dwas: It actually grief my soul when some people black mail good things. Im not a member of redeemed church, but i've heard the G.o says the school was primarily setup for full time pastor children whose 3 children from each pastor is entitled to scholarship from primary to tertiary institution.typical of the mentality of a bona fide church eeeeeDIOT.... They copy and paste the babbles of their "Daddy Ajibole" |
papatosibe: Thank God there is "chinko" around to supervise all these dumb home based Nigerians.you are living proof that some Africans screwed Kangaroos....like what da'4ck is that for ? |
dare2think: Ummm! Dude you already act like a mugu, albeit an arrogant one.you took the words out of my mouth, mate. His unbriddled arrogance and lying tongue will make even Jesus shudder in disbelief that his creation could be so good at being dumb and yet arrogantly flaunt it like an award. Now I see the significance of that short and precise bible passage: Jesus WEPT!! Prolly cause of this Ignoramus here making a fool of himself. |
stagger: Where you go and whether or not you believe that they exist or not depends on you. No human being can convince anyone that they exist. There are people that have been preached to all their lives and they never accepted Christ or believed in a heaven or hell. I have seen a core Marxist who never believed in heaven or hell for almost 50 years despite countless preachings he had heard until he had a near death experience.hahahaha....what exactly is this pucci on about sef...you know nothing and do not know that you know nothing. Wake up dumbo!! And drop that Oyedepo pipe he stuck in your mouth, Jesus wants you to be high on the real $hiiiit!! |
2good: If people like you will go to the Christian heaven, then almost the whole world population will be there.hahahahahha....my God that got me reeling with laughter. |
stagger: You always have something silly to say. Tomorrow you will say it was Stagger that said it. I am too busy today to even attend to anything you have to say, because you always talk babash!did you just say BABASH?? What da heck is that Is that a new world they teach at CU? Hahahahahah..... next thing you are going to tell us is how you co-invented BABASH with some profs from Oxford....hahahaha...what a joke!! Resident Dumbo-in-Chief. |
stagger: That does not stop me from telling a man who is supposed to have brains but acting like a retard that he is one. Some of you think that being a born again Christian requires the person to recoil into his shell and act like a mugu. Sorry, you don jam rock!Hey Dumbo!! JESUS just phoned. HE hates you afterall...hahahahaha |
Timileyin: I pity this man and is story. You A̶̲̥̅®ε̲̣̣̣̥ just moving towards the part of destruction, A̶̲̥̅®ε̲̣̣̣̥ you really a christain or just a sunday church goer. You better close this story and go down on your kneels and re seTtle with God. The devil is using you and you A̶̲̥̅®ε̲̣̣̣̥ finding excuses and people to blame for it. Go and read about job, he loosed more than you did and God restored his happiness.Another eeeediot suffering from diarrhoea of the mouth and constipation of thoughts. If ignorance is bliss you must be the happiest person alive. Anyways, thankz, we are all refreshed and challenged by your unique point of view (sarcasm). |
SABMiller Africa has invest over US $150 million in building a new greenfield brewery in Onitsha,South Eastern Nigeria. A visit to the plant @ the Banks of the River Niger Inland Port will convince you. There is a MASSIVE and ongoing (OG) ..Poaching of NBrewery Heineken Top Brains... Just last month..the No1 Brewer in the World for 2011 Mr John Njoku ( http:// www.ibd.org.uk/qualifications/ awards/529/the-j-s-ford-award/ )was poached from Nigerian Breweries (NB Heineken)by SAB Miller. Mark Bowman, Managing Director of SABMiller Africa, commented: "Over the past five years we have invested over US $1 billion in Africa. Thisis an indication of our commitment to increase our capacity further and to consolidate our position as a leading international brewer on the African continent whilst contributing positively to the local communities in which we operate." |
ikechemez: Gigantic brewery indeed, naija drinking for life.what exactly is your point bro?? |
babapupa: You are yet to tell me what the picture is doing in the thread regardless of what you termed sarcasm?guy if you don't mind, take your whinning to the appropriate quarters abeg, you are indirectly derailing the essence of this thread. |
2good: Are you not suppose to be a born again Christian?Leave the eeeediot with his smugness, I deal with his ilks on daily basis, they think little better than a M'oron...lol |
Way to go Mr fashola. This is the only Governor I have enormous respect for his sincerity of purpose. Unlike most of the governors that are busy playing politics and wasting money useless projects, fashola has demonstrated a grasp of what needs to be done and is bold enough to do it even with the very hectic lagos politics. More greese to your elbo bro.....I am definitely going to be working in one of these places as an engineer soon. |
Better mehn, I will like to see a situation where development and industrialization is not entirely limited to Lagos alone. Seriously, Lagos is sucking opportunities even from neigbouring states like Ogun and Oyo states. There should be some spread across other states and regions too. This one is a big investment that can employ as much as 3000-4000 people, That's huge. Besides, Onitsha has always been a perculiar place with very many opportunities similar to Lagos. |
