Before the Federal High Court, over 10 witnesses, who are security personnel attached to the Assembly, testified under oath that Martin Amaewhule's convoy drove to the Rivers State House of Assembly Complex on October 29, 2023.
Martin Amaewhule should be questioned over the burning down of the Rivers State House of Assembly Hallowed Chambers.
Cmanforall: Reports circulating online claim that FCT Minister Nyesom Wike collapsed in Abuja due to excessive alcohol intake and was rushed to France for advanced care, with experts warning he may never regain full mobility. However, this information has not been officially confirmed.
It was observed that the FCT Minister was missing at President Tinubu's birthday celebration. His absence was not expected considering the close ties between the two. His absence in this birthday celebration raises questions about the Minister's health.
How true this is, is yet to be thoroughly fact-checked
A man that collapsed a Democratically elected government in his state, what can he not do?
Chuuks666: Nigeria’s political space is increasingly throwing up absurdities, so much to take aback men of good conscience. It is assuming the norm that the rule of thumb at becoming a successful politician in Nigeria is to acquire a deadened conscience. This perhaps best describes the situation with former Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Honourable Martin Amaewhule and 26 other former members. These men, after making an open show of their resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on the floor of the State Assembly on December 11, 2023, and declared for the All Progressives Congress (APC), in an absurd manner are now brazenly denying their decampment. These 27 insist that they be reinstated into the PDP and bona fide members of the Rivers State Assembly.
This denial is at the heart of numerous legal actions presently in Court and calls to question the integrity and character of these lawmakers. The question now is: How can a group that publicly, legally, and constitutionally defected to the APC turn around and deny their action?
This rare conduct is a significant development in Nigeria’s democracy.
Thus present supreme court na court and join. Shame dey catch me seeing those Stupid justices. They've succeeded in making mockery of themselves and their generation..
Wife of the immediate past Head of Service Rivers State, has is a desperate call for help, narrated how her husband was cajoled, blackmailed and forced to sign a document that was to implicate Gov. Fubara. She said her husband who was terrified by the development and the desperation of those behind the action, had insisted on rather resigning than carry out such evil act.
She narrated how he was asked to come to Abuja and after being unable to reach him, she was surprised to see her husband on TV reading a statement given to him.
She had tried severally to contact her husband but he has been incommunicado and she is worried of his safety.
This action clearly shows the desperation of the enemies of Rivers State and the great lengths they can go to actualise their agenda.
It is also imperative we call all security agencies most especially the Inspector General of Police to harken to this SOS call by Mrs Florence Nwaeke on the whereabout of her husband and ensure that everybody that is part of the grand orchestration to kidnap and blackmail Mr George Nwaeke all for political gains should be brought to book. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18swo8Dgp4/
Wike go use him boys do this job. E get people wey I dey suspect say their hand dey inside but make I keep quite for now but in all anybody that made that man read that rubbish did a very poor job. I've read the screenshot of Dr. Nweke's chats with Edison and then you'll understand that it's either the man was given an amount of money he has not seen in his lifetime (bought) or he was threatened. Wike is praying lots of dirty politics and he should watch his back too because the person that will undo him will come from his own camp not even those opposing him. As for Tinubu, he should be smart enough in matters involving Wike.
Video of a national broadcast by the Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Duoye Diri, Officially declares Nyosom Wike, minister for FCT persona non grata across Bayelsa State.
Excerpts:
This is what Sim should have done to that Wicked Man called Wike but he allowed him creep his way into the state to tarnish his efforts.
Honestly, I hate it when people abuse that lady. She's not the first neither will she be the last to have 6 kids from different men. Nobody knows her story but all I see is people writing so many derogatory things about her person.
Spiritscience: PRINCE DR. NICHOLAS UKACHUKWU (IKUKUOMA): THE SUPERIOR CHOICE TO CHALLENGE SOLUDO IN 2025
In the high-stakes arena of Anambra State’s 2025 governorship election, Prince (Dr). Nicholas Ukachukwu, (Ikukuoma Ndigbo) emerges as a formidable contender to take on incumbent Governor Charles Soludo. As the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) faces off against rising opposition, particularly from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ukachukwu’s unique blend of business acumen, political experience, and grassroots appeal positions him as the candidate best equipped to unseat Soludo. Here’s why he stands out as the superior option to contest and triumph at the polls.
