"And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed".

The third results of Paul and Silas's praising God was that the foundations of the prison were shaken.

Whenever you engage the weapon of praises, God deals with foundational problems that you may have.

As you begin to sing songs of praises aggressively today to God, He will uproot your problems from their foundation.

Matthew 15:13 (KJV)
"But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up".

Whatever God has not planted in your life : aches, pains, diseases, sicknesses, poverty, curses, evil dreams etc, will be uprooted out of your life as you start praising God from now.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. My God, shake the foundation of my problems.
2. Use Matthew 15:13 to pray, that the Lord will uproot whatever God didn't plant in your life.
3. Cover yourself with the blood of Jesus Christ.
4. Thank God for answers to your prayers.

As Paul and Silas sang songs of praises to God, there was an unexpected manifestations of God's power which caused a great earthquake.

God dwells in praises.

Psalm 22:3 (KJV)
"But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel".

Anytime you engage in praising God, you are inviting Him to come down into the atmosphere of praises.

And He will come and dwell wherever there is praises.

Any wherever God dwells, He will literally manifest His glory and power.

And when God manifests His glory and power, there will be answers to prayers, blessings, breakthrough, deliverance, healings, provisions etc.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. Oh Lord, deliver me from anxieties and worries.
2. In Jesus Name, I decree my fears will not happen.
3. My God, let Your power manifest in my situation today.
4. Father, turn my situation around for my testimony

*Whenever you sing praises to God, you will get sudden results.*

*Unusual and unexpected results always follows praises.*

Psalm 126:1 (KJV)
"When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream."

The above scripture, talks about a major supernatural turn around that looks like a dream.

*You will receive miracles like a dream, if you will begin to praise God.*

_The Almighty God has more than a thousand ways He can solve the same problem._

Don't bother yourself how He will solve it, rather switch to praising Him.

1. For at least 10 minutes, sing songs to God in your dialect.
2. Pray that the Lord will give you unexpected miracles today.
3. Father, help me beyond my efforts today.
4. Ask God for miracles that will look like a dream.

Praise also means to worship God.
You can use the numerous names of God to praise Him.
You can use His many titles to worship Him.

You can use God's acts or miracles to praise Him.

Praise is powerful. Praise is an unbeatable spiritual weapon.

Praise is an invitation to God to intervene in your life affairs.

Paul and Silas really sang praises aggressively to such an extent that the other prisoners heard them.

They didn't sing casually or as if they were seeking sympathy, they sang songs of praises to God vehemently.

After Paul and Silas switched on to praise, these results followed.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. Holy Spirit stir me up to worship the Lord.
2. Use the Names of God you know to praise Him.
3. Thank God that you are alive.
4. For at least 10 minutes thank God for all past blessings.

After Paul and Silas prayed, and it seemed like nothing happened. They did something else.

*They sang praises. When prayer fails, try praise.*

Have you prayed over anything and it seems that the answers to your prayers are not forthcoming as you had expected.

Don't get discouraged, don't give up, don't quit, nor worry.

*Try praise. Switch your prayers to praises.*
Praise could be one of the missing links.

To praise God implies : to acknowledge God, to describe or express to God in words or songs how you see Him.

*PRAYER POINTS :*
1. In Jesus Name, I rebuke every manipulation of discouragement from my life.
2. Oh Lord, I put on the garment of praise.
3. Spend at least 10 minutes to sing songs of thanksgiving to God.

"And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me".

That scripture above says, what your reaction should be in the day of trouble. It says, you are to call upon the Lord.

The word "call" implies that you cry to God desperately.
Don't just pray casually, pray vehemently, pray wholeheartedly.

And the Almighty God promised to deliver you, so that you will have testimony to glorify Him.

As you pray sincerely today, the Lord will answer you and deliver. You will have testimonies.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. In Jesus Name, I reject every spirit of worries from my life.
2. For at least 10 minutes, sing songs of praises to God.
3. Pray that God will give you victory over every siege against your progress.

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all."

The above confirms that even the righteous do have afflictions.

Affliction implies : adversity, distress, misery, problems, troubles.

These afflictions could be in the areas of your career, destiny fulfillment, health, business, finances, marriage etc.

But the promise of the Almighty God is that He will deliver you from all afflictions.

I might not know the details of the challenges you are facing right now, but I surely know that the Lord promised to deliver you from all those afflictions.

PRAYER POINTS :
(1). Thank God for all His faithfulness to you in the past.
(2). Spend at least 10 minutes to sing songs of praises to God.
(3). For 5 minutes, tell God your burdens.
(4). Thank God for answers to your prayers.

THE MISSING LINKS. (1).

Acts 16:25-27 (KJV)
"And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled".

In the above scripture, Paul and Silas were cast into prison.
It was the "midnight" moment of their lives.

Midnight symbolizes the dark moments of life.
Moments when situation appears bleak and hopeless.

Everyone has a midnight moment in life.
Those are periods of challenges, crisis and problems.

PRAYER POINTS :
(1). Oh Lord, show me Your mercies, in Jesus Name.
2. Father, deliver me from all my problems.
3. In Jesus Name, I cast all my cares upon the Lord.
4. Spend at least 5 minutes, mention specifically the challenges you have to God in prayer.

