luvmijeje:You don't know anything? If the curfew couldn't stop these and actually aggravated it, what do you think State of emergency will do? Put more fuel. |
ThatFairGuy1:Did the lekki massacre occurr in the East yesternight? |
SalamRushdie:Stop all these conspiracy theories and stop making the Fulani look so powerful. |
Including Tinubu. He was the one that egged the govt to deploy force on the protesters. I made a thread about it earlier today. That man's greed for power will consume him. |
chudyprince:Uptime is different from screen on time. |
TechyMm0:How is it not a win? Are these countries not practicing democracy now, from the dictatorship/oppression they were under for decades? |
I normally don't support these guys, but this is an exception. What they did back in 2016/17 is still fresh in our minds, so the govt know what they are capable of. #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigera #EndSWAT #ENDBADGOVERNANCE |
TechyMm0:Do you know who the govt is? The people are the govt. Those in authority are there because the people put them there. Even in military regime, the masses revolt against the government and win at the end. Egypt, Tunisia, Mali, Sudan are recent examples. |
uniqueboi1:The big thief who has been holding Lagos state by the jugular and stealing billions of naira yearly, for doing nothing. |
Aside appealing for the protests to be called off, Tinubu also also made allusion for force to be used to end the protests (that's if that is even possible). Please let's not bring tribal leanings into this. This man is evil. |
“The intent of the organisers of the protests is to achieve stated objectives on police reform, which the government has in principle accepted. It can certainly not be their motive to cause generalised anarchy or effect regime change. “If they give the impression that that is their goal, then any government will necessarily have to act with the requisite decisiveness and force to restore law and order and preserve constitutional rule." http://saharareporters.com/2020/10/20/endsars-ex-lagos-governor-tinubu-justifies-use-force-peaceful-protesters-president Lalasticlala |
Lies. They're 1,997 not 2000. BTW I won't be surprised if 70% of those prisoners are innocent and are still awaiting trial after years of arrest. Buhari must learn by fire by force. |
You mean DSS' fake coalition. |
OperationNigeriaMustDivide DexterousOne:LOL. There's nothing tribalistic or 'bigotic' about Nigeria dividing. This country is not working, so it's either we divide or we restructure for absolute resource control. Arrewa:Are you sure you're smart at all? You think these protests are still about SARS that has since been disbanded? I know you're very fidgety about the possibility of Nigeria breaking up or even restructuring from the current "monkey dey work, baboons dey chop instead". |
They said the occupant is from the presidency, thinking it would make the protesters bulge. |
He said so more than 5 days ago immediately the Police announced the solution of SARS and protesters outlined a new set of demands. Looks like DSS "begged" him to do that. Whatever is the case, we move! Protests continue! |
I'm hoping for a situation where Buhari tries nonsense and each of the three regions in the south declare their independence immediately. No retreat, no surrender! |
Fake news. |
It appears that the era of scheduling a one day protest and going back to sleep is well coming to a full stop. What even amazes is that despite the fact that the police know that the protests would only last for one day, they would still harass, chase, panel-beat protesters as if the protesters came with guns. https://cdn.punchng.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/05105153/Revolution-4.fw_.png Soldiers were even deployed for protesters less than 100 |
omenka:Anonymous is not a foreign entity. It comprises of hacktivists from every country of the world including Nigeria. They have no physical location or central leadership, just like the current EndSARS movement. |
The main organizers of the protest are The Féminist Coalition, a group formed this year to advance gender equality in Nigeria. The raised hand signifies defiance/protest while the cross is the worldwide sign for the female gender. So far, they have been doing a spectacular job. |
This sarrki sometimes I wonder if he even went to primary school at all. How can a former governor's Twitter handle not bear his real name? |
Na wao. He actually said he would not eat again until January 2022. |
Totally fake. This is most likely the work of DSS to weaken our morale. |
Kunja2: BrutusOj: juniorstar:Yahoo Groups is just one of the services Yahoo offers. It's not the company that is shutting down. |
... |
Any state gov who tells the commissioner of police to use force on the protesters, is calling for a bigger and more energized protest. When these protests become bigger, some governors will resign and flee to neighboring countries. |
GOATandYAMtheory:Let me school you: the protests should not stop until we see radical changes on ground. Setting up commissions and panels didn't start today! If the protests fizzle out too quickly, the govt will go to sleep again. And mind you, the protest is sending a bigger message to the govt - end hunger, end northernization, end border closure that has now doubled the prices of foodstuffs, etc. And to top it all, end Nigeria! |
She was recently pardoned by Sanwo-olu after her court conviction for violating the lock down order. I hope they won't reverse it, accusing her of prepping up the protests |
The end of Nigeria is at hand. |
This is a pittance. The least paid university lecturer should be getting ₦450K per month. |