stagger: What makes this imbecilic post any different from when the police arrest innocent people, shoot them, then put guns beside them and brand them as robbers in front of the press cameras?admit it guy, you are a slowpoke that should not be taken seriously. Anyway, I am done discussing this with you, obviously, your I.Q is low plus you are a dubious person. Trying to reason with a character like yourself is a waste of my very import time. You can continue to wallow in your ignorance. |
oluwanoni: I went to CU, am proud tho; but u were not forced, abi leave d skl, Na wa O, Yes I do agree going 2 such skls can be very challenging, You can say that students from dere ar d worst type available both immoral n e.t.c I agree on dat, you change any person, they hv being dat way b4 addmission 2 d skl, like I said its challenging but I belive with dedication n hardwork without too much fuss over rules u would overcome! Am out aint I, n I hv d freedom 2 do what I wish (its just 4/5)yrs if even up 2 dat.hahahahahah....did you say you were a graduate of CU?? Nigga, you are an utter disgrace to the the school, your write up is shitty and incoherent. My lil niece in senior secondary school will articulate her points better not to talk of your childish logic. Incase it has not crossed ur little mind, those over 100 bank abi na church branches scattered all over Nigeria remit monies collected in their branches to the Head quarters, it is not like the HQ dishes out monies to these branches. So in essence, they first have to survive without any serioius input from the HQ and when they do, they are made to send profits to HQ, imagine the multiplication of the remittance? And yet you have the temerity to spew this gibberish like profiteering is not the order of the day with today's church biz. Imagine the eeediotic statements you made about your pastors flying around in Private jet to keep a check on their business centres and conquered territory, it only shows how irrational and moronic your thought process is. How old are you by the way, kiddo? |
kooto: I think this is more of a stolen/sold child,in a public place like a church/mosque any body can come in in the pretext of coming for worship, look for lapses and steal a child ,or an insider sold the girl to a buyer or a compensation to a relative living faraway(from experience not every body in the church or mosque are children of God; including workers ) particularly in a place with too many worshippers and children. I pray God will find the child and return her to her parents in peace. Now you are begining to sound like an investigative journalist. That child was taken by a regular face in the church, an unsuspecting member, more likely one of the teachers or a worker. It was an inside job. |
It all boils down to what I have always said about my fellow country men; an average Nigerian is religious and stupidly pius yet they are very dishonest in their dealings with others outside. Go to our banks, they are filled with pastor bankers yet they act in connivance with criminals to dishonestly keep people's salaries in a fix deposit for months only for it to accrue interests to be shared before paying people's salaries. This same religious conmen will stand at the pulpit and preach about honesty from both sides of their mouth. A man lost his daughter in the child department of a church under the watchful eyes of four appointed custodian teachers (who cares whether they were volunteers or not) and all the church could worry about was the emotional comfort of the prime suspects?? Na wa o!! I continue to maintain that there is something sinister about the claims that all the teachers left their classes at thesame time to attend the service when the child went missing. What an alibi.... Pure premeditated conincidence to exonerate themselves. These teachers private lives should be investigated, I wont be surprised if one of them is a child trafficker. The man himself just realised his folly in assuming that their "Papa" is beyond reproach and has God-like powers to find his child when he told him that "he saw no evil after his child disappearance. What a fucking placebo!! The fact a child went missing in a church is evil, what a superficial statement to make. Obviously, the scales just came off his eyes a little too late that like everyone else, Oyedepo sleeps, breathe thesame air, have thesame urges, can get uncontrolably angry, he farts and shits and yeah it smells like everyone else's crap. He is no God, neither is he infallible or beyond human errors. We all need to realise this truth and fact of life, may be if the man had come to this realization early enough, he would have notified the police and taken Winners chapel and her host of hypocrites to the court where they will be subjected to the scrutiny of the Nigerian Law and not the bible where they can have a field day manipulating verses and chapters to their own benefits. Religion has realy messed up a lot of people's ability to apply common sense when and where neccessary. |
