This is my take. You probably come from an incestous family, and your parents are hiding it from you. That boy may be a product of incest between your father and his sister, and your mom knows about it. Your dad does not want to risk taking action that will blow up in his face and reveal his secret to the whole world. His siblings dont like him because they also probably know about it. It is an abomination. All these excuses he is giving you na okpata yarns. His son?(your cousin) is only towing his father's footsteps. I dont know how old you are, but I am guessing that you are over 18. If so, you need to kick the guy out of the house yourself. No need to talk about killing anybody and going to jail. Throw him out and maintain your stance. Tell your parents that if they wont respect your decision, then you will call family meeting and also report the matter to child welfare services. Both your parenta dey go prison be that. |
Mubbyleey:In Yankee, they would have been sued to splits by now. Na traffic offence, no be person e kill. Why do some of you always think that things like this happen in west? Everytime, people will be like "in saner climes, in saner climes". If you knew how things worked in saner climes, you'd think otherwise. |
Why does John Kerry visit Nigeria every election cycle? To ensure continuity in the pilfering of Nigeria's oil? |
Righteousness2:I am beginning to wonder how many Gods christians now worship. In Nigeria alone there's God of chosen, God of Babalola, God of Oyedepo, God of Adeboye, God of .... It seems that all the pastors have their own special God different from the one true GOD. Please purge yourselves of ignorance and pastor worship. |
LegendHero:Good for him. Mind you, Tinubu rebranded Col. Buba Marwa's Operation Sweep into RRS and subsequently sold off the three helicopters that Marwa bought for OS. The same helicopters were subsequently traced to one of the helicopter companies a few years ago and it was a source of huge controversy. I dont mind folks enumerating Tinubu's achievements, he had some. But it is unfair to take other people's achievements and ascribe them to him. Fashola's govt was way more impactful than Tinubu's. One of the main things Tinubu did was conceptualizing the metro and Eko atlantic. He scored very low on infrastructure and other metrics. Fashola did well in infrastructure, even though many were at inflated rates. Ambode was better too. For those trying to revise history by saying that Tinubu made Lagos what it is today, that is complete falsehood. Lagos, as the FORMER CAPITAL had all the trappings for an administrative city built by the FG, and also as a COMMERCIAL capital, the FG and other Nigerians had invested a lot in it loooong before Jagaban finished from High school. Tinubu did not build tha Apapa port, nor did he build MMIA, 3rd MB, Carter bridge, Eko bride, all the bridges. Not even Isheri Oshun bridge (Fashola and Ambode built Isheri bridge). Yes Tinubu widened the tax net to generate revenue, among other good deeds. He did well, but he also allegedly pushed for a private recoupment company to be signed into lagos state law, and it was done. Fashola expanded lagos by building roads linking remote communities. He also built more municipal roads than Tinubu did. If anyone in Lagos should be accorded the type of accolades that this uninformed generation is trying to ascribe to Jagaban, it should be Hon. LATEEF JAKANDE. That is(was) the father of Lagos. The man is (was ) a genius and he did everything he did in just 4 years. |
shadrach77:I wish I could buy you a drink. He wants validation, not advice. |
You are totally disrespecting the memory of your late wife. Totally! 3 months and you are cohabiting with someone else's wife? Have you bothered to find out her roots? She told you her husband left her, did her family return the brideprice paid on her head? Or do you not know that as long as that hasn't been done, they are still customarily and legally married? Do not use the children's happiness and wellbeing to justify your lust for flesh. Don't do that! You should have your family and your late wife's family as your support system not a strange woman. This is how men court trouble. In 12 days you are already cohabiting with a strange woman. Na wao! So because your children like her, they have turned to the father and you are now a baby and as such they tell you what to do? To bring in a woman? The quality of parents these days dey baffle me. Our parents did a far better job at parenting than young parents these days. Even with all parenting manuals and education, basic parenting is still too poor these days. How can you try to justify your lust with your children's wellbeing? If the tables were reversed and your wife was sleeping with another man just three months after, would your family not be all up in arms against her? This is every shade of wrong! I do not think you came here to seek advice because its a no-brainer. I think you came to seek validation for your actions. Goodluck my brother! Na wao! |
novakk:There is no law that narrows your choice of a life partner to either of those two women. Don't be in a hurry to marry and make a life altering mistake. Almost everything that happens in the physical comes to us in dreams, even funny stupid dreams that ostensibly look like it has no bearing with reality but believe me it does. I started understanding the relevance and interpretation of certain dreams from my wife. Pray for deeper insight. Ask God to speak to you in ways that you'll understand. Hoping or praying that the first woman will change is just a waste of time. You don't marry someone based on your wish that they change. Do a self evaluation to be sure that you are not the one going off track with your expectations. |
