This sort of tribalism exhibited on this thread is disheartening and its the real reason why this country will not move forward. We are human beings, lets act and think like people with mature intellect and not cave men.

martha: This is kindda true though... I have always thought waiting till marriage was cool... mainly cos the bible said so but with this woman's real life tale, m having second thoughts... Now I think having sex with ur partner before marriage can help straighten things btwn d both of u and also make u understand how ur bodies work together... I am glad I came accross this thread... Virginity till marriage is not COMPULSORY but it's NECESSARY... M just really confuse now... I dnt wanna say d words of d scripture are wrong... Well, lemme jst say: God Take Control... Sexx is the most powerful element in marriage... Sexx can make u fall in love. Sexx can also make u fall out of love... Sexx is d pillar of a good relationship... I have always been against pre-marital sexx and I cant believe m kindda encouraging it... Well cos it ended bad for her doesnt mean it will also end bad for others... Again I say, God Take Control...
sex is only a part of marriage, you can have awesome sex but be in a horrible union. Truth is marriage is constant work, great sex or not, you have to work at to make it work.

Sex wasn't this womans problem, did she love the guy really before marriage, did she really know him, did they know each other? Or were they just hanging out till marriage? Attraction kick starts a relationship but commitment and constant and determined effort keeps the relationship going.

sex is only one aspect of marriage, if the other areas are lacking, there will still be a problem.

I support sex before marriage though, I just dnt think only great sex is the ingredient for great marriage.

The male in this write up seems really needy, I think its the other way around. Women are the ones who want to talk. After a hard day at work, a man just wants to have dinner, see headline news and sleep.

OBJ should go and rest jare! In peace! His administration didn't face as much rivalry as this one, and wasn't one tenth as productive as GEJ's. The whole world knows 'Baba' is the ultimate 'Baba' of corruption. Speaking of harassing people and assassinations? Who killed Bola Ige abeg? Plus Fela Anikulapo's harassment plus murder of his mother? Just two examples out of several.

Baba, please don't come pointing fingers when we all know the monster you are!

musiwa112: 99% OF Africa men dont sleep with their wife , while she is pregnant. it is not because he hate you. it is just what they believe. if you ask a nigeria female friend ask her. they dont do that in africa.

in africa we give pregnant women money . we believe it bring us good lucky. i have seen women here. so i tried to give them something to find favour before God, but because they dont believe in things like this. they wonder why, you want to give them.
orisii mewa, na WA o, I wonder what backward villa this guy was uprooted from? This is the first am hearing that African men don't sleep with their wives in pregnancy. GOSH!!!

please this woman needs sensible advice, not concocted BS!

Also, if I received money for everytime I have been pregnant, I would have been a millionaire by now, I doubt this guy is African sef, where in the world did he come up,with this truck load of bull?
Family › Re: Help! Is My Husband Marrying A Second Wife? by repogirl(f): 5:24pm On Dec 21, 2013
Wifee, u are asking for advice but u're not listening to anything being said.... Your gut is telling you something but u're choosing not to listen...... You are weak and he knows this, he knows even if he gives you shit to eat, you'll swallow and tell him"thanks honey, I still love you".

from all u said above, its obvious your husband is milking you for all you can offer and he knows his kid with you will make it difficult for you to leave.

the way I see you, even if he pokes you in the eye with his new wedding ring, u won't still accept that he's getting married. You need solid proof, so keep, waiting till you get it. If you like, keep taking care of him and paying the bills while he amasses his fortunes back home and then dumps you when you are middle aged with nothing else going for you.

I'm not usually this sarcastic but sometimes I can't stand a certain level of gullibility. Wish you the best.

p.s. As long as you keep eating his lies and shit, he will keep feeding you with it, you know what you have to do, so do it!

Abeg o, women should be careful of yoga and aerobics especially in the third trimester, if u're near your due date.

during my second pregnancy, I was trying out one stooopid exercise my husband showed me in YouTube for pregnant women and my water broke. It was still two weeks to my delivery date, since no contractions at all, they had to induce, mehn..... Its an understatement to say I saw hell that night, six hours of pure hell.

