1. They are unlucky 2. They are like the English national team, good individually as players but poor collectively as a team. |
As for me, I don't believe those girls were kidnapped. Even the so called Americans came here and they could not find anything, whereas they were able to keep track and traces of Osama and Ghadaffi when they were running and hidding from one point to another. |

Super Eagles coach, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi has resigned his appointment after leading the team to the second round of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Speaking after the Eagles were eliminated by France in the round of 16 match in Brasilia, Monday, the Delta State-born tactician said it was time to move on after leading his country’s national team to the Africa Nations Cup trophy last year and the ongoing World Cup in Brazil. “I have to go back to my family and face fresh challenges,” Keshi said. Similarly, Super Eagles Captain, Yobo Joseph said he has had enough and can go no further as national team player. “I think I should give the younger ones the opportunity to forge ahead. I have nothing new to offer.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/06/breaking-news-keshi-yobo-quit-super-eagles/ |

Yes I think so. The total amout of change I have let go within the last 2 weeks should be over 1000 naira now. Even this morning, I left a change of 80 naira as a fastfood. |

Moderator please help me fix this into the right session if this is the wrong place. Also help me modify the subject. I need urgent advice on what to do. I am lodging in a hotel and made a reservation for 26 days starting from 10th Dec to 3rd Jan 2014. I was given a discounted rate of 9000 per night as against 10350 due to my long stay. I did not put into consideration the fact that I will be travelling for Xmas break. Due to the nature of my job, I will be travelling on 26th to get back on 5th Jan. Now I informed the hotel management that I want the days between 26th Dec and 3rd Jan which I won't be around (8days) move backward to start counting from 5th Jan to 12th Jan but the refused. Now I want to inform them to refund my money as I intend checking out entirely. Is there anyway I can get my money back for the remaining days if they keep refusing my appeal? I intend travelling on 26th. The complete money for the entire duration I intended staying has already been made. Fellow nairalanders pls I need urgent advice on what to do. Thanks Mods pls help me move to front page I beg. |
Well as for me, I just got a better paying job. I plan to tender my resignation in Jan. I just applied for a 2 weeks break which ended 2 days back. I knew my previous place will be going for xmas break 20th of this month. Besides, I wanted to also study my new place of work for a month. If I had submitted resignation letter, I would have forfeited my xmas and some other end of year bonus. In other words, I am getting double salary this month. I already got alert from my previous employers together with my cash xmas bonus and bag of rice while waiting for alert from my new company. After all, it was not stated in my employment letter that I give them prior notice. So Op if nothing of such is stated in your letter, I had advice you you collect ur last salary first before telling them. |

1.We have left PDP and merged with ACN. 2. No I was not part of agreement to merge. I am shocked my name was included. 3. we have not merged. Akande changed the wording 4. I joined ACN to save Rivers 5. We still open for negotiations A cacophony of noise and confusion. Please all of you including IBB go into ACN as GEJ will not give in to any one of your demands! # In OBJ's voice.....I just dey laff |
How come all the APC/ anti GEJ people are not blaming GEJ for this? If it was one pro APC/ anti GEJ person that was arrested in Benin Rep, we would have been hearing insults on the person of GEJ |
Phder: 50k for 30days? 9am-5pm job? Lord have mercy.Hard work is important to success but those that despise their small beginnings never live to see big endings |

Just got back home. I was almost tempted not to go because I went for the 6Am mass and the procession usually starts after the 8am mass. But I said to myself, what will I be doing at home. I got up, put on my slippers and voooom...off to church. It was fun all through. High point was when we met another parish procession on the road. Everyone was screaming and waving with smiles. |
Caracta: Is this feast the same as Corpus Cristi? This feast is different from Corpus Christi. Corpus Christi is usually celebrated sometime in June. Today's feast is "The Solemnity Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King Of The Universe". We go round town carrying and showcasing the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ (Corpus Christi) re-affirming our believe that Christ is the King of the Universe. In other words, Corpus Christi means Body of Christ. Which we ought to be taking round town/cities in June but we don't do it then because of Rains. |
