Bliss4Lyfe: The coincidence between Boko Haram and APC can no longer be ignore.

1)Within days of El Rufai(APC) accusing the COAS of boko haram sponsorship, Boko haram via australian negotiator comes out to accuse the COAS of sponsorship. This same COAS the Northern elders begged to go easy on Boko Haram?

2)Why did Boko Haram never come out to deny or claim responsibility for the attack on Gen Buhari? Could it be it was all a stunt to fool the public rather than an attack?


3)Why did Boko Hram not gain grounds during the time of Ihejirika but after his retirement to contest Abia Gov? Today Boko is taking City where they once ran for their dear life?


4)Are Nigerians so daft to think a secret society like Boko Hram will reveal their sponsors whilst top commanders such as Kabiru Soko to in Nigeria custody could not ascertain where their sponsorship was coming from, even under torture?


5)Boko Haram seems to time their bombardment to coincide with major events such as elections in Osun, PDP rally and Presidential national address.

6)Why have America, Britain and France not yet rescued the Chibok girls or ascertained Boko Haram sponsor?


7)Since when is a terrorist group that have killed thousands of Nigerians credible source of information on their sponsors and why haven't these same commanders given Nigerians tip off on their operations to save lives? Think my people think!

BOKO HARAM is APC and APC is Boko Haram, their ideology is Islam and all Nigeria must embrace Sharia. This problem started with the introduction of Sharia and will end with the ban on Sharia.

maestroferddi: I am personally astounded by the developments in this country. The degree of bitterness and intolerance are getting pretty worrisome.

Granted, the government in power has a lot to do to meet the expectation of the electorates that voted it into power. But then we have to draw a line between a constructive opposition and sheer unreasonableness.


In other climes, opposition elements make their mark by complementing the party in power. In other words, they, as a watchdog of government, provide constructive opposition. They praise the government when it makes positive progress and provide constructive criticism when the government falls out of line.

From the foregoing, the opposition duly earn their respect and recognition.
Infact,the opposition conduct themselves as a credible alternative. Put in another way, the opposition demonstrate, by their action, that they be could entrusted to form a broad-based government without jeopardising the common good.


The case of Nigeria is pathetically unfortunate. We have a situation where the major opposition party practically see nothing good in whatever the government does. It is as if the main opposition party viz APC is pre-set willy-nilly to denigrate and disparage all actions of government.


I am constrained to ask whether this tendency is purely an African thing; where you must denigrate and malign your counterpart even when doi so is at the detriment of the common good...

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria's main opposition party, I believe, has not covered itself in that much glory over the past few days. One would have expected some level of appreciation and commendation for the growing democratic culture in Nigeria as witnessed by the free and fair elections in some states in the past few months.

Instead, all one hears are a cacophony of discordant voices.
Now, I am beginning to comprehend why Julius Nyerere asserted that African culture abhors opposition...

The national chairman apc chief john oyegun made a statement that I think he should be made to explain to the SSS and police and I quote


" We would make sure Nigeria doesn't survive another four years should pdp/jonathan win next year "

He should be made to explain to Nigerians and indeed security agencies what he means by this treasonable statement.

Yungwizzzy: Nigerians should be grateful to Patrick Sawyer and not curse him
It's quite unfortunate that Patrick Sawyer brought Ebola virus to Nigeria, but if you look at it from another angle you will see that he did more good than harm
If Mr Sawyer didn't bring this virus to Nigeria, the virus would have still found his way to Nigeria.
Imagine if the virus was imported from a remote source by travelers and illegal immigrants due to our porous borders, don't you think the virus would creep into Nigeria and slowly spread into the massive ignorant populace
But rather Patrick Sawyer who was a public figure was involved which prompted media attention and swift action from the federal government.
It was because Mr Sawyer was involved that is why market women, mechanics, bus drivers, literate and non-literate Nigerians are aware of the EDV epidemic
And trust Nigerians on such issues, we took it to another level and it spread like wildfire. Bbm, Twitter, Facebook, NAIRALAND were not left out on the campaign. TV and radio stations were also involved. At one point or the other people were adding salts, sugar and maggi to the story!!
My conclusion is: If the diseases came from an unknown source, due to lack of awareness of Nigerians it would have killed more people in hundreds before our "proactive" government would step in, but Mr Patrick Sawyer made people to stop unnecessary handshakes, hugs etc and started wearing of hand gloves and taking precautions.
