What a shame?!

pweeryambre: We are in the 3rd year of our relationship. And i knew he grew up from the village and was trained by his grandmother(very old woman) although he has been displaying some annoying local champion attitude from the begining, i over looked it and thot that it would change with time, but recently its getting so annoying dat its begining to embarasse me u wont even believ he is a graduate.he is just 29.
He wil not take proper medication to cure his sickness. he wil go down to village to hav one native doctor beat out wat dey call pin from his body. Atimes ordinary malaria wil last a whole month in his body as a result. Always chewin garlik and all sorts of local herb which leaves his mouth smellin funny all d time.
Dosent beliv in romance anymore , our sex life has bcome so rigid, he just want to f**k without any form of 4play. Says romance is for d white man.
He prefers d company of very old piple or very small boys dat just left sec skul and says his mates dosent know wat dey r doing,,, dis is coming from sombody dat belives C ronaldo uses charm to play football
. He Dresses funny atimes. And his views on life generally is archaic.the other day we visited a married couple friends of ours and dey served us springles potatotoe snack and he just flong the thin away saying dat its food for pigeons dat dey shuld boil yam for him to eat wit red oil,which dey did. Althou we laughed at it. I was just embarassed. I dont even want to talk abt how he spent overr 950k buyin ordinary 2nd hand audi 80 car, just because he belives dat an old model car is better than new model. even though he complaind bitterly of bein broke.
now he says he wants to park and go and live in the village dat i shuld join him. I m thinking of dumping him cos dis is not wat i want in a man, but d only thin is dat he is too handsome.and he has a good heart.

Have you updated your school on the status of your visa application? If you haven't done so I'll advise you do so ASAP.

I sincerely don't know the exact time VFS sends the text msg because I'm still waiting for my visa but from what I read in previous pages, it's usually in the night. Just be expectant, u'll get urs very soon & please don't let this wait increase ur BP ooo. Cheers.

Imeobong: My brother I was asking myself this question last week Sat. There is an Electrician by name Obinna that park into a complex I run my business late last year. Where he was b4 was demolished, I advised him to go talk to my landlord, which he did and the man gave him a space free of charge. During this period we did nt have light and the guy was suffering because he cud nt charge battery for his customers, meanwhile I run my 12kva generator 12 hrs everyday during this period, so I called him and told him to hook his wire to my change over so that he could be using light from me (be it Nepa or gen. But I told him that since they stay near the gate house where my gen set is that they should be looking after the gen and also change from Nepa to gen if the need arise.

This Obinna guy have been using my sweat and making money for almost 1 year now, I have never ask him for money to service or repair my gen, nor money for diesel, nor oil. But yet each time I ask him to do electrical work for me he will charge me and I always pay, and sometimes he will be showing negative attitude towards me, like sometimes, if Nepa takes light he or his boy will no go and start the gen or if they bring light they will not go and change to Nepa. Recently, maybe because of rainy season, our neutral had problem and they was light throughout, we had stayed 4days without light cause of high voltage as a result of neutral failure, every other person in the complex agreed to contribute money for a Nepa guy to come and fix the neutral, but this Obinna guy refused cause he was having free light from my gen, it was not until I threaten him tht he agreed to bring his 500 Naira contribution.

Just last week Friday, I wanted to travel to Aba from Enugu. My car developed kick problem tht day, I took it to him he fixed it and it worked, he charged me 1500 naira which I begged and pay 800 naira, after which I went to fuel my car for the journey, after my car was fueled, the kick refused to work again, and the car was pushed and I took it back to him. He was not around and his boy ask me to go and buy brush, tht it need to b changed. As his boy was about removing the kick he came back and started beating the boy and asking him who gave him the permission to ask me to buy brush?. I pleaded and he left the boy but was still grumbling, after he looses the kick this Obinna guy beats up the boy again. I became angry when I ask him not to and left them.

