Popowaa: Nobody is giving you pressure to update,is just that u are been proud, that's all.U can be the best writer in the whole world but if no nobody reads ur story then who are u?U are nobody without ur readers so treat ur reader politely even if u feel they are not been reasonable.U can choose not to update but if u update i will come and read. Nobody can stop me from finishing this story.
proud? You are mistaken, soooooo mistaken. I'm frustrated, I expect understanding not someone coming to summarize what is going on with me when you dnt know even the beginning of it.

I dnt expect this from u popowaa, u of all people shld know I'm humble, I take time out to reply my readers and respect them if they respect me, but I just can't stand or turn a blind eye to rudeness. That is not acceptable.

here we go again.

Ohibenmma, its allowed to take a break, most writers do.

my problem is not about motivation, its more to do health wise and hard ware wise.

you say its a female thing.....i don't get you, even males lack motivation lots of the time- not that that's my problem.

Anyhoo, I dnt want to start another war now so I'll just shut up, just don't come to my thread dashing peoples hopes and spewing half concocted bullshit.

Woged2005: Sista sex is canal and there's nothing spiritual about it. grin.

There's something about u he doesn't like but doesn't know how to tell you out of respect for you. encourage him to be open and accept criticisms.

1.Be careful of some advice I see here. They are dangerous and absolute craps by inexperienced people.
2.Men are stimulated by hormones secreted when their brain process erotic thoughts. Unlike women, they're very visual (react to what they see). Improve in ur appearance. Make urself appealing to the eye. stock up ur wardrobe with sexy sleepwears.
2. Alcohol, stress, illness, arguments, naging, and turn-offs (ugly undies, lousy dressing, repulsive habits, etc) kill sexual apetite in men. Avoid any of that.
3. Avoid giving him heavy, food starchy food at night, he will sleep off. Lipton tea, a glass of wine can make a difference.
4.Find out what seduces him and turns him on. Talk about sex, talk naughty and play like kids, let ur bodies touch.
5.If symptom persists, see a doctor.
6.Please stay away from sharing this with friends, family, ur pastor, and church members otherwise ur marriage will be engulfed in fire and brimestonegrin
You just came and packed blame on the OP, na wa o.

Look OP, u can seduce, buy hot porn (besides porn is sinful, it makes things worse set), spend your whole money on spa treatment but if he ain't into sex, he just ain't into it.

You are not to blame, I don't believe there's anything physically wrong with you, a man that is turned on can do sex anyhow how you are, highest he will close his eyes. The issue here is communication, he has to say what's wrong and if he can't, u need a mediator, someone whom you both trust, that's why I advice a pastor or relationship counsellor in the church. My own pastor organizes marriage dinners once a quarter where couples discuss issues they are going through. We all share, what will the other person do with ur information?

Please don't die in silence, you deserve to be happy.
#did you say 2 times in a week? Damn! That's half of what you're supposed to enjoy PER DAY!
2 times a month! That's what she said.

OP, I dunno how to advice in this case o but you gotta live with it, he's ur husband and for better or worse. You guys need to get to the root of the problem and this can only be done if he wants to communicate with you.

do you have someone in the church u r close to, since you both seem to be good Christians and got married in the church, I guess there should be someone, some kind of marriage counselor who can act as a go between for the both of you.

dnt die in silence o, twice a month is bullshit, you deserve to be satisfied or he's not keeping to his side of the deal!

HumbledbYGrace: Every Judge chooses 1 story from the 15 stories we have- clear?

8 people with highest scores automatically makes it to the finals.

From the 7 left out, we choose 4, with the highest score.

The remaining three are out totally!

hmmmm, I think this is much ado about nothing much, it sounds tedious.
The selected four will each write another short story.

Then the public will vote for their best story from those four stories, the 2 with the highest votes will make it to the final round, join the 8, to make it ten, then we do the proper final round as planned
I think this is much ado about nothing much, it seems tedious.

For me I think 5 people will be best, competition will be tight in the last round but 7 is still fine sha. HBG, your suggestion.....i don't quite agree with it. 10 is ten-much.
Literature › Re: Short Story Competition by repogirl(f): 12:56pm On Oct 01, 2013
How many days to we have to upload our analysis? When is the judges deadline? And mazi, I also think we should pick the best five for a final round. Just to be double sure we picked the right person or people.

Ishilove: I disagree. Most of the writers already had their storylines before Miss Fibre posted (I can't think of Miss Fibre's username without craving fibre active digestive biscuit embarassed )
owkay, lets agree to disagree then, the dream thing is getting real suspicious, and some of the time has nothing to do with the story.

Finally read all 62 pages...

I like it coz its niceeeeeeeeee cheesy
WOW, good to see u here, omolola, cheesy, thank you for gracing my humble story, I seriously appreciate it.

been meaning to read yours 'hearts of steel' but no time sad. That's no excuse now sha, I must return the favor. Thanks again.

HumbledbYGrace: Atleast we agree somwhere, I did read em stories sha, yawning and all, I managed to read them....that part was to steer up some energy....grin
loool, you put the fear of God in them when u said that.

damexx, okay, I get you, but guys why not put in extra effort, would it be asking much if you typed it on a PC somewhere, went to a cyber cafe and uploaded? I know its just recharge cards at stake here but then its still a competition and you do want to win, don't you?

also, u're right, no ones above mistakes. Yeah, I know I've got typos in my own write UPS but there are typos u can overlook, but what I've been seeing, I'm not sure if they are spelling errors or grammatical ones. Mixing up tenses and then mispelling.....its seriously reducing the quality of your work.
Literature › Re: Short Story Competition by repogirl(f): 11:39am On Sep 30, 2013
HBG, habatically, take it easy on these writers, the idea behind the competition is to find good writers from a pool of new ones. There will definitely be some poor work as most of them are doing this sort of thing for the first time. Lets encourage and in the end, let them know what they're doing wrong. I'm not an expert myself but I can feel a good story when I read one, also you know even if the beginning isn't catchy, it could pick up later, so we owe it to them to read it all.

now to writers, truthfully its seeming miss fibres story is influencing the dream stories. What's the point of talking about a dream when it has no consequence to your plot? To me its just a waste of words you coulda used in developing your character more, just saying sha.

and please whatever happened to paragraphing (don't look at my own here, I'm using a wack browser that doesn't seem to have the feature).
please, spell check, paragraphs and be true to your unique self when you write. Enjoy it, don't labour for it.

Ok, damex, two words, spell check, you owe it to urself to do that, especially in a competition. This goes for Sambroose too and all other intending competitors.

we seem to have quite a lot of dream stories, don't we? Good job although I'm still trying to figure if the concluding quote best concludes the story.
