I don't think manual vehicles have Over drive function. As for Cruise control, I think the manual transmission has to be in top gear like gear 4 or 5.

I dunno about all these op, I have been serving since last year October, never been to my PPA, recently started going for CDS coz of threats of query. I have been receiving my allowance and also doing my business jejely. I think it’s a total waste of time to be too invested in NYSC.

That light comes up usually every 5k miles or so depending on the vehicle manufacturer.. it's from the ECU and can't be reprogrammed.
You can however time your servicing to coincide with the 5k miles.. if you're servicing every 3k miles or so. It will overlap at around 1.95k miles or so.

I don't think is properly reset bro, make sure you get it done in your next servicing.. that's the only thing that can makes the light comes up..even if their is no more oil in your engine it's only the oil light that will signal it on your dashboard.. maintenance required is only for car servicing..

I noticed that my maintenance required light started blinking last week and I felt there was a shortage in the oil gauge, as of now the light is steadily on and my mileage is at 1900 and it's properly gauged.

Please, what could be the cause of this?
