There are fastings that you engage in that even when you feel weak or tired to pray, your spirit man prays . That is because you have given it it's food.

To be carnal is death.
To be spiritual is life.

Fasting that makes sense is one that is done in Holiness and righteousness, else you will only be engaging in weight loss program.
