I doubt that this technique wld work. How will people with plenty load and no car do na? He shld have said commercial buses and cabs shld ply the route bt only park at designated areas while private cars shld park somewhere and take the bus down and then clear street trading. Anyway I know they won't do that because d politician wives can't get off their fat a-sses to trek. Am just wondering how people like me with load will manage but I guess noone frigging gives a hoot about the masses.

rastle: The question the guy should ask himself is "if he is in her shoes what would he have done" ladies don't have time to waste waiting for someone who seems not ready for marriage.the guy should just overlook the past and find a way to amend his home, den he should move on.
Exactly my thoughts! She was even a virgin at first, dat tells u d type of girl she is. She gave him many years of her life believing she would marry him then suddenly he let's her go! You really can't blame her for her actions, womens biological clocks are ticking and when disappointment comes like this one, correct reasoning goes out the door. She was seriously looking to settle down although doing it the wrong way.
They were not together at the moment and he'd told her to get on with her life anyway so he should jst not bother himself wit what she did during that period. People make mistakes, forgive, heal and believe in them to be better people.

Its nt easy to trim jst d tummy? If u loose weight, u loose it all ova.

Politics › Re: Jonathan Visits Governor Wada In Hospital by repogirl(f): 8:41am On Jan 03, 2013
Eziachi: Why would a sick person dressed up for someone coming to empathise with him? He should have put his lipstick on, to look attractive for him.
Only in Nigeria.
There's a difference btw sick and recovering. Did you read one of the posts here dat he stood up to talk to the president? Does that sound like someone critically ill? Besides what is he even wearing in the photo dat is soooo hot? The caftan and cap? When u are admitted in the hospital, dnt u wear clothes? are you n_aked because u r sick? Or is there a special sick person uniform I dnt know about? He decided to wear this so what is another person's blo-ody business there? I tire o! Only in Nigeria will we be bothering ourselves with trivial issues like dressing when d main point is d guy almost lost his life.
Personally I think this shows the governor wants people to see he's not as bad as they think and not start throwing a pity party for him. First he rejects treatment abroad and now dresses up to show he's alright! Thumbs up guvner!
Family › Re: My Wife thank you by repogirl(f): 5:08pm On Jan 02, 2013
When you guys were dating, were you were not giving her with gifts and the like, even money attimes but after marriage, a different story comes up. Its not new, most men act like this, dats why we say they change after marriage. Anyhoo, u shuld give her something because dats how a woman feels she is loved and has a caring husband. Even if she earns double your salary, u've got to give her something, it shows u care, its not by mouth only, women need to see actions.
If you dnt want nagging, frowning and malice, give her sumthing before u seem like a fraud.
Remember that everything u own is hers and vise versa,so there's no her money or your money. All join!
this looks so much like a staged photo op.
why should the patient and doctor dressed like that?
is that an operating theatre?
The doctor is a surgeon, might have come in to receive the president after a surgery process or before one and obviously d governor must have been expecting the president and so dressed up for him. What is staged about that?
People are happy dat d governor is looking well while u are looking for something that isn't there. SMH.

Whatever Jare! I've got over 30 likes, need I say more? cool

igbo boy: LOL your reasoning is very funny indeed.... SHowing respect to those who get pass you no be exlcusive yoruba things na normal thing for naija.

Una for south Nigeria think say aboki dull, meanwhile the abokis are the smartest set of Nigerians.... An aboki is more savvy than a southern nigerian (yes fashola included). We keep on playing on stereotypes that are far from reality on the ground for example:
#1 yorubas are more political deft than others, yet aboki always record more political wins than anyother group in Nigeria,
#2 igbos sabi business, yet the top 10 richest nigerians are not igbos,
#3, igbos like money, yet no other group in nigeria have stolen more money pass abokis and yorubas in nigeria.
#4 Yorubas are dirty (cos of lagos), yet half of the people in lagos are not evey yorubas.
#5 Yorubas like book, I am yet to find any part of nigeria wey no like book (dey there, aboki dey go school wella). Every family for my whole village (yes 100% ) get a bachelor degree holder

So you write up is just mere fiction thinking fashola can play dangote by hailing him(afterall dangote didnt get to where he is being a dafty/dummy)
Infact hailing society weight shakers has long been in african music and not exclusively a yoruba thing. Duncan mighty mentioned pH city big boys in his song "portharcourt song"...I remember before oliver de coque died, people were attacking him because of his hailing of big igbo business men in his music whose wealth were questionable.
Err. ...Pardon me but was this meant to be a reasonable defense to the initial post?