stagger: What stopped the police from interrogating the church workers? Do they live in the church? Don't they have addresses?Like I suspected, you are a dubius fanatic that deliberately has chosen to be blind to evidences that show that your Conman Papa and his gang of church men have been interfering with investigations by the police. See how you contradict yourself with your lies and the shyte you spew here; shebi na U open that mouth you take dey chop shyte say the nigerian justice system is bad and can easily be influenced by the likes of your daddy G.o Oledepo who have the wherewithal to control our very dubious and insincere police force and roguish justice system. You know all these and continue to play dumb to the obvious and keep asking dumb questions that show how you can easily turn the truth on its head like a criminal will do. You are just like an average Nigerian anyway, stoopidly religious with a cultivated sense of piety yet extremely dishonest in their dealings with others. They will act holier than thou in church yet out side with others, they are extremly dishonest, they are no different from the so-called unbelievers, they show no compassion for others and arrogantly attribute their success to hardwork and God when we all know that it is through ruthless business practices and shady dealings that negatively affect other people's lives they got their wealth, at least your MOG is a perfect example of the typecast and his handling of this particular case and numerous others only emphasize my points. Keep lying to yourself until prolly you will fall victim too and all you will get as justice from your conman will be for you to pray harder. Buncha religious Conartistes worst than politicians and armed criminals. |
Lmao!! Another Classic Papa defending move from the Sheeples - BLAME THE VICTIM Now the poor mother, who following CHURCH ORDERS, left her children in CHILDREN'S CHURCH to be taken care of by CHURCH WORKERS is to blame for her lost child, yes? You people are amazing!!! Abeg oh, Aunty wa tell us. . .Where did you see that she sat down crying? Na you give am chair siddon? I tell ya this Papa Worshiping Sheeples are something else. They see what isn't there and turn a blind eye to what is really is. I think if Purpose and Stagger combined their eye sights and reading comprehension we just might have half of a reasonable person.
u dey mind that mumu wey dey split hair dey look for reasons to exonerate their rogue papa. It is very clear to me that Winners Chapel knows what happened to that child. It is a premeditated coincidence that all the four teachers went for service at thesame time the child was abducted without anyone noticing it, no resistance from the child too....that to me shows the child prolly knows the face of the person that took her into captivity, it was a face she was comfortable with, a known face she recognized and was used to. They should look into the private activities of the teachers, it is possible there is a closet child predator, child trafficker and the likes amongst them. The church prolly knows about it....there should be full investigation here, especially starting with the teachers and their private lives then to the people in the church management that have been making deliberate effort to thwart any process that will aid in finding praise. No sacred cows and no stoopid excuses....the results will be shocking I know. |
Frendys: Your intention is wrong and short sighted. If at this stage of your life you have become articulate at undermining your institution openly then you will never see good in anyone or anything else. You are doomed because you have no sense of gratitude and value. Public institutions are no different or better. You are worse than a móro'n Mr. You are not any different from these rogues that use the bible to fleece people. You are prolly angry because unlike the brainwashed majority like yourself, the kid has refused to be tamed into a docile, mind programmed religious robot like you. If every sphere of one's life was all about reading the pages of the bible before succeeding the whole of Nigeria would have been better off morally and economically? We wont be reckoned with scam and corruption as a nation. Instead of you addressing the issues that the kid raised, you rather chose to busy yourself with insult laced sermon and stoopid ego boosting anecdote of your fictitious cousins that attended CU and his claims of working in one of the fortune 100s as if all that gibberish was related to the topic being discussed. What an eeeeeediot!! Incase the kid's article went over your head, he was trying to say:"Where is the fairness in making their parents pay so much as school fees for quality education only to get sheer mediocrity at its peak in the guise of a faith based knowledge. How does knowing the bible from Gen to Rev help you get a decent job? How come they obsess themselves with useless policies that have little or no bearing on improving their academic excellence only for them to be trivializing the main issues that will affect their performance and better their academic excellence. Did their parents pay all that money for them to learn the church's set-morals? What kind of bullshit are you sipping sef..... |
purpose100: rhymz:na only you read where the woman siddon dey cry as she dey wait for her husband. The husband found his wife in the vicinity of the child department prolly as she too was frantically looking for their daughter. So what exactly is your point? |