26. While fasting, you are looking forward to the time to break the fast, rather than engaging in prayers. It shows prayerlessness.

27. Prayerlessness is when prayer becomes boring to you.

There is always a cloud of unusual heaviness on you not to pray.

28. When you are blaming others for your prayer failures.
It is a sign of prayerlessness.

29. When you are discouraged to pray.

You have become overwhelmed with your problems and the negative things around you.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, give me more grace to fast as I pray.
2. In Jesus Name, I receive the discipline to fast.
3. As I pray let the heavens be opened to hear me.
4. I refuse to be discouraged from praying.

WEAK PRAYER LIFE. (9).

21. When you cannot keep awake at night, to personally pray for quality hours, it is a sign of prayerlessness.

22. It is prayerlessness when you cannot sustain praying for long time, praying through on a prayer point.

E.g, you cannot stay on a prayer point, praying for at least one hour.

23. When you cannot back up your prayer with fasting, it is prayerlessness.

24. Whenever you are always giving flimsy excuses why you cannot fast.

25. It is a sign of prayerlessness, whenever you are fasting, you cannot concentrate to pray.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. Father, grant the discipline to pray at night.
2. Oh Lord, I want to spend longer time in prayers daily.
3. Lord, I receive grace to fast as I pray.
4. My God and Father, show me Your mercies.

17. Praying only when you have a need.

There are people whose prayer life only consist of personal needs.

No quality time of praises, worship and thanksgiving to God.

18. Prayerlessness is when you are easily distracted and interrupted by other activities while praying.

You claim you are praying, yet you engage in WhatsApp chats and you pick phone calls while praying.

19. A wandering mind during prayers is a sign of a weak prayer altar.

That implies, you cannot concentrate on your prayers.

20. Prayerlessness is when you can only pray while in the church service.
You cannot pray alone.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. Oh Lord, deliver me from distractions affecting my prayer life.
2. I ask for grace to be more prayerful.
3. Holy Spirit, help me to concentrate while praying.
4. Father, make me more fervent in prayers.

WEAK PRAYER LIFE. (7).

12. Prayerlessness is when you wake up in the morning and your first activity for the day, is to read the newspapers and magazines.

13. Taking your breakfast for the day before you spend quality time to pray, is a sign of prayerlessness.
That shows misplaced priority.

14. When you forget about your prayer time for the day.

That is not just a sign of prayerlessness, but serious symptoms of spiritual backsliding.

15. Praying survival prayers, is a symptom of prayerlessness.

Survival prayer implies, you only pray whenever you have a major problem.

Prayer becomes an emergency means to get out of problems.
Rather than praying as a life style.

16. Spending more time with your prayerless friends, rather than praying.

You can spend hours gisting with your friends on useless and unedifying issues rather than praying.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. Lord, deliver me from every distractions against my prayer life.
2. I decree, from now my prayer life will be my priority.
3. Oh Lord, restore my prayer life.
4. Holy Spirit connect me with prayerful friends.

9. When you only pray when it is convenient for you.

That is prayerlessness. You are full of other activities, you are very busy and have excuses why you don't have the time to pray.
You only pray when you are less busy.

10. When prayer is not your daily priority.

You resort to prayer as the last item on your day's program.

11. Sleeping when you should be praying.

Matthew 26:40 (KJV)
"And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?"

Whenever you are sleeping like the disciples in the above scripture, while you ought to be praying, it implies you are prayerless.

You must battle and win the spirit of excessive sleep against your prayer life.

You need both the grace and discipline to overcome sleep, so as to pray.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. Father, help me to take my prayer life seriously.
2. Oh Lord, let prayer become my life priority.
3. My God, deliver me from excessive sleep against my prayer life.
4. I receive grace to be more prayerful.

6. When you always depend on others to draft prayer points for you before you can pray.

You don't know prayer points to pray upon, except someone else tells you the prayer points.

7. Prayerlessness is when you always need someone else to get you the Bible scriptures to use to pray.

You are not familiar with bible scriptures to use to pray out the prayer points.

And you are lazy to use the Bible concordance by yourself and get the relevant bible scriptures to use in prayers.

8. When the time you spend in prayers decreases gradually, it is a symptom of prayerlessness.

When you have it on record that in time past, you used to pray for longer time or hours, but now you spend less time in prayers.
That is prayerlessness.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. Holy Spirit, I want to develop a strong personal prayer life.
2. Holy Spirit teach me how to pray.
3. Holy Spirit give me scriptures to use to pray.
4. Oh Lord, I want to spend more time in prayer.

Continued From Yesterday.

3. When you do not enjoy praying, it is a sign of prayerlessness.

When you are not comfortable with prayers and the act of praying, whenever you are in the atmosphere of prayers. It is an evidence of prayerlessness.

Prayerlessness is when you are not excited to pray. You don't like praying.

4. Prayerlessness implies, you are lazy to pray.

You are not stirred up to pray. You easily avoid praying.
You give excuses to justify your inability to pray.

5. When you are always seeking others to pray for you on everything and at all times, it indicates that you are prayerless.

When your life depands on hired prayer contractors, rather than you praying through by yourself.