martineinstein:You need to grow some sense. She is Igbo first, then delta. Delta also fought the war on biafra side. In fact the person whose actions began the whole crisis was from Delta. Back then before enemies like you started trying to divide and conquer the Igbo race, we were all one and state of origin mattered little. So grow some sense in that cranium of yours, just a friendly advice. |
crazymod:Contractors cannot commission a road by themselves. The govt. is always involved. The govt. is Ambode! That was how some bloke posted pictures of Apapa-Oshodi expressway and said Ambode reconstructed and people were here chanting praises. He only patched up some portions of the road, you need to ply the route to understand. Ply that road daily for 2 weeks and watch all the nuts and bolts fall off from your car. Yes it is better now but I didn't expect that kind of patchwork on a major road like that, the only road that leads to our sea ports and that experiences heavy truckage. This is a road that was reconstructed all the way from tin can port to Ijesha in the past dispensation only for Ambode to discontinue reconstruction and commence shoddy patch work. This is a road that has undulating layers of tar and cement/ sand that should be peeled off entirely. |
1. Embark on a road trip accross west africa and then europe(at least through 4 countries) in a very fast sports coupe. 2. Live in some obscure quiet island like cape verde or macau etc for some months. Battery low will update soon. |
SirShymex:Wicked! |
I wish Jonathan and his people would just view these indian threads going on now to see the amount of damage the Nigerian people have to suffer. I wish they could also use this medium to strengthen our immigration laws to checkmate the influx of these rogue asians. I personally will start calling immigration on these asians especially indians in Lagos at least. I know a number of them without proper papers. I wouldnt mind taking it to higher quarters if action is stayed on them. I think we have had enough of this nonsense. |
These guys are like Denzel compared to OBJ, Oshiomhole and uduaghan. ![]() |
indianin9ja: The Indian community is one million strong in Nigeria. We won't forget what happened in Uganda when Amin drove us out and seized our property. Our slogan is "Never Again". Don't bite off more than what you can chew. And I thought I was talking to a rational being. SMH! You are enjoying anonymity online but at the same time stoking emotions. You are tacitly inciting people here thinking you are safe? Common sense would dictate that when an aggrieved party makes threats based on emotions on an internet forum like this, you simply ignore them. But you decide to lead them on. Be careful what you wish for, things just might get out of hand before you know it. It could even start with your own workers. |
indianin9ja: Complete falsehood, and irrelevant to safety. If we're not qualified, then why on earth would we be hired.Yada yada! Just yapping away. Please tell me how it is dangerous for you as an asian to live in Nigeria and how much safer Nigerians are in india. Please elaborate ...and no sentiments please! Because I can see you speaking from both sides of your mouth already if I have to dig up your previous posts both on this thread and others, but for arguments' sakes I am not gonna waste that much time. You guys are hired because our govt has this notion that anything foreign is better, little wonder they give out contracts to you asians without merit because it gives them room for inflating figures as they like. Sad thing is after you guys get the contracts, you still sublet it to Nigerians who end up executing the job. Why not give it to the Nigerian in the first place? No they wont do it all because of corruption. I have seen this particular scenario play out a number of times so I know what I'm talking about. You are here claiming to be the best thing that happened to your workers since fried rice, but I bet they would have different stories to tell. |
indianin9ja: It's India, for gods' sakes, it's not UK or US! Even non-VIP Indians murdered in India do not get properly investigated. There are too many murders and not enough police resources.Pray tell how is it dangerous? You people come here with next to no qualification and integrity and are given juicy corporate positions and it is dangerous? You live in the most secure and affluent areas in town and it is dangerous? You are given all sorts of maidservants and the likes and it is dangerous? Do you drive your car yourself? I bet not. You have a driver that drives you around and you treat him like sshit and it is dangerous? You have generators in your quarters running 24/7 supplying power when the rest of us have to light candles and it is dangerous? All in a bid to drive DFI, our government gives you all sorts of concessions to encourage your business including loans that are hitherto not available to Nigerians and it is still dangerous? If this is the new face of danger, I'd gladly embrace it with both arms and legs. I think people just take advantage of the warm nature of Nigerians to do the things they do. Go try it with South Africa, let us see if you'll get similar results. In all I BLAME THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT FOR NOT HAVING THE COMMON MAN'S INTEREST IN THEIR AGENDA hence all the incidents. |
