Travel / Re: LASTMA Averts Fire Explosion, Arrests Tanker Driver by Rick9(m): 2:27am On Oct 11, 2023 |
On the 1st of October in Benin Ologbo the border between Edo and Delta, a tanker fell down and spilled fuel, so many of the residents of the community went to scoop fuel but for some unexplainable reasons there was a spark and an explosion occured and many of the residents were burnt beyond recognition. The explosion also affected some travellers along that routes, lives were lost. Last Sunday I was on my way to church and I saw people gathering together I didn't even know what was happening, but something prompted me to ask and I did, the response I got was that a tanker spilled fuel on the ground and the driver jumped out. I was stunned, I could now observed why motorists were made to pass one lane only. Now this is also happening in Lagos State Everyone be prayerful, these are dark times. |

Chetas81:Anytime I remember that I am forced against my will to be part of this contraption called Nigeria I feel miserable honestly. Is it that people can't think at all in this country, can't they learn from their western counterparts and do the right thing. It's so bad that I am broke. I wouldn't spend even a second in this directionless shithole of a country. Nonsensxe. |

This has proven to us that this country doesn't have the mental strength to think. Tufiakwa . A consuming nation that hardly produce or export anything to earn forex is thinking of increasing minimum wage to 100k as if that would solve the problems. Invest heavily in Agriculture and the excess harvest would bring down the price of food and food inflation would be a thing of the past. When there is excess food that is about to spoil, the sellers would be forced to bring down the price. Solve food problems and see the effects it would have on the economy. 100k minimum wage wouldn't solve anything. Sometimes I wonder if this country has economists. Tufiakwa |

Why would it not depreciate when we are a consuming nation and the government refuse to invest in it's people. At this stage Nigeria is still battling common things like hunger and food inflation. Tufiakwa 3 Likes |
