lagerwhenindoubt:what a very stewpid and naive statement to make. Have you ever worked in any Nigerian factory before? Or do you know of any factory here in Nigeria where foreigners working there earn less than their Nigerian counterpart. Why do you lot open your filthy mouth to say things you ha e no Idea about. An average factory worker in most of these indian, lebanese and chinese owned factories in Nigeria earns in the region of N500-700 per day depending on how long you have been with them. Neither do the Nigerian factory workers work any less than their foreign counterpart, I am speaking from experience as I work for one of them as a graduate trainee engineer. There is a very strong possibility that these indians have been shortchanged by the recruiting partner of the company. Besides, indians, Lebanese and chinese are cheats that deserve nobody's sympathy, I have my own share of their injustice meted out to me and my coleagues by them but that is for another thread. |
Gface you are not getting my point at all, your desperation for a job is impairing your sense of Judgement. The VIO-DVLA office was never a consulting firm, it is a government parastatal that is involved in vehicle licencing and other vehicular regulations. The whole claims of VIO-DVLA being different from state VIO is a big hogwash. Go ahead and pay if you want but don't try to encourage others to pay for such a scam. |
kulumo:disunity?? What are you talking about? I take exception to that very careless statement abeg. It is common sense to reason that because by nature an average Igbo person is a merchant of some sort and is more likely to want to expand his business or trade hence his itenerant nature and presence in every part of Nigeria. It is folly for anyone to suggest any disunity on this account. Even companies do thesame to maximise profit and create a brand name, no successful business grows big by setting up only in its pkace of inception. So drop that naive statement. |
gface:so you registered on NL just to tell us about it? Huh? So what exactly did you confirm, that they have an office in Ogun house- which I already asked people to visit in my previous posts anyway- or that the whole set up is not a scam? What did they tell you? Who did you meet when you got there? Ordinary staff or the boss? Can you in details tell us the questions you asked them and the answers they gave you. |
oyb:guy are you trying to turn these thread into an Igbo Vs Yoruba rubbish that lately has become your past time job. You used to be objective until you let yourself get enmeshed in all these tribal nonsense, now you are not any different from them. Are you saying Igbos have no right to get angry at the brazeness of this sect that is killing more Igbos than any other tribe outside of the north or the tacit support they get from the locals that know them but refuse to do anything and instead choose to remain silent. Have you ever lost any relation in this bombing? You think this is about sitting in the comfort of your armchair in the US of A, drinking coke and eating Mcdonalds burger while you type tribally inflammatory posts to outwit other tribalists like yourself? Seriously, if you have got nothing of importance to post it is better not to insult the souls of the hapless victims of these attacks. Are you trying to claim that if these attacks had been killing more Yorubas than any other tribe your tribesmen will just take it as a random attack and keep silent? The Osisikankwu you are using as example was a criminal that lived mostly in hideouts in the jungle, when his hide out was eventually known it was through tip-offs from locals. The police did not just wake up and decided they had found out his hide-out. There is nothing wrong to call out the northern leaders to own up to the responsibility of helping the security agencies catch them, what is wrong in that? Or you just like to argue uneccessarily, especially if there are Igbo people on the thread. Abeg learn to show some maturity and restraint, know when get brazen with your very annoying sarcasm and uneccessary provocations, we are talking about people's lives here not some stewpid ego boosting display of wits. Do that nonsense in another thread where your likes reign supreme. |
GenBuhari:Yeah right, tell that to the families that all perished in the attack or the woman that lost all her kids to such wickedness. Go and tell that to your people whom because they fear a reprisal attack have been dangerously silent and accommodating of those losers. We want to hear of actions and steps they have taken to fish these hoodlums out. The northern Elite is using fear as an excuse to step up against BokoHaram, some even try to wish it a way as a political maneuvour even when it is glaringly clear that these goons have a seriously flawed ideology. It is even more annoying when muslims try to feign that islam and the injunctions in the koran have no bearing in the motivation and resolve of these 4ckers. Whether they are good muslims or not, they are before anything else islamist jihadist with extremist views just thesame way a young intelligent Mutallab fell prey to the vagueness and mis-interpretations of koranic injunctions. Another thing your imams do that has been setting a very dangerous preceedence is mixing religion with politics. The imams may not have expressly told anyone to take laws into their hands but their sermons are unwittingly doing so. Londoner has already said it all, we would rather see that these goons are not supported by their local community through their actions than mere talk. And it is high time Igbos in the north had a re-think. Besides, I foresee a reprisal soon in places like Aba and Onitsha if these killings do not stop soon. |
