Nothing personal about it, it's a no-brainer that it's better for an Arsenal signing to have EPL experiencepedigree than UCL experience especially when the other player has only played league football in Brazil & Turkey!

You'd prefer a LB who hasn't been even looked at for his national team to a player who features regularly for the Brazil national team? You prefer a player who was in the championship in 2010 to someone who has CL experience?

Spanish national team selection is highly political, if Enrique had been playing for Barca or Real he would have displaced Capdevila since last season or the season before sef! Based on performance alone Enrique is easily Spain's best left-back.

I'd take a player with EPL experience over a player with UCL experience anyday. It's not even debatable.

Note: I'm not saying Santos is a bad player(obviously he's pretty good). As for Mertersacker. . . i can't shout!

man city and chelsea have spent ridiculous amounts of money over the last 8 years and they don't often sell these players well.
they just dispose them off at rubbish prices.

but to be honest, wenger has done really well with those low numbers. . . . .however, some fans think he has overdone it cos arsenal should not be a selling club that prides itself in making huge profits in player transfers. with the rise and rise of mid-table teams spending lots of money, they have suddenly closed the gap on arsenal and the top 4 finish is now looking ominous.

The problem with Wenger is he does the hard part extremely well then goes on to rubbish his brilliant efforts by bottling the "easy" parts.

Those numbers are just ridiculous, Arsenal shouldn't even be competing in the top 6!

Walcott scored 9 in the league last season and he played less than 50% of the time. He's already scored three goals in his last four games in an Arsenal shirt this season. Walcott will outscore every winger in the EPL this year bar none, EASILY!

I think i completed all the missions on veteran(co-op) except the one where you have to kill like 15 juggernauts with RPGs only. I must have tried that mission a million times. In my defence all my partners were terrible players

The board have little to do with him passing up the opportunity to sign Enrique only to go for an older, inferior player with no EPL experience for the same, if not a bigger transfer fee. The board didn't ask him to spend 12-15M on Ox when there are far more pressing issues in the squad.

Cleverley was on the far better side, it's a disgrace the stats are even that close!

Note, i didn't say Cleverley played badly, all i said is Ramsey caused United many problems going forward.

Ya'll need to watch the game again. He conceded possession cheaply a few times but Ramsey played well, going forward at least. I lost count of the number of times he made the Cleverley Coogar is raving about  and co look silly with some very clinical touches/dribbling. The whole defence was a joke but you can't really blame him for that can you? At times Arshavin and Theo were so far up the field any fullback would have looked like a mug(imagine Rooney + Young + Evra triple-teaming Jenkinson)

Without your four first choice holding MFs(Song, Frimpong, Diaby, Wilshere) your always going to struggle at the back but Djourou should be shot! His excellent form around the middle of last season fooled a lot of people, Cahill must now be a priority signing.
