TravelRe: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Risazii: 9:27am On Oct 20, 2020
Thanks, she is here alone for now, according to her she is on contraceptives so it's a surprise to her

LagosismyHome:
Why didnt she plan herself well, to go on a contraceptive or something

However what will happen depends on an individual. If she can do both been pregant and do school as normal then no problem

If she has complications with pregnancy and for example has an extended stay in hospital then such situation becomes tricky with attendance. But now with remote role you can get away with some thing. My colleague sent baby pic last week, absolutely nobody knew she been pregant all this while. However her husband is not working so will take care of the baby full time while she works so little impact

Hope this lady has help .... if she does then it makes it easier as well
TravelRe: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Risazii: 8:42am On Oct 20, 2020
I don't understand, what you mean by "what type of pregnancy?"

Lexusgs430:
When universities are front facing, she would see other ladies, also in the same whatsapp group....... cheesy

The only limitation, is her condition...... What type of pregnancy would she have?....... huh

Thank you, she was concerned that the school might ask her to differ

Mamatukwas:
There’s no implication on her studies that I’m aware of. She should face her studies, when it’s time to drop she drops. No biggie.

You can't book directly from the website because of the restrictions on our naira cards, you have to use travel agents unless you ask someone from abroad or a Dom account card

Been in the same boat since yesterday

Happy Independence Day nairaland fam!

I have come with my own testimony, my VISA was APPROVED!!!

Biometrics 22nd Sept
Decision mail 28th Sept
Passport delivered 30 Sept

To all those waiting, God will perfect your testimony soon!!

My application was quite complicated (the story no get part2) so I was very scared of what the outcome would be but I trusted God completely and he showed up yet again. I asked a lot of questions here, the responses I got and other people's experiences helped tremendously. No phone interview, no non straightforward mail (still in awe of how smooth it was, all glory to God).

Oh I also had a US tourist visa denial in 2013 and I declared it in my application.

Thanks to everyone who contributes on this platform, especially @mimilyrics @justwise @mamacajah @aprokodaughter @lagosismyhome etc... God bless you all

I paid using access bank card on Wednesday last week for myself and a friend on friday, we were charged same amount 127k+

Cigbojugha:
Pls avoid using access bank naira debit card for priority service payment.
The card limit currently is $300 and when you convert £220 to $ its above $300 so my transaction failed.

Please those who have used the priority service what method of payment did you use apart from paying at the centre and if you paid at the center, how much were you charged equivalent in Naira.
Thank you.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Risazii: 11:40am On Sep 23, 2020
Pay online before going it's cheaper, I was charged #127+. I took someone's advice here and I think access and wema bank cards work best

Cigbojugha:
OK thanks.

Did you pay the naira equivalent and how much was it or did you pay the 220 in pounds?

Happy for you. Best wishes, i'm headed to Newcastle soon too God willing

Yimi4real:
Arrived safely in Newcastle this morning.
BA booking was to Newcastle but of course, landed in London first before we proceeded with a local plane. For those having connecting flights, please ensure you have at least 3 hours in between your flights when booking that would give ample time for any delay. BA left an hour later than scheduled plus you need time at London airport for immigration and checking in. Border was a breeze, they only asked “where are you going and what course?”

If traveling with kids on BA, ensure you pack something for the kids to eat on board Incase they don’t want the food served. I didn’t like it too but thankfully we had a back up.

Was welcomed by family with a sumptuous poundo and Edikaikong before sleeping for hours after a very hectic weekend.

Thank you all for the support I received here, and to those still processing, wishing you all the best, we look forward to welcoming you HOME.

Good morning nairalanders, sorry to ask this question I just want to be sure I am not missing anything. Please what are the documents to be taken for biometrics? Mine is tomorrow. I paid for priority online after I submitted my application, will I need to print out the receipt? Please help. It's self service so I have already submitted the documents required

Hello seniors, please I need to buy ££ who has for sale?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Risazii: 8:42pm On Sep 15, 2020
Thank you so much mamacajah for the heads up I will definitely do that

mamacajah:
Congrats for finishing this step.. next stop getting an appointment date..
I would advise you to pick Abuja..
feedback from Lagos right now.. earliest date for Ikeja is 2nd week of October (self) or end of Sept (assisted)..I don't know the dates for VI, but I believe it wouldn't be too far apart since alot of people are going for walk-in there as well
Even walk-ins now is becoming a big challenge, Ikeja is a no-go area at the moment, Vi is almost becoming the same
..so don't pick Lagos..go to Abuja, select a date and do walk -in..

I finally got to pay for my IHS using Paga, I funded my friend's account and it was seamless after several attempts to upgrade my paga account to level 3 failed

Please those of us trying to pay our IHS fee if your payment goes through via paga verve pls inform us here. Thank you

Thank you very much

Odedenshi1:
please help

I had same challenge last week trying to pay my Visa fees using paga verve, after I have successfully paid my IHS fees. What I did was to transfer the amount $484 (#187,156) to a classmate who eventually paid for me. If you have a trusted person you know one on one who have succeeded in paying his/hers, you can reach out to him/her to help you out. All the best

Good evening everyone I am back for help again. Please those that are going for PhD how did you pay for IHS fees? I am to pay almost $1900 but all my effort has been abortive. "Sorry we are experiencing technical problems" is the message displayed whenever I attempt to make the payment. Has anyone else experienced this? How was it resolved? I have used different cards all to no avail, please help
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Risazii: 1:26am On Sep 12, 2020
Please what's the process of splitting the payment ?

ralphtamtobi:
I paid both IHS and visa fee with Naira card via Paga verve.

You just need to split the money into 2 accounts.

You don't have to open paga account

Backcheck:
I just found out their dollar Dom account monthly limit is $1000
GTB monthly limit is now I think 100usd. Hence the rejection.