valacious:look at this MOfo trying to call sb else little, I bet you will not have the nerve to say your nonsense to my face if you saw me face to face. Anyway, enjoy the fictituos fame that the internet confers on losers like you without a life out the bandwidth of Nl |
The more these scammers make attempts to dispel people's doubt about their scam, the more they unwittingly reveal the folly in their scam. VIO-DVLA is not and never was a private organization. Here is a quote also from their site to help you understand better what VIO-DVLA does: "The Issuance of driver and vehicle licenses are Exclusive preserve of the State Governmenr under the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Vehicle Inspection Office in States of the Federation are constitutionally authorized to issue valid drivers' license in any State of the Federation" From their scam letters, it is glaringly clear that our threads both here on NL and Naijahotjobs are causing them some serious loss hence their reference to Naijahotjobs in their hurried response. It is also clear they have their agents on these sites giving them feedback and public opinion. It is a very strong possibility that the VIO-DVLA site has been hacked by scammer, in the front page of the site you will notice that they deliberately choose not to paste the reply to the job scam allegation directly, instead there is tab that says SPECIAL "INFORMATION ON OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS" It is this tabthat takes you to another page on a click, this way it does not create any attention since it will look like a normal tab for people who are interested in getting a job to just click. Also, all information are meant to be gotten from the contacts that they provided on the page of their response( aint that fishy). Also you will notice that there was a deliberate effort not to dwell much on the contentious medical test fee of N1500, instead they vaguely talked about the possibilty of getting a refund and placed an email to that effect. People should be careful as it is obvious that some unscrupulous elements of VIO-DVLA are also part of this scam hence their unusual reticence. Notice how they use volunteer and employment interchangeably to decieve the undiscerning mind. VIO-DVLA is a government agency and not a private organization, people should be intelligent to make a research about these facts. |

Kay1kay1:go and tell that to bokoharam |
valacious:make God punish you in quadruplet, your family will be the next vuctim by the grace of God. Cries and sorrow will be your portion. |
Only a pretender like aljaharem will feign ignorance and act like BokoHaram does not have sympathizers amongst the northern muslim population. These guys live amongst them and even pray in thesame mosques with the imams knowing fully well how extremist their ideology is. In a saner society if you express any hint of extremist religious ideology in public or even a normal discussion you will be reported and placed under survailance. There is no how the force and all the intelligence units and agency will succeed in getting these Eidiots if they dont know how these cowards operate or get fund and support without tip-offs from people in the communities where these fools stay. Northern leaders are cowards, they don't count where it matters, all they do is talk in general terms and lay the blames on the door step of our foolish government. What has been their own contribution to curb these eediots, let them create programs vigilantes, tip off line, educative fora to de-sensitize moderate muslim families and youth, they should tone down on the political sermons they give in the mosques, it is turning the impressionable ones to tools for the BH cause. Let them speak out, their silence is killing non-muslims in their region, they should not be afraid to die as well. If pastors, christian leaders and other non-religious group can boldly condemn these evilstars then Islam should even do more to stop these monsters. This problem is largely a northern/islam problem, and it can't be handled in isolation of these realities. |
valacious:make devil use your blokus for fried egg, stewpid fool. If there cant be equal disarmament there should be balanced terror. Now we can start counting casualties on both sides not that one-sided combat we have been tolerating. May be now your stewpid leaders playing politics with other people's lives will appreciate the enormity of thier collective silence. Infact, there should be more targeted explosions like this one, period! |
they have not bombed any Mosque and I never mentioned that. It has been long I have been to maiduguri but my friend was telling me about how muslims were spree killed outside the mosque after prayers.