indianin9ja: How could they protest something like that? The Indian "mafia" don't just kill people for fun; it was obviously a drug deal gone wrong. Also, why do they place such a high standard on the Indian police? As if the Nigerian police would give a damm if an Indian is murdered here.It is either you are clearly misguided or you are new in Nigeria. The Nigerian POlice would go the extra mile to uncover any such murder that involves a foreigner (even if it means framing up innocent people). Whether it was a drug deal gone wrong or not, murder is still murder and the indian police owes a duty to investigate thoroughly. You dont even know if it was a drug deal or not, just assumptions. Afterall we dont get to hear of Nigerians in other countries protesting when one of us is killed in a drug related case or is india the only place they deal drugs? |
ROSSIKE: Ignoramus. The Nigerians were protesting because the Indian police IGNORED the killing and refused to investigate it, NOT because a Nigerian was murdered. Next time get some facts in your head before typing rubbish.Pipe down sir! You are losing it. I feel your pain though but let us keep it civilized as you are known to do most times. |
indianin9ja: I've been saying this before, the people that are opening companies with boards in Nigeria don't have problems with visas. They'll never have a problem with their immigration papers. The ones that would have problems are those in small enterprises, for whom the government does not automatically grant visas or for whom the bribes needed to get papers are out of reach. There is a difference between anger and hate. Nigerians are angry that we have to be treated the way we are even by india whom we see as having similar struggles (illegal immigration, corruption, crime etc.) From your statement above you would rather the Nigerian government left the indians in Nigeria to stay on illegally because they provide employment? And you dont mind the indian govt kicking out Nigerians living illegally in india because they dont provide employment but only have "clients" (in your own word)? The white man did not do this, india did! If Nigerians hated indians, I think you'd have heard of attacks on indians living in Nigeria by now, or have you heard of ANY. Nigerians are warm people especially to foreigners and we only deal you the card you hand to us. We have different nationalities here without papers but the average Nigerian WOULD NEVER rat you out to immigration or police as some of our African brothers do. |
indianin9ja: I feel bad for what the Indian minister said. It's a gross generalisation. Many Nigerians in India engage in legitimate business and pose no harm to the society. However, you must understand that India is immune to political correctness. Since most Indians don't interact with Nigerians in India, they think that what they hear about on the media is all there is. That's why they're quick to generalise. Are you part of India's envoy to Nigeria? I ask because you are on every thread that contains the word "india" doing damage control. ![]() |
This has got me laughing so hard since yesterday when I saw it. @poster, You no well at all.
|
rigormortis: bro Indians that are in this country illegally are four times those that are here legally even though their papers are expired and they claim masters and phd when they don't even have trade test. LWKMDH |
COOLDUN: You are very right, India is the dirtiest country in the world to be honest, what they do is steal photos from the beautiful cities in other countries and place them on their tourist books , but when some tourists get there they would be welcomed by stray animals, dogs, cows, buffaloes , hips of refuse, swarms of flies, well fed mosquitoes, floods of spits , human excrete, they can spit anyhow and carelessly. ![]() |
indianin9ja: PS, I have my papers to remain in Nigeria and to do the work that I do. But suppose an Indian factory owner doesn't, if he is deported, his Nigerian workforce would lose their jobs just like that. Wouldn't his deportation hurt Nigerians more? Similarly, when a Nigerian businessman gets deported from India, wouldn't his Indian clients lose their business just like that? I mean, at the end of the day, these are all the small pawns in the economy, people in big firms would never have this problem with mere visas. That is why it is a company. Nobody will lose any jobs. Someone else will take over. After all there will be other indians there in the company and some of them would have thier papers legit. And at least you have a Nigerian on the board of directors...even though they are usually just for 'decoration'. I really wish our authorities would pry more into the activities of foreign coys activities in Nigeria especially the lebanese, indian and chinese coys. There is really so much sshit going on there. |
rigormortis: live with Indians a hundred years and you will never understand them@ bolded I have heard of this from Nigerians living in kualar lumpur. You dont just talk to an indian girl else another indian man would come to harrass you and within minutes, they are already up to 10 trying to fight you. They just dont like it when you talk to their girls. I also hear that they and the chinese are the gangstars and drug dealers in malaysia cruising around in ferrarris and lambos. From all accounts, they are one mean bunch of people. |
people should learn to ignore Family Fool Kayode! He is a reputed junkie who makes no sense at all as expected. |
berem: All these our past heroes wey sabi play away match. Couldn't they have stuck to one woman each? They were busy sleeping around with women and getting them pregnant. No wonder Nigeria still remained what it is since independence. Ladies man my foot! When men were men! |