stagger: Precisely what I have also been saying. I also do not know why the police did not investigate this matter, though in Nigeria, we all know what police investigation is all about. And we also know that people buy judgements in court, else Erastus Akingbola would not be a free man today.Obviously, you have decided to deliberately be blind to the fact that that child may have been kidnapped by one of the teachers with the connivance of an influential person in the top management of the church. Did I percieve any disbelief or doubt from you? Ok read this part of that article that the OP did not incude: Thwarting police investigation The case was later reported by the church’s Chief Security Officer, Supol Cosmas, at the Police Area Command in Onipanu, Sango-Ota in Ogun State, where one Ijeoma Lawal was assigned as the Investigating Police Officer (IPO). A source at the police station said that Samuel was questioned but the four teachers directly connected to Praise’s disappearance were prevented from making statements. The source also claimed that a call had comefrom a senior pastor of the church asking the police not to interrogate the teachers because they had volunteered for the job and should not be put through any hassles. “The caller told the police that the church will handle the matter themselves and the four teachers were promptly released,” said the source. After there appeared to be no headway in the efforts to find Praise, Samuel said he became disturbed and suggested that the case be made public. With photographs of his missing daughter and his wife in tow, Samuel got an interviewat the Africa Independent Television (AIT) in Alagbado, Lagos. But when Samuel’s plea to the public for information aired on the station, the broadcaster gave the impression that Praise had disappeared at the couple’s Satellite Town residence, and not the Winners Chapel. “I called the AIT man named Desmond to complain and he told me that was the instruction he received from the church. Even the IPO called me to say that she watched the broadcast and was shocked at what was reported,” he said. Samuel added that his complaints about the AIT broadcast to the church were also not taken seriously. “Is it a sin for me to go to a church of God with my family? This is a year that my child disappeared under the church’s custody. How can I go to AIT only to have a different thing shown? How can the church interfere with police investigation?” He asked. Samuel claimed that, in the same week his child got missing, he had suggested that thefour affected voluntary teachers be invited for questioning with Lawal in attendance. But none of the voluntary teachers nor the Investigating officer showed up for the meeting as the Elengs and a neighbour, one Blessing, who had accompanied the couple, waited in vain. Also, last August when Samuel had gone to visit Lawal, he said he was welcomed with congratulatory messages from police officers at the police station, who claimed tohave received a call from the church informing them that Praise had been found and that the case be withdrawn. In the same month, thoroughly dissatisfied with the way his church was handling the matter, coupled with the meddling, Samuel took matters in his own hands. One Sunday, Samuel said he went to the Church’s Children Department and bared his anger by declaring that no kid should go in unless his daughter was found. Samuel said his attitude was promptly reported to Oyedepo, who warned him neverto go near the Children’s department again. Before then, according to Samuel, Oyedepo was in constant communication with him, but since the classroom incident, “he stopped taking my calls and no more talk about my missing daughter.” Calls for more prayer Samuel said he did not meet Oyedepo again until recently when they met on April 12, 2012, almost a year since his child was missing. “I told him (Oyedepo) that my child was still missing and he said ‘be prayerful, the Lord will strengthen you and your child will be found’,” Samuel said. A source at the church however claimed thata handful of church members, including Cosmas, who also doubles as Aide-de-camp to Oyedepo, are making efforts to find Praise. The source also said that series of meetings were recently held by the church, where the four teachers were invited. When called to confirm the report, Lawal declined to comment on the issue, saying, “please, don’t involve me in the matter.” Cosmas also denied any knowledge of the incident, appearing to be more interested in how Daily Times got his number. However, Desmond confirmed that Praise’s disappearance was reported and broadcasted by the television station a year ago. And you say the police did not do anything? You better be honest with yourself cos U seem to me like a dubious fanatic. |