obviously only your friend saw that happen in front of a fictitous mosque cos nothing of such has ever been recorded or reported. All we hear is they kill muslims too but we don't see that in reality. |
Guy STFU with your false claims abeg, where was it reported that BokoHaram bombed any mosque? Muslims that have died in the attacks have been at best innocent by-standers that got killed in the heat of their calculated attacks on non-muslims and Igbos in particular. |
Bombing which mosque?? For where that one happen? You can keep making stuff up to cover the collective silence of northerners to the bokoharam problem. |
Assailants threw a crude homemade bomb into an Arabic school in southern Nigeria's Delta state overnight, police said, wounding seven people and escalating tensions between Muslims and Christians after a spate of church bombings across the nation. Six of the wounded were children younger than nine. The attack around 10 p.m. on Tuesday came two days after Christmas Day bombings of churches and other targets by Islamist militant group Boko Haram claimed around 32 lives in a coordinated strike which seemed aimed at igniting sectarian strife. "Some men driving in a Camry car threw a low capacity explosive into a building where an Arabic class was taking place," police spokesman Charles Muka said. "Children aged between four and nine were taking a lesson. Six children were injured and one adult," he said. He said police suspected a local vigilante group. Boko Haram, a sect which aims to impose Islamic sharia law across Nigeria, claimed responsibility for the blasts, the second Christmas in a row it has caused carnage. The worst attack killed at least 27 people in the St Theresa Catholic church in Madalla, a town on the edge of the capital Abuja, and devastated surrounding buildings and cars as worshippers poured out of the church after Christmas mass. Analysts say the attacks risk reviving sectarian violence between the mostly Muslim north and Christian south, which has claimed thousands of lives in the past decade. Northern Nigerian Christians fear the Christmas Day bombings could lead to a religious war in Africa's most populous country. Seperately, a family of four was killed in a machete attack on Wednesday in Nigeria's ethnically and religiously mixed Plateau state -- on the threshold of the country's largely Muslim north and its mostly Christian south. There was no suggestion the killings had any link to Sunday's church bombings, as the victims were Christians. Plateau is a tinderbox of ethnic and religious rivalries over land and power between local people and migrants from other areas. These often take the form of sectarian strife between the state's Christian and Muslim communities, and it is thought likely to be the first place to blow up should a wider conflict start. This report was curled from 234next newsite and it is 2day's report. This is just a tip of the iceberg if muslims up north keep giving stewpid excuses like aljharem's foolish post. Do something or get reprisal attacks as well. |
Evil Brain:I refuse to get carried away by such a sweeping generalization cos what we see is very different. As far as these attacks are concerned, the biggest casualties have always been Igbos, it is fast becoming an Igbo problem cos it us that getting calculated attacks and victimizations, the muslims that have died were more of innocent by-standers than victims of deliberate effort to be killed. If they are appalled like we are, then they should everything they can to help the forces apprehend these cowards, thet live in their villages, amongst them, being afraid to report is not an option here at all. When they start making efforts even if it takes their lives then we can start talking about them being affected and all that fine political talk. It is not their mosque that is being bombed afterall. |
purpose100:The fact that it always has to be a community, group, market, religion or even gathering with a pre-dominant Igbo population shows there is always an ethno-religious intents and undertones yo these attacks. Come'on, what is the probability of bombing a community of Igbo people in places like Abuja, Yobe, Jos, Kano, bauchi and all these places they keep bombing. The other time it was a predominantly igbo populated market and it had to be the shop of an Igbo trader. Does it mean only Igbos dominate these states or every market in these states have a predominant igbo population? These attacks cam hardly be argued as random or not calculated. It is sickening, may be when northerners in the east start getting murdered by a radical christian Sect as well with intentions to avenge these deaths then there will be true intentions by everyone to find a solution to such a wicked act. I seriously take offence to any suggestion that says the attacks are random or have no religious-ethnic bias to its intent. Enough is enough, most of the northern leaders are cowards that will rather hide in the veil of politics to support these evil act through their silence and sometimes very inflamatory comments. I careless if the attacks are political or not, one very glaring fact here is that a particular ethnic group have always suffered the most in most of these attacks and it will not be out of line if they decide to kill people from the ethnic origin of the members of this evil sect. Quote: If there can't be equal disarmarment then it is logical to have equal terror to balance the match. |
Fufu isnt commonly eaten by yorubas. It is however eaten by non-yorubas who are resident in the southwest. Negro please take note. Yes, we all know or have heard of SOME yorubas who eat fufu. However, it remains a midwestern/southeast/southsouth food.