First, Prince Ukachukwu’s track record as a business titan gives him a decisive edge. As the Chairman of SNECOU Group Limited, he has built a conglomerate spanning real estate, oil and gas, construction, and agriculture, creating thousands of jobs and driving economic growth. Unlike Soludo, whose academic and banking background is theoretical and elite-focused, Ukachukwu’s hands-on success in diverse industries demonstrates a practical understanding of wealth creation—crucial for a state needing tangible economic upliftment. His promise to “run Anambra like a business venture” resonates with voters tired of unfulfilled promises, offering a stark contrast to Soludo’s perceived over-reliance on policy papers over action.
Second, Ukachukwu’s political tenacity and experience outmatch Soludo’s relatively shorter political journey. Having contested gubernatorial and senatorial races since 1999 across multiple parties—PDP, ANPP, HDP, and now APC—Ukachukwu has built a robust network, strong support base and resilience that Soludo, a political newcomer until his 2021 win, cannot rival. Ukachukwu's victory over Bianca Ojukwu in the 2018 APGA primaries showcased his ability to outmaneuver heavyweights, a skill he could deploy against Soludo. While Soludo leans on APGA’s historical dominance, Ukachukwu’s shift to APC taps into federal backing under President Tinubu, amplifying his electoral firepower.
Third, Ukachukwu’s grassroots connection gives him an advantage Soludo struggles to match. His philanthropy—funding education through the British Nigerian Academy and healthcare initiatives—has endeared him to communities across Anambra South and beyond. Soludo’s tenure, marred by controversies like the burial law spat with the Catholic Church and perceived elitism, has alienated some voters. Ukachukwu’s cultural resonance as Ikukuoma Ndigbo, coupled with his pledge to tackle insecurity within three months, addresses the visceral concerns of Ndi Anambra more directly than Soludo’s technocratic approach.
Fourth, Ukachukwu’s alignment with APC offers a strategic upper hand. With APGA’s grip weakening—evidenced by its loss of federal representation—and Soludo facing criticism over local government autonomy and security, Ukachukwu can leverage APC’s national machinery and Tinubu’s influence to sway undecided voters. Soludo’s advantage as an incumbent is diminished by his party’s internal rifts and lack of a strong successor to the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, whom Ukachukwu is poised to replace as APC’s standard-bearer. This federal connection could tip the scales in a tight race.
Fifth, Ukachukwu’s bold vision and adaptability outshine Soludo’s faltering promises. Soludo’s “Dubai-Taiwan” rhetoric has yielded little visible progress, with insecurity and poverty persisting despite his economic credentials. Ukachukwu, by contrast, offers a clear, actionable agenda—prioritizing security, infrastructure, and inclusivity—backed by his proven ability to deliver in the private sector. His recent high-profile marriage to Mitchel Ihezue also keeps him in the public eye, enhancing his charisma and relatability compared to Soludo’s more reserved persona.
Sixth, Ukachukwu’s ability to turn adversity into opportunity sets him apart. While Soludo has stumbled over public relations missteps—like the Obimma funeral dispute—Ukachukwu has weathered controversies. His audacious call for heightened security during the 2024 festive season signals a proactive stance on law and order, an area where Soludo has been criticized for inaction. Voters seeking decisive leadership may see Ukachukwu as the antidote to Soludo’s perceived complacency.
In conclusion, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma) is the better option to contest and defeat Charles Soludo in 2025. His entrepreneurial success, political experience, grassroots appeal, APC backing, clear vision, and resilience form a compelling case. Against Soludo’s incumbency, which rests on a fraying APGA legacy and unfulfilled promises, Ukachukwu represents a dynamic alternative—an industrialist-turned-politician ready to deliver where academia has faltered. For Ndi Anambra yearning for change, Ikukuoma is the lion in the forest poised to roar to victory.