This is what I have always complained about, our churches are run by gangstar pastors that care more about the image of their church and the ill-wealth it has amassed for them, just like gangstars they show no compassion or regards for other peopl's feelings, it is all business to them and must be treat as such. I am particularly irked by the fact that the the four teachers (prime suspects) directly connected to Praise’s disappearance were prevented by the church from making statements and giving full details of what actually happened. The church cared more about the comfort of the teacher's involved than getting information from them that could help find little praise without considering the fact that one of these teachers could actually be involved in child trafficking and kidnap. As if that was not enough, the man's attempt to make it public on AIT was also thwarted by the powers that be from the church. Imagine them giving instructions to the TV station to twist the fact of the kids disappearance and give the false impression that the kid went missing in their home and not in the custody of the church care givers. It is obvious from the way the church has continuously made deliberate effort to interfare in the investigations of the police that there is more to it than meet the eyes. There is a dimension to the whole saga that we are yet to look at. Is it possible the church is directly or indirectly involved with the disappearance of the kis because there is something creepy about the way the church and Oyedepo himself have handled the case. First, I understand that when parents drop their kids at the childrien's department they are given a tag which upon presentation to the teachers, their kids are identified and they are allowed to take them. Now if that is the case, how come it was easy for sombody else to pick the child without anyone noticing it? Every of the four custodian teacher claimed to have gone for service when it happened and therefore did not know how she left the department. This is also a question that begs for answers; Is it a regular occurance that all four teachers go for the service at thesame time even though they are supposed to be guarding the childrien in their care? Or was this a specially premedited case that allowed for an alibi? Is this not a fishy excuse? Let's be honest, whoever took that child was a known face that could not have caused any resistance from the child which could have caused a stir that would have been noticed by some of the childrien. Unless there is something sinister going on in the church why will the four teachers whom by the way (cos their alibi seem untrue) are prime suspects here be prevented from giving account of their stewardship. How come the church management wont let them be questioned? This is goes beyond protecting the church's image, there is something sinister going on here. How come Oyedepo himself did not see it neccessary to announce the child's disappearance in church, common sense tells you that missing cases are not treated as confidential. Why will Oyedepo continue to tell the man to pray when it was obvious that it was not prayers that was needed but a serious investigation that must include the teachers and even their pruvate activities or does he think they are all saints? Mr Sam should go to the court and get justice, the church knows where his child is, I strongly believe that it was a known face that took that child and the church may be in on it. Just must prevail. |
It has been over a year since Samuel Eleng and his wife, Favour, lost their two-year-old twin daughter at the Children’s department of the Canaan Land, Winners Chapel headquarters, Sango-Ota in Ogun State, and yet, there is no sign of the girl. The couple are still stunned by the mysterious disappearance of Praise on April 17, 2011, an Easter Sunday. Although the Church’s founder, David Oyedepo, was said to have shown support tothe family, however, Samuel alleged that theChurch had been meddling with the case to prevent it from going public. “We handed our girls, Praise and Glory, over to the school teachers under whose custody many other children were kept. They gave ustwo tags as proof that we had our children under their care for that day,” said Samuel. However, by the end of the church service, Praise had gone missing from the class in which she was left. Even the teachers in charge of the twin girls were not in sight, as they were said to have all gone for service as at the time the couple went to get their daughters. “I saw my wife around the vicinity of the Children’s section, she was crying. She told me that Praise was missing,” he said. Samuel said they eventually got hold of one of the four teachers supposedly in charge of the children’s class, who was also at a loss regarding the whereabouts of Praise. “She claimed not to know but advised us to check other classes. So we started moving around from class to class, around the church premises,” he continued. By then apprehensive but still hopeful, the couple waited until after the service and reported the matter to Oyedepo, who prayedand joined them in the search. “He (Oyedepo) walked with us to the Children’s department and after praying, he said he has not seen any evil signal,” Samuel said. However, a more frantic search for Praise was not successful as the hours harrowingly dragged on into days and months for the troubled family. “I was thinking so many things; how can I come to the house of God and my child will suddenly disappear? Even if it was time for rapture, how can it just pick my child only?” Samuel said. Thwarting police investigation The case was later reported by the church’s Chief Security Officer, Supol Cosmas, at the Police Area Command in Onipanu, Sango-Ota in Ogun State, where one Ijeoma Lawal was assigned as the Investigating Police Officer (IPO). The Elengs are now at a crossroad, torn between reverence for their church pastor whom they fondly call ‘Daddy’, and their filiallove for their child whom Samuel referred to as “our first fruit”. Also, the couple’s pain has recently been heightened by Glory’s constant queries about her missing sister.