If it was then, honestly it woulda been better if you hadn't bothered at all at all because what you have here is even more insulting than Foster Cat. At least he only tried to disparage one person. You on the other hand....you just farabale insulted an entire tribe.

Can't believe there are seventeen people who thought you made sense.

Lord have Mercy! embarassed
Truth is bitter, yorubas are dat way, I'm one, I know how it goes down. If u think I insulted a tribe dats ur own bt I'm talking from my own experience. A grandfather can postrate for a teenager if he needs money from him.
Having gone thru the thread I've gathered dat from his actions, the governor was definitely joking and so what I said earlier doesn't apply here bt still doesn't change anything. Take or leave, u're entitled to ur own opinion.

Foster cat: what ever.hahahahahahahaha.I laugh in hausa.joke or no Joke, the aboki did not ask for a pix.did u watch very well, the aboki just stood calm.Fashola acknowleged d fact say e no easy to b africans numero un..Iol
You obviously dnt know how intelligent we yorubas are when it comes to money matters. They show respect to d rich even if they don't like the person to further their own agenda. Haven't u seen how yoruba musicians hail people of influence in their music so dat they get sprayed with money? So in aboki's mind he's feeling like a whole governor is begging for a pic with him whereas governor is like he has seen sponsor for one of his projects.
Romance › Re: I Love Her But She Is Too Shy by repogirl(f): 6:59am On Dec 30, 2012
If you loose her in d process, its not d end of d world. She has her own mind and should be allowed to make her decisions and if u say u truly love her and show it and she's an intelligent girl, then u shouldn't loose her. Personally love texts irritate me. If you love her truly it will be in ur actions like some posters said, no sex yet, both of u are too young except u r the only son in your family so they want u to breed early(dats a joke). Encourage and support her in what she's doing, treat her with respect and also work hard yourself so she can admire you and fall in love with you too.

ATMC jst said it all. She's a teenager and used to seeing u as an authority figure so she's still being respectful and unsure, and yeah you should just be a friend for now and give her some time to get used to d whole idea little by little.
As for her lying, maybe she was jst embarassed abt the phone screen and mite nt want to bring it up for fear of making u feel she's asking you to do something abt it.
I feel for her sha, reminds me of me at dat age. But take care of her o, don't break her heart or me I go fight you. I hope ur love is really for real?

Charles1234: Why you dey vex,how many house do dey have if one should get burn, they are criminal,we should be sincere here ,if obasanjo die ,90% of Nigeria will be happy ,those that will be sad including you, will be sad because is either your father too stole from Nigerians and you are afriad what your father has sow will not come to hurt him or you maybe..

If you think am heartless then you are fool..I m not from south Africa,I am a Nigeria but praying and checking the news every day to know how Madela is doing and i was glad yesterday he was out from the hospital...I am heartless toward our leaders because they made me heartless..when dem dey steal and forgot the masses ,why do u want me to care about Obasanjo..Do you know how many people have died from bad road..Obasanjo is almost 80 years old,in this our generation ,are you sure u will live up to that ages? with the level of poverty and stress and strugglehuh?
Guy, aside from the typos, ibon and gunshot wounds in ur statement, I second the statement well well. Who bloody gives a flipping hoot if his frigging (stolen money)house is on fire jare? He has more stolen money to repair it abeg. How many poor people and children go hungry with no roof over their head in Nigeria, a rich nation where only a handful of people share d money.
Some might say dont hate d playa, hate the game but I say karma is a bitch when it comes to bite u back on your a-ss.

debrief08: As soon as I opened this thread I knew I will see what Pastor said yet no interview from Doctors who receieved such a rare medical feat.
Nigerians, what hospital did she give birth in? Why didn't they interview the Doctor who received such aa rare case? The Doctor would have been on her case as this is an extra special delivery.
She would have been closely observed and managed and entered into the medical Journal but as usual the Hospital name is clearly missing from the story and Doctors report and interview none existant, yet we will shout halleluyah until a mother comes to claim her baby and we see a "Mary" case repeat.
I believe in miracles oh, but let us ask the right questions, let these miracles be verifiable.
I for one am interested in hearing her Doctors veiws, no Doctor will get a 59 year old positive pregnancy test and not annouce this to the world as a special case.
Till I read from a certified Doctor and not a trado medical lungu Doctor I reserve my commentsm
I get your point but then doesn't mean this isn't true. You know our journalists lack investigative journalism skills or maybe not enough funds backing up their journalism, whatever. A doctor once told me of an extra ordinary case she witnessed while in her housemanship of a 70 something grand mother being pregnant and another nurse told me about a grandmother who gave birth in my hospital. These things still happen once in a while.