We appeal to APC Delegates to support Ikukuoma to fly our Party's flag come April 5th, he will not disappoint us.
They've released small money now you've come on nairaland to type nonsense. Una dey always allow unaselves to be used, allow the guy finish up his projects, monkey.

Senator Solomon Adeola during the debate on the motion to immortalize Prof Humphrey Nwosu on Thursday in the Senate narrated a painful incident which resulted in the death of his immediate younger Brother, which he blamed on the actions and inactions of Prof Nwosu.
He insisted that because of that, Prof Nwosu should not be immortalize as he doesn't deserve such an honor, even in death.
Prof Nwosu was the Chairman of National Electoral Commission which conducted the June 12, 1993 presidential election.
Does this Senator know how many younger and elder brothers his corrupt practices have killed in the last few months alone?
Omooba77: The 15th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Bayero, has announced the cancellation of the Eid-el-Fitr Durbar celebration due to security concerns in the state.
Emir Bayero made this announcement while briefing newsmen at his Nasarawa Mini Palace in Kano on Wednesday night.
He said that the peaceful coexistence of the people takes precedence over the Durbar celebration.
Emir Bayero had initially planned to hold the Durbar celebration, which would have coincided with his fifth year anniversary on the throne.
He noted that respected Islamic clerics, elders, stakeholders, and his council members advised him to cancel the celebration to maintain peace.
Emir Bayero urged the people of Kano to use the Sallah celebration period to visit families and friends and to observe the festivities in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere.
He prayed for Allah’s blessings and mercy during the month of Ramadan, hoping that the people of Kano would receive forgiveness and mercy.
Former minority leader and Senator representing Abia South Senatorial District, Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe (APGA) staged a walk-out of the Senate chambers as he saw his motion for the immortalisation of Professor Humphrey Nwosu over-ruled by Presiding Officer.
Senator Abaribe had tried to forward a motion to recognize the former Chairman of the National Electoral Commission, Professor Nwosu (now deceased) following his role in the 1993 Presidential election, adjudged Nigeria's best till date.
His arguments were countered by Majority Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele and despite Senator Yahaya Abubakar Abdullahi's (PDP - Kebbi North) public rebuke of the Presiding Officer (Barau Jubrin - Deputy Senate President), it was eventually over-ruled.
DSP Jubrin gave explanations in the rule book why the motion could not be sustained.
sailor2011: Trash....Tell Natasha to quit being dramatic and present substantive evidence in court against the SP...all this cries will not change anything...If PBAT is ok working with the SP , who the hell is Natasha , the blackmailer? She doesn't stand any chance in this fight .
keymatt: All I see is the face of poverty who are willing to sell themselves for crumbs for their masters. Their duplicated signatures is already on the airwaves. Urchiins will always be urchiins, disgracing themselves since 2015
One of these guys fit be this guy wey no get work but dey 247 for nairaland dey post rubbish.
Unwise Akpabio that doesn't know that once Natasha is recalled she will have enough time to bring him down. It's clear that Akpabio committed all the allegations against him but this is Nigeria and he's trying so hard to silence the matter. But the dude should have been smart enough to handle the matter in a diplomatic matter instead of heating up the polity by funding some unwise campaigns against Natasha. Call the woman to a private meeting with her husband and thrash the matter once and for all but Akpabio feels occupying the seat of a Senate President is where the world ends. He should keep funding campaigns till this woman leads to his doom, Natasha is a scorned woman and he should beware of her wrath. That woman fit destroy Akpabio without blinking an eye and she has nothing to lose at the very end.
TinubuCriminal: Obviously, Tinubu read my last thread and decided to force the situation before he gets himself in a quagmire. My prediction can still happen though.
Anyway, back to the topic...
PDP should retire Atiku and offer Wike the Presidential ticket today and Nigeria will become a better place.
AliEzeOlu: Hello friends, so I met this lady in 2022 and we plan to settle down early next year. But the problem is, she's gonna clock 36 in December.

Your babe can give birth at anytime. No dey allow this menopause thing disturb you. She's still fertile the only risk is 50years.