I kind of disagree here with your claim that it is not commonly eaten by Yorubas. Might not be a staple amongst Yorubas but it is damn well popular with them. And by the way, Nigerian Fufu is quite different from the ghanaian and other west African Fufus o. . To Them it is a general term for cassava food. |
deboah:Yes, you are a mo'ron that is why I am talking to you like one. You are mad because we found you out?? Huh?? And by the way, you don't possess the skillset to argue with me on any issue so go crashland for gutter. If you had stayed within your limits and not try to cajole or hoodwink people into believing your unintelligent scam, may be i would ve spared you the ordeal. Now go back to your sleep and never wake up from it. |
Fufu is popularly eaten amongst the easterners, especially the Igbos and the Calabars, although the preparations are slightly different-while igbos boil and pound theirs like pounded yam, the calabars heats theirs in a fired pot until it begins to to get sticky and edible- hence the slight difference in colour and texture. The calabar process is widely used as it is quicker to prepare but to me, the igbo method is way better, tastes like pounded yam and smells less. It is eaten like your eba with any soup. It is also eaten by the Yorubas but most of the times they eat the ones prepared by the calabar as they are known for selling the stuff. The yoruba's is however very soft and kind of smells more, I tried it once and almost threw up, don't how they do theirs but it certainly does not go dowb well. Besides, Fufu goes readily with Calabar and igbo soups than yoruba's, that's why most times yorubas eat it with stew or egusi soup compared to the easterners that can eat it with a zillion soups and not get tired of it. Fufu is a staple amongst easterners than any other tribe but it is however popuar with every Nigerian. |
deboah:I am a way better graduate than you can ever be in your 4ckin pathetic life. Me I no dey look for work, you hear? You hungry desperado looking for unsuspecting by-standards to inflict with pain. Anuofia! Make Amadioha plague you there with leprosy and body odour. |
It is a strong possibilty that the site has been hacked with the connivance of insifer. That site is relatively easy to hack as the script used in writing the progreaam. That does not proof anything jare!! |

switch47:will you stop spewing hokum and stop giving people the wrong impression about the thread. This is not a job in the force, you know?? They are more of a vehicle licencing agency. So tell us in details you status of the so-called medical test? Were you certified fit for the test?? What and what did they test, i mean was it a blood test, diabetes test, hiv test bla bla and so on. What did they say was your status of the test?? What was your impression of the lab?? And the name of the lab techs that conducted the test. Guy use your head o. |
ayinba1:I have already spotted one here: gbemi-james, 7 posts and I am already suspicious of him. |
Adebhayor:Use your head my Guy, seriously, what is the difference between their states' affiliates and the HQ in Abuja?? Why do you have to go through their AbJ HQ using a personal mobile number to get information about the recruitment when you can easily walk into any of the state arms of VIO-DVLA and get thesame information. Besides, how many government organizations do you know that render personal mobile phone numbers as customer care line, information line. Another thing, some programmers have even commented on the possibility of their site being hijacked by scammers as according to them the their site was not programmed using a good script. Also, my cousins in Abuja have been to their HQ in Abuja and the officials there denied any knowledge of such a test or online recruitment exercise. For those of us that are resident in Abuja here is the adress of their abuja HQ: go to VIO-DVLA office @OGUN HOUSE,CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT,WUSE ZONE 3. Please let us know what their responses are there. Don't call any fraudulent personal number jare. |

Freedom of expression does not give your right to express every godamn weird thoughts that comes up in youe thick skull, gerrit now That is how limited your freedom can get if you tend to push it beyond its limits then you will be reminded that you are encroaching and overstretching your limits. Fortunately for us and undortunately for you the bill has only stated some of the limits to some of such weird sense of freedom rights. And by the way are you going to respect the rights of the majority to outlaw any public display of homosexualism or its promotion in Nigeria?? Or don't we as well have a right to disagree with their lifestyle and make law to checkmate their spread?? And by the way, if the NA is going to make any law Nigerians will be involved and if they agree to such law, who are you to challenge it?? Stop trying to twist something as simple as we "don't recognize you" and "wont tolerate your habit either". It is you who is deliberately trying to imply what the bill does not state. |
