It is an Oyo Title given by the Oyo crown but the title is 'Aare Onakakanfo' and is widely respected across yorubaland.

The title is not Aare onakakanfo of oyo town. In ancient Oyo it was bestowed on prominent Oyo warriors. From the 19th century it has been bestowed on indigenes across yorubaland. Ladoke Akintola is not from Oyo town, neither was MKO Abiola. It is respected because the Alaafin is the firstborn of Okanbi according to oral yoruba mythology.

Obi ending his rally in Lagos and not in the East shows how much his campaign is really relying on Lagos votes. Interesting.

The abuja rally started at night. He was in kebbi in the afternoon. This was Tinubu being announced in eagle square Abuja at 7.35pm.
