GOD'S PRESCRIPTIONS. (4).

Continued From Yesterday.

"Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church".

God knows believers in Christ maybe sick at one time or the other.
Maybe due to over use of the body, stress, ignorant of their healing and health rights from the scriptures.

Whenever you are sick, God prescription is that you call for the pastor to anoint you and pray for you.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. In Jesus Name, I bind every spirits of sicknesses and rebuke them out of my body.
2. I receive my healing in Jesus Name.
3. In Jesus Name, I confess, henceforth, I am healthy.
4. I declare, I shall not die.

"Is any merry? Let him sing psalms". James 5:13-14.
To merry implies, to be joyous, glad, to be cheerful.

I do pray for you, you will have continuous reasons to be joyous from now, in Jesus Name.
God prescribed that when you have reasons to merry, you should celebrate it with singing.

God loves songs. Songs are invitation to the Almighty God to come down into your life and situation.

Psalm 22:3 (KJV)
"But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel".

God dwells in praises. When you engage in heart felt singing of songs to God, you saturate the atmosphere to activate God's presence to manifest.

I encourage you to begin your day with giving God quality worship by singing songs to Him.

2. In Jesus Name, I decree, I will not be bereaved.

Psalm 34:19 (KJV)
"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all".

The scripture above, promises that the Lord will deliver us from all our afflictions.

Whenever you are afflicted, the book of James 5:13 prescribes what you are to do.
It says, "PRAY".

Whenever you are afflicted, don't get discouraged, don't give up, don't complain nor murmur.
Rather pray.

Whenever you are confronted with afflictions in any areas of your life, declare a prayer retreat.
Withdraw and pray.
Prayer is God's prescription for afflictions.

1. My Lord, deliver me from every sufferings I am having.
2. In Jesus Name, I rebuke the spirit of discouragement from my life.
3. Holy Spirit help me to be prayerful in my trying moments.

GOD'S PRESCRIPTIONS. (1)

James 5:13-14 (KJV)
"Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord".

The word "afflicted" implies, hardship, to suffer, be troubled.

The book of James was written to believers in Christ.
Apostle James knew believers in Christ may have challenges which cause hardships, sufferings and troubles. Believers maybe afflicted in their minds, bodies, health, finances etc.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. In Jesus Name, I repent from every sins that has exposed me to afflictions.
2. Lord Jesus Christ, I accept You as my Lord and Savior.

The Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated this.

It was as Jesus prayed, that the heaven opened.
We as His believers and followers, can also exercise the power of prayer to open the heaven.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father".

If you and I will pay the prize of prayer, we can exercise such unlimited power in prayer, to bind and to loose.

"Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven".

Your prayer can prevail over evil forces around you and make you experience victory which cannot be challenged.

Genesis 25:21 (KJV)
"And Isaac intreated the Lord for his wife, because she was barren: and the Lord was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived".

Rebekah was barren. Barrenness implies fruitlessness.
But Isaac, Rebekah's husband, knew the potency of prayer.

Isaac knew that prayer is the key that can unlock the barren womb.
Prayer can open anything barren.
Barren businesses, destinies, womb, life endeavours etc, can all be opened by the key and power of prayer.

You can exercise your faith on these scriptures and use them to pray for the opening of the barren womb.

Exodus 23:26 (KJV)
"There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil".

Deuteronomy 7:14 (KJV)
"Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle".

The God of Isaac, who answered his prayer and opened the womb of his wife and the wife conceived, will do similar miracles for you.

God will open whatever is barren in your life and there will be fruitfulness.

Prayer is the secret to supernatural encounter with the Lord.
If you want the Lord to appear to you, then pray.
No one has the monopoly of the Lord's appearance, once you will pray.

Prayer is a way of developing a personal, one on one fellowship with the Almighty God.

God has no grand children and no one is to be a mediator between you and God, once you are genuinely born again through the Lord Jesus Christ.

In the above scripture, it was in the session of prayer, that the Lord spoke to Abram and gave him a promise.

"And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land".

Prayer is the secret to hearing God's voice.
When you spend quality time with the Lord in prayer and you listen as you pray, you will definitely, hear His voice.

It is in the session of prayer, you will receive revelation about God's destiny and promise for your life.
When you pray and read the Bible, the rhema of God will come alive to you.

Abraham maintained his prayer life by regularly building altars unto the Lord.

From the above scripture, we see that prayer is the key to access the presence of the Almighty God.
If you will pray, then you can boldly come into the throne of grace.

Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

And at the throne of grace, you will receive mercy and find grace to help you.

Mercy cancels the punishments you deserve, while grace bestows upon you the blessings and favour you don't merit.

"And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined."

The Lord is bringing you into your season of "a feast of fat things".


The Messager Bible Translation of Psalm 23:5 says, "six-course dinner"
I see you entering your season of banquet and feast.

One aspect of this supernatural surplus provision, it is right in the presence of your enemies, that God is providing for you.

That implies, your enemies cannot hinder nor stop God's provision for you.
It also implies, your enemies powers are paralyzed and rendered impotent against you.

Revelation 3:8 (KJV)
"I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name."

That above scripture talks about supernatural breakthrough, open door and provision which none of your enemies can stop.
You are unstoppable.
Stop living in the consciousness and fears of your enemies.

Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

When God provides, He provides in excess, because He is not a stingy God and He has all resources in His hands.
God provides according to His own riches, not according to human resources. So He is not limited by the human or physical resources.

He can and He will end every scarcity in your life.
He will put an end to every fruitless struggles in your life.

He will arrange before you prepared breakthrough and provisions to meet your needs. He will prepare a table of provision before you.
God won't give you just "a plate" of meal, but "a table" of meal.

Continued From Yesterday.

5. Obsessed With Self Destructive Habits.

There are people who helplessly engaged in self destructive habits.

Though they know that the habits they are practicing are injurious to their health and a threat to their lives, yet are in severe bondage to the habits.

For instance, on the packet of cigarettes, it is written boldly, "smoking is injurious to your health ".
Yet smokers read this, buy the cigarette and smoke it.

It is a great obsession when you know what is injurious to your health, yet you engage in it.

Alcohol is also injurious to health, yet people are in captivity to the habits of taking it, because the demons of self destructive is behind it.
There was a man, who engaged in self destruction of himself.

Mark 5:5 (KJV)
"And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones".

He was cutting himself with stones, because there was the demon of obsession working on him.

PRAYER POINTS :
1. My God, deliver me from destructive habits.
2. Holy Spirit help me to develop edifying habits.
3. Lord, strengthen me to daily read my Bible.
4. Holy Spirit develop my prayer life.
