I don't know why I feel the cabal has succeeded in killing this Amotekun of a thing albeit gradually. The momentum is dropping, and with comments like this one signalling different operational commands, the cabal is driving a dagger through the heart of the whole operation. Amotekun can never be successful with different states having different strategy; policy implementation models. I know some people will come with Intelligence sharing blablabla....it may likely not work when a certain governor decides to become a pvssy later A central command is what they need, not this sissy arrangement they are suggesting. This for me is the beginning of the crack Anyways, lets wait for Buhari to come and tell us what he thinks. |
legendhayor:Oga, get your acts together. The one you're referring to happened 2017 no doubt. The one under debate is still going on as I'm talking to you. Nigeria Army gun boats are still in Agge Community, and they have already burnt parts of Bilabiri community, all in Ekeremor Local Government Area. This coward behaviour of the Nigeria Army happen almost all the time in Delta and Bayelsa |
sweetgala:Nigeria Army destroyed three communities in Ekeremor Local Government because of some sinful Sea Pirate Mad-Dogs. They don't only tempt them in the North, they kill them in large numbers. Most of the good for nothing cowards even fear deployment to Northern states |
The amalgamation of 1914 is civil unrest Independence of 1960 is civil unrest Nigeria police Nigeria Army DSS Buhari.... The above are the causes of civil unrest in Nigeria, not Libya or Niger Delta |
Guestlander:The writer never said or insinuated that Amotekun is a bad idea. He is only juxtaposing the support of Amotekun by Ibos with events leading to 2015, and after. If you have a mind that is discerning, and appreciation for literature, you would understand that his write up is a strong call for the West and East to work together. Yorubas supported the clampdown on Ibos by this regime even though it was none of their business to do so. But now, IGBOs are supporting Amotekun against the government even though it is none of their business to do so. That is the point here For the writer, Yorubas enjoy criminalising other people because of their support for Buhari especially until now, that is the message he is passing. Once again, he never said Amotekun is bad |
Investment summit billed to take place on Monday, our own president has moved since Friday as if there is heavy traffic in the air. President Buhari governing this country is one of the most difficult realities to come to terms with. When ten citizens die in European countries, the president wherever he is, immediately moves back to his country to personally oversee state affairs. But this president....its alright |
FrLukas:@bold, you're correct sir. Very lucid. Its very disturbing that most commentators here don't know the distinction between the two terms, as elementary as they are. But these same people are quick to give expert opinion on foreign affairs on matters in far away China or Cambodia |
Minuli:God bless you. Most Nairalanders don't know anything judging from the definitions/explanations given so far, but they are quick to form expertise in Political analysis and foreign affairs. |
sweetgala:I'm surprised you don't know the meaning of Family House. I did not say Shekau's house, and don't call me a liar again |
Abfinest007:God bless you sir Modified: soldiers are always in the habit of burning down communities in the Niger Delta when their men get killed. Same cannot be said of the numerous soldiers that have died in the North. ABUBAKAR Shekau's family house is still standing tall despite killing hundreds of soldiers. For these soldiers that burn down the livelihood of innocent people because of revenge, Death await them too.... We cannot continue like this in this country, where there are different laws for different people in same country |
LOMBARDY:The Bold is not true. I guess you don't really know the details of the JCPOA. Trump's argument is that the deal should also include Iran halting their financial support for proxies in the middle east (Hamas, Hezbollah etc and other terrorist organisations) Secondly, he also wants the deal to include Iran halting their production of ICBMs (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles). My brother, if you care about your country as POTUS, you would not want IRAN to have ICBMs. Stopping their Nuclear Program is not enough, because Iran would still look for other ways to deliver WMDs to Los Angeles or Las Vegas when they begin to acquire ICBMs. It is in the interest of the US, Europe and the civilised world to ensure Iran don't acquire those capabilities, especially now that they have the financial leverage to force Iran into submission. Trump and Obama may have their disagreements but don't be too emotional to think Trump is the bad guy. America as a country is a bully for right or wrong reasons; that includes Obama. |
Emilokoiyawon:Aptly put. The tag given to this herders menace is very troubling.... Such as Farmers/Herders Clashes. I don't remember any incident where farmers clash with Herders. I only see farmers murdered by herdsmen in their numbers |
joefelin2345:What are you saying? |
Two rogues Nigerians love those that destroy them....Stockholm Syndrome. Iranians are protesting to register their displeasure over their government's handling of shooting down a foreign plane that also killed their compatriots.....calling for the leader to resign But here in Nigeria, Nigeria Airforce bombed a IDP camp killing over 200 citizens they swore to protect, nobody acted like something happened. We don't know who pulled the trigger, we don't know who identified the target, we don't know who gave the command. |
At least Nairalanders go let the female actresses rest small. Man don build better house. Abi ona go talk say this one use anus? |
Openbusiness:The IRGC never said firing the shot or hitting the plane was a mistake, they are calling the 'INTENT' a mistake. The IRGC commander said the operator thought the plane was a Cruise Missile heading toward them....which may be proven to be a blatant lie. That plane left their own airport, and was brought down in a matter of minutes, which means the plane was not in a course of re-entry. The only mistake I see here is that Iran fired on their own citizens, but was happy firing on the plane because it belongs to a western ally |
