The man definitely believes in printing of money to meet immediate obligations of govt not minding the inflationary consequences.

Tinubu indeed supported Buhari to pprint money recklessly.

FreeStuffsNG:
Speaking on the perks as well as the disadvantages attached to relocating abroad, especially being a celebrity, Femi Brainard said it is better to be celebrated and be a prince in Nigeria than to move abroad and be a nobody. He also noted that his wife does not love it at all.

Eni awifun Oba je o gbo.

Many of them are so stuck now that they can't even be as sincere to themselves as he is.

It's nothing but a wrong mindset to think that you will resent your own land/ country and expect that you will prosper on that land or overseas, it's impossible!

When you are not blessed in Nigeria, it's not because others are not doing well here in Nigeria, for most of you, you were horribly raised with the wrong mindset and indoctrinated to hate Nigeria by some of your parents who were part of those behind the multiple problems now facing the nation so you ended up and continued your life in a circle of negative minded unpatriotic people. You curse Nigeria, the land curses you back in multiple folds and nothing you sow in the land will prosper but if you bless Nigeria, the land blesses you back in multiples.

Until you wish Nigeria well and do your best in patriotism, you will never be blessed by this land and if you carry your resentment and hatred for Nigeria overseas, the rejection by Nigeria will follow you like your shadow.

The grass is always greener on the other side until you get there. What you are doing here in Nigeria is so valuable that if you nurture it well, you will one day be going overseas for business/ professional travels and enjoy vacations with your family and friends. And even if you still don't go overseas, you will be happy, safe, fulfilled and blessed here in Nigeria.

God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
You need mental help. Your brain is shaking.

How does relocating abroad equates to resenting your country?
Or those making it here are they not mostly corner-cutters?
Maybe everyone should stay behind and start doing yahoo yahoo and politics of do-or-die.
Politics › Re: Governors Are Responsible For Naira Crash by RepoMan007: 8:50am On Mar 07, 2024
Poster is right.

The state govs are not doing any new thing with the sudden cash they are getting after subsidy removal and naira devaluation. I blame Tinubu for trusting them to do the right thing with such level cash.

Let only old project be maintained or new one streamlined into templates. By streamline into templates, I mean only new projects like hospitals or school buildings should be commenced and it should fit a cost template such that the the FG determines the price, size and format to reduce looting.
Politics › Re: 24 States Can’t Pay Salaries Without FG Allocation by RepoMan007: 8:32am On Mar 07, 2024
SoNature:
How can Akwa Ibom and Delta States be paying N127.8bn and N110.3bn in salaries respectively? What value do those workers bring to the table to warrant earning sums that their states cannot generate? These two states are the highest on the list.

BTW, two-third of Nigerian states cannot pay salaries without federal intervention, yet politicians are talking about state police. First things first. Before state police, restructure Nigeria to allow states or regions control their resources and then pay taxes to the centre. If not, the level of corruption in today's police will be a child's play.
Theirs(Delta Akwa Ibom is perfectly understandable to me. Their land has been used for exploration and they need to absorb people massively into the civil service.

Politics › Re: Chinatown In Nigeria Denies Treatment To Nigerians At Hospital And Builds Prison by RepoMan007: 2:47pm On Mar 06, 2024
grandstar:
I really don't know if I can condemn them for setting up their hospital for their citizens and police station within Chinatown. It might be for practical reasons.

Finding Mandarin speaking doctors in Lagos would be like looking for a needle in a haystack. It is therefore practical. If opened to the general public, it would be swamped with "oyinbo loving anything" Nigerians and defeat its purpose.

However, the door should be open in the case of an emergency.

About Chinese jails, it might have been influenced by the very faulty Nigerian judicial system. It is their citizens they are locking up and not Nigerians.

I doubt those locked up are Chinese political dissenters as those would most likely be repatriated and "properly" dealt with in China

China has police stations globally, but hidden. It exists to keep tabs on Chinese citizens and influence their conduct. China is still a dictatorship and has probably the largest "Big Brother" monitoring system globally, monitoring its citizens not only in China, but outside as well.

Again, perception plays a huge role here and not simply what is legal.

If a black only boutique opened in Atlanta, it won't raise eyeball. However, if a white only saloon opened in the same city, it would probably make breaking news on CNN. This has to do with the sordid racism of the Trans-American slave trade.

Likewise, if a teenage black boy should bully a white teen in school, it might not be big problem.
If however, a Jewish boy should do same to Palestinian in an American school, there would be a backlash.

Should we see the Chinatown issue on legal grounds or should it be based on perceptions? Are what the Chinese doing beneficial to them and not meant to hurt or look down on their host nation?

Blue3k, I notice you show a lot of interest in things like these. I would like your take please.
I am not surprised at your submission here. Is the hospital licences by our system? If yes, what are the rules?

you are the one gloating about an election victory in which you are not a beneficiary, you were not in Qatar, not in dubai, not a special adviser, not a minister, the one that would have touched you directly is good governance and you are happy the government is failing on that, ask the people how they felt between 2020 and 2022,and now,you will see uts not about election but about the greatest failure of all time, because all those yoruba market women, are not igbo neither is kwam 1 igbo or election looser, their reaction now was different from your imaginary double prices of 2020

Unemployment looming. When cost of production is high, price increases, demand falls, quantity produced reduces, C>π, factories reduce number of workers to cut cost. It is getting scarier.
your analysis stops at the middle and is incomplete. It also means one only needs to cultivate about 9 bags of Irish potatoes to have national minimum wage of N30,000.
But office job and salary is a curse many don't want to leave.

Lament and pass. That's what most Nigerians will do. No one will accept to farm wheat, corn, groundnut or potatoes even now the prices have doubled.
