Politics › Re: Insecurity: Children’s Protest Over Killings In Katsina Sparks Concern by RepoMan007: 2:45pm On Mar 09, 2024
Staged insecurity. Where are hungry bandits getting money to buy sophisticated weapons from? Before you say kidnapping, where did they get initial capitals of mobility, weapons, food and shelter from?
They should go and sleep. The clown from Katsina borrowed so much, he ran out after second term. He knows there is no oyel money for useless amnesty.

I don't believe this. SE is always very expensive and closely followed by SS, the SW and finally Urban MB.

As they complete it, I hope they equally police, maintain and secure it immediately.
No need waiting for Fulanis to mount a deadly checkpoint on the road before crying foul and start a reactionary cry.
No need waiting for potholes to divide the road before patching it up.

Jewessgratitud3:
They factored in the cost of producing the seasonings and packaging too. Those color prints on the package cost money too thats why it can't be same price as plain wheat.
that's true but obviously some middlemen capitalized on those to inflate prices. Instead let noodles be packed in cheaper container. Who expensive packaging epp?
TV/Movies › Re: How Much Netflix Costs In Every Country by RepoMan007: 9:11am On Mar 09, 2024
Nigeria was about the lowest if not. We spend 60% on food averagely so not much disposable income to go after Netflix with.
Family › Re: See Hilarious Comments On Social Media As Price Noodles Drops From 18500 To14k by RepoMan007: 9:08am On Mar 09, 2024
If not for young ones and lazy adult who don't want to cook for long, who rushes noodles?
That thing is made from wheat o. Imagine 100kg of wheat flour is less than 100 thousand Naira but noodles of 40kg selling for more.

which economists?

Give it 4 months and come back to tell us what they saw.

Workers borrow to buy assets mostly and not to eat suya or fiz their hair. These theories are evasive when it comes to our own dynamics.

Since tinubu has decided to blame His predecessor for the economy, they have decided to use insecurity to teach his govt a lesson.
Remember Buhari witnessed the staged kidnapping and release of school girls in order to further score a point against GEJ as being better in terms of security. It was in one of such jihadi-drama episodes that Leah Sharibu was kept back for being a Christian.

They have taken the women now and asked Tinubu to solve the riddle.

If concrete is being used then that might just explain the increase in cost of cement. I can't imagine a construction company going for hundreds of cement trucks suddenly and prices remaining stable when supply is inelastic.

dominique:
Metals are strong conductors of heat and electricity, wouldn't the trapped heat during the day turn the home into an oven?
it will make it quickly become hotter during the day and colder during the night. It doesn't store as much heat as cement/concrete/clay but takes in heat faster and dissipate same faster.
Politics › Re: Tinubu: I Did Not Urge FG To Print New Naira Notes (March 2020) by RepoMan007: 9:22am On Mar 08, 2024
Sheuns:
Do you know that CBN has printed new Naira notes this year?

Yet finance minister blames the previous administration for printing too much Naira.

The pictures I attached are for the doubting Thomas.

The 1000 naira note I attached was withdrawn by me over the ATM.

If truly there is excess naira in circulation, why is the new administration printing more in less than a year in office?
There is a difference between printing new notes to replace worn out notes and printing new money(electronically and physically) to have funds with which to pay salary and do projects.

We leave the fire and chase the smoke. What are the earners of that N100,000 contributing and producing? If everybody idle away in govt offices and go home with N100k, what happens when they need to buy something with that money. Or you think the labouring farmer will try to labour three times harder? He will simply triple his prices to adjust.