To cut long story short, after the finished fixing the car I did not go to him again, they only brought the key and I went started the car, and did not travel again that day. On Saturday it was a rainy day, but I still embark on the journey, and the rain was my saving grace, I travel and was even looking at my dash board which I normally do anytime I am driving. I finished what I went for at Aba and returned back to Enugu in the evening and met a little hold-up at New Haven junction, and that was when I noticed it, my temperature started rising, it has never risen before. I was so surprise, I pull over, open my bur net, behold, the radiator fan was not connected, I quickly connect it, after which I called him- the Obinna guy. His response was that he was not the one tht work on my car and that it was his boy, nothing like sorry. I cut of the call started my car, thank God and drove back home. Since that day till today, I see him everyday since Monday, he has not said sorry. They no more put on.off the gen, nor change light, the unfortunate happened yesterday and this morning, gas cut in the gen and I had to rush buy gas and bleed the gen before it start, he and his boy where sitting and watching me, and today without me coming to check, there was no oil in that gen, I had to go buy oil and change it entirely, he and his boy where sitting and watching me do it, after which I decided that "enough is enough" and removed him from my gen.

He has since come and inquire why I disconnected him? and has gone round telling everybody, including the DCO. Can u imagine? Folks did I act badly? Please candid advice please. Thanks

So, im guessing I need only take my Cert, test report form and statement, yes?

Yes! Just submit your Undergraduate cert, IELTS report form & Bank statements showing required funds held for a minimum of 28 days; and if ur parents ar ur sponsor, attach ur birth certificate.

I had been studying in England since 2008 from which I obtained a Diploma in Business, which I then used to gain direct entry into 2nd year undergraduate course (BA (HONS) Business Administration) at a London University. Furthermore, I took a year off from study last year September 2011 after completing my 2nd year of study due to the death of my grandma and family reasons. Thus, my student visa expired last year October, 2011. But am ready to come back to my complete my final year studies and have received my CAS letter after paying £4000 to the University from which my university tuition fee cost£9000. However, I have a problem with my father's/sponsor's bank statement which I need to show proof of funds for my studies. My dad has funds available but the funds hasn't been there for the minimum of 28 days and my course starts on 17 September 2012. Am out of time and need to apply for a student visa. Please I need your advice.

When is the money going to mature and when is the Latest Enrolment Date? 17th Sept is kinda close. You can do an explanatory mail to admissions Cc your course leader & requesting for an extension. That way you'll have ample time for the money to mature & process your study visa. That's what I think. JW, Don & Dhark will advise you better.

Loriante: My forms are VAF9. I had first to apply online filling VAF9 application form, then on 27th I will be submitting VAF9 appendix form.. I am not sure if it is the same like anywhere else. But this is what I had and supposed to do..That's why I did realize that the UEL's guidance form is not quiet the same as mine.. :S

In addition to the VAF9, you will have to complete 1 out of the 9 appendices. The Appendix 8 (tier 4) is the one that concerns us and you should complete it. Go through this thread and the UEL's guidance form.

donbigboy: Ladies and Gentleman, Pls in my CAS Letter my starting was 13 september 2012 but than i ask for an extension of 2 week, the school sent an e mail stating that information in my CAS STATEMENT indicates that, the university will have to receive me for my course lestest 28 september 2012 and that UKBA have this information in their system,
Now my question is on Appendix 8 form , 4.3 which says give the sart and end dates for your course of study, should i fill the 13th sept in the CAS or the 28 sept
And even this CAS STATEMENT that says 28, i dont have it ,,but only the CAS Letter

I'll be submitting on the 28th & I'm faced with exactly the same issue. What I've done is to print out their email confirming that the Latest Enrolment Date is on the 26th Sept. & I'll attach dis to d docs I'll be submitting to BHC next week. I also sent another mail to my school telling them to include the Latest Enrolment Date in the CAS & I do hope they'll respond ASAP.

Must there be a transaction no matter how minimal on the day you intend printing your bank statement? I don't think its necessary provided the balance in your account does not fall below the required amount.

Op. They've said it all, I'll just reiterate. Spending about 150% of your accommodation rent on a naming ceremony is way over and above acceptable limits. We've all made financial mistakes, don't spend today regretting it, instead learn from it. Moving forward, I'll advise you prepare a recovery plan, something like diversifying your business or setting up something for your wife. Provided you meet other requirements, I think you are good to go. Just be careful when filling the forms so you don't make mistakes