virago:What is logical about what you said, and the religious one you are referring to? The same God you're making attempt to ridicule in your defence of the prophetess, is the same God the prophetess is believed to serve.....this is more of a contradiction of thoughts My logical is premised on what the Bible said. Equally, your analogy and comparison is premised on what the Bible said too. I'm only trying to broaden your scope of reasoning by looking at other possible scenarios. The woman is called a prophetess because she sees people with bad intentions before they strike. Now, seeing it and deciding to do something or doing nothing to prevent it is a totally different scenario. From your logic, does it mean she saw it but decided to do nothing concerning her own people that are desirous of taking her ministry and offering monies that she labored so hard to build?? Mind you, our long talk must, and will always be within the framework of the case report "a prophetess was poisoned to death by her own pastors to take over her ministry" In this case, I believe she never wanted anybody, not even her pastors to acquire her sweat illegally, hence her junior pastors getting rid of her illegally. |
Iran just turned everything on their own head. Like Buhari, in a matter of days, Iran has wasted the massive public good will. They are the ones on the run now |
Kingray10:A surgeon that does not know where anus is, that surgeon needs to answer certain questions |
dairykidd:I strongly believe you're the one that needs to apply common sense here. If we are talking about the prophetess dying in an auto crash or something of that sort, then you can make a case for this lame submission.... If it is a natural occurrence, that's a different thing What is the mistake or error of being a human that a prophetess could not see her own people giving her poison to eat because they want to take over her church. Your concern should be on the intent of those that killed her. She's a prophetess because she sees people with evil intents like her followers. Anything short of that, then questions need to be answered |
virago:Your comment is not a rational one. Right from the days of Isaiah, the Holy Book said Christ will be born and die for a purpose. Jesus saw his death, even said it to the hearing of his followers, including Judas. It is only logical to say that Jesus did not prevent his own because his birth and death was meant for a divine purpose. If he wanted to prevent it, he could have done the simplest thing of running away from Israel, maybe to a place like Nigeria, that would have saved everything. What is this woman's purpose for dying now? Since the claim is that they poisoned her because of offering and tithe money.... Stop making spurious allegations and claims. The earlier commentator you mentioned raised a critical issue that needed your logical reasoning but unfortunately you bypassed your own self |
iamforeveryoung:You cleverly avoided the question. Christ saw his own and even said it to the hearing of those that followed him, including Judas. Your claim of Jesus still died even after everything is an entirely different discussion because his own death was to fulfil a divine purpose like the Bible said. From the write up, the claim is that the prophetess was poisoned by her own people to take over her ministry yet she did not see it coming but still went ahead to swallow whatever they gave her to eat. A prophetess that cannot see a common poison needs to answer some questions, because I'm sure she prophesied the death or travails of many people |
GreyLaw:My brother, I have to agree with you. Most people don't understand that Equality is just Utopia....its just an imaginary world that is never achievable. Even in heaven, we have higher angels. When one is a member of the higher class, there are certain privileges you enjoy that ordinary people cannot (whether good or evil) The US did not get to where they are today by simply appointing themselves the leader of the world, they actually worked for it. That is how it has been from Egypt; Babylonia; Rome; Britain; US etc and possibly China in the future. If you don't like America, you don't just go about showing emotions or looking for sympathy over the whole place, you simply go and work on yourself. Whether America is doing the right thing or not, they are going to remain here for a long time. Thanks again for the beautiful insight you gave above |
Techdra:I think you did sir |
Techdra:Apart from the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, the Iraq government formally invited US special forces to help battle ISIL/ISIS in 2014. The US already pulled up field combat operations before then. They were only training local forces |
donbachi:Funny man |
This is the reason why I don't feel a thing when they get killed. Security Forces always punishing and killing those they are paid to protect. Death to any police or military that does not know his work. Those that are yet to experience their abuse will never understand |
Buhari's appointments are like waking up to see your nose on your body everyday. There are no surprises anymore |
Nothing much is going to change despite the outcry. The Legislature and Executive is in it together. Its a quid pro quo...you rub my back I rub yours. Give us 37 billion for renovation of NASS (our pockets), and get 30 billion dollars loan approval |
itsme01:Thank you my brother. Religious people are too preoccupied with useless things. These same people screaming Bible Bible don't even do what is in the Bible. This same MFM kill millions of people with their mouths on Daily basis basis despite the fact that Jesus instructed us to pray for our enemies to repent. When you throw this line at them now, they begin to say 'Suffer not a witch to live' Hypocrisy is why this country is not moving forward. Lawmakers make laws they themselves are not ready to obey, a man of God preach what they themselves are not ready to do, a teacher would tell his students not to cheat but he cheated to become a teacher |
itsme01:Oga, correct your statement. Christmas is not a pagan feast, rather December 25th was. Celebrating a sun god on December 25th does not amount to Christmas, likewise celebrating Christmas on December 25th does not amount to Christmas being a pagan feast. Don't let these hypocritical pastors to deceive you.... Is it not a win win situation that Christmas came to discourage certain people from serving a sun god? Would they rather wish that a certain group of people continue to believe and worship a Sun god till today? If we are to take this wannabe pastors serious, what is their motive for going to villages to convert traditional worshippers to Christianity, if not to bring people to Jesus. This so called pastors celebrate Father's Day, Mother's Day, Children's Day, World Cancer Day, World Aids Day, and they even use that medium to collect special offering to the tune of thousands. Or is it Noah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, David, Ezekiel, abi Joseph the carpenter that said they should celebrate Father's Day? Or is it Elizabeth, Hannah, Esther abi Mary that asked them to celebrate Mother's Day in the Church, where they cunningly collect monies from the congregation through special offerings. My brother, Celebrating Christmas on December 25th is the biggest Evangelical and Conversion work done by Christianity till date. These pastors should be more concerned why they have MFM, REDEEMED, WINNERS, DEEPER LIFE with different brands of Jesus. They should tell us whether it is Jesus that instructed them |