stagger: Can you make a constructive suggestion to the parents of this child? I am yet to see one. |
Timileyin: Thank you jare, you were in chuch and your child Got missing, was it Oyedepo that came to carry your child. He told you he does not smell trouble. just believe.. you can still see you child. Its an attack from the devil to you and not the church. Pray sir. I understand how it feels to loose a child but? ....again may you lose all of your childrien to fictitious "attack of the devil". As you have shown insensitivity like your bible wielding conman, Oyedepo, na so God in heaven go take punish pass this one and ask you to pray. Stooopid 4ctard that deserves a bullet in the head. |
A lot of nonsense going on today in the name of God. Mind programming and brainwashing experiments going on in churches...now they have centres in the name of schools where they have the luxury of time and human samples to conduct their mind programming experiments on young tamed mind. In a matter of time, as evidenced in some of the posts here and in similar threads, we will have a large population of church tamed zombies in the mould of graduates, professionals, leaders, soldiers, citizens etc and in their various capacities they will force their myopic religious views, intolerance, look down on others with differing social make up and skills and in the process the cycles continues. It is high time the government looked into the kind of things that go on in these indoctrination centres. One of Nigeria's biggest problen today is religious intoleranc, yet the government allows religiously skewed Universities to prop up, nobody questions their method of imparting knowledge or the fact that there should be a balance between what is considered religious indoctrintion and secular knowledge. People should not be forced to learn the bible, that in itself is intolerance, religious piety should not be the basis of the academic pursuit in any school. Telling people to concentrate the better part of their academics on reading bible pages and summarising them is antithetical to the freedom of worship that the constitution stipulates. Adding religion as a compulsory prerequisite to every course of study is not only useless to non-christians but also to christians who are not there to study theology, it adds noting to their academic pursuits. Government should look into these things abeg. |
Timileyin: Everyone is entitled to there own opinion about religion, preaches or any topic, but hating or blastfaming a religion or a man of God, is just wrong and it leads to destruction. let people be and believe what they want. educate yourself before commenting about people or posting in general.will you get out of here with your studip and dumb advice before Amadioha plague those fingers of yours for posting this nonsense...make satan punish you there, fool! |
I am so angry at the moment that I can't seem to articulate my points on this one, I shall come back to give my own view on this case. But for now, I will make sure I generate enough awareness about this case until everyone knows what actually goes on in today's churches. |

It is important that we get the full story, I read the story the first time and felt there was something missing, so I went to google to get the full story and I understood why it was alleged that Oyedepo and his Church were trying to cover up the case, here is the remaining part of the story: Thwarting police investigation The case was later reported by the church’s Chief Security Officer, Supol Cosmas, at the Police Area Command in Onipanu, Sango-Ota in Ogun State, where one Ijeoma Lawal was assigned as the Investigating Police Officer (IPO).
u dey mind that mumu wey dey split hair dey look for reasons to exonerate their rogue papa.