Amelian: Op, my 2months newly married female friend, sadly burst out one fateful day and says, don't ever except much from ones husband.. That a lady should strive and earn a good living and be able to cater for her own bills , cos even when the lady gets married , she will still be catering for her own bills...and she was saying it with a very sad look... She's yet to get a job, and the husband who initially cared about her dreams and aspirations , is now docile after getting married...no more dropping her off @ school, now complaining he has very early meetings to attend... huh....no more taking those steps with her , to become an entrepreneur...In short, she feels alone in her marriage....my dear, lemme not say too much... Just try be financially independent ....cos u won't get better elsewhere...that's d harsh realities these days....OYO

Funny question....you want to stay with someone and you don't love him? Where's the sense in that?

tell your friend that she'll only end up wasting her time over some ediot who isn't worth her space and might miss out on who she shld really be with.

she shld dump his sorry cheating a'ss, move on with life and be happy ojare, when its not like she's shackled to him.

kamdyjenny: Tanks ya all. One is similar to all ur post her love for the guys money! I dnt rlly knw much abt dat, but I knw dis guys spends on her normally sha, lyk there was a time he got gifts of abt 170k at a time for her. She rlly claims some part of her loves d guy truly while some dnt. Now d question is, is there anytin she can do so dat remaing part wld stop loving him. Rmber I hv told her to stop having sex wit him. But she claims she can't stop it, dat is she ok sexing som1 she does nt love
hmmmm, she's definitely in love with him for his money......well..... She cannot have her cake and eat it, some chicks prefer to cry in a Bentley than to leave a guy that makes them unhappy....wish her all the bestest.

I understand your point of view but he is thinking of proposing and will soon come and see my people but am afraid on how I'll cope with his attitude.
Girl, maybe am old fashioned o but I believe if a guy really likes his girl he should do stuff for her form time to time, it should be a natural thing. I know I wouldnt hesitate to do nice things for him as far as the money is there.

No matter how independent a lady is, a part of her still wants a guy to try, its nothing to be ashamed about. If this guy is this way now, goodness knows he will be worse after marriage.

if you want to really get married, pls have a premarital discussion and lay out your fears to him, also, you guys settle on whose income does what in the family......

You shouldnt have rejected the money but what was his reason for giving such an unusual amount by the way? undecided

Where the parents have failed their kids, it is now the duty of a sane, well meaning society and the law to take charge........ Religion and everything else be damned! If we keep burying our heads and doing nothing until the issues blow over, this thing could turn into a dangerous epidemic! Before you know it, teenagers will begin thinking its their God given right to get married and be divorced to be replaced by another!

Absolute and cruel madness!

The heart of men, is soooooooooo blackened by wickedness and the brains of some people have been so bleached that they can't think straight anymore, they have lost their humanity and know not right from wrong...... Am sure everyone supporting this nonsense would gladly give out there 14 year olds for marriage..... Forget religion, let's look at this issue morally....

An old man saddles a teenager with a kid of her own, divorcing her and then bringing another kid in as a wife whom he'll divorce in another few years to take another....... Isn't this man suffering from a mental illness? Namely paedophilia?

Oya, supporters, line up ur teenage daughters for men like these........ Ndi Ara!

Evanisgud: NLANDERS silly set of pple.if she had agreed ,u wil say she is cheap now she make "enyanga" u start insulting her. Na waooo.
Which Kain stooooooopid yanga be that? Insulting someone isn't yanga! And overacting in the opposite direction from the way you feel about someone is plain stoooooopid! So she expected the guy to start begging and crawling for her Abi?......shebi he has left her and moved on, but the stoooopid geh is now tripping (so funny), pls advice her on what to do!

If I want to advice.....even though I know advising stoooopid pipu is pointless, I would say text an apology and say you were having a really bad day so you took it out on him and tell him he can call if he wants to, anytime.....then fast and pray (lol), that he gets over his disgust of you cos of your serious attitude problems. angry

I'm laughing sooooooooo hard right now, serves the girl right, jare! Did she want the guy to crawl and beg for her? Mchewww! Did she think she was that hot, because a guy is asking for your number means you should disrespect and treat him horribly? Or she thought he didn't have any shred of pride and dignity?

One word of advice to everyone, treat people the same way you expect to be treated by others whether they need your number or not!

Madiba was right in his assertions but then it should not be misconstrued and used to target this present government! Nigeria's free falling began a long time ago, like madiba said, from our DICTATORS and their DICTATING ERA...... Not just five years ago!
