Can somebody just tell Nigerians to stop running football commentaries if they dont know how.
It became unbearably annoying during Nigeria's friendly match against the Koreans as the Nigerian who ran the commentary along side the foreign commentator kept on with so much bias. He failed to leanr from his partner who is a world class commentator. Dont they know how to be neutral?
Or is it just me?

This Idiot should be made to walk around the market unclothed after which his Manhood should be chopped off.  That is what should be in his Sharia Law. How many lives has he wasted in the name of sharia. Let us even admit that the Quran says nothing is wrong marrying even a 10 years old. Dont they have heads to know what is right and proper? Of course the same reason why they wont see any big deal in killing fellow human beings in the name of Jihad.

I dont care what the guys claims, the girl is 13 , the girl is not 13,  some how there is something to clarify. Anything controversial has a bit of truth and questioning in it.
He i just an idiot. Period.

Please dont mind my tone newmaster, It just feels sick to see that in a country of millions of people , such an idiot can rise to a position to govern a state.

I read with utmost amazement everybody's response to this this thread. The initiator of this posy had no other source than to say HR. Is that enough to believe anybody at all?
How come no newspapaer is saying this?
How come no other thread on the internet is saying anything close to this
How come people that work there are saying nothing like that is happening.

I just spoke with an Hr manager friend with the same bank and he confirmed to me nothing like that is happening.
I believe the poster is Just one of those people that gets challenged by how many people will respond to his post and so he cooks up something and everybody is eating it.

This is all not True. Find out for yourselves.

As a matter of fact, if they have any problem as regarding overstaffing, It will be a very wrong time for them do that as that will suggest to the entire public that there is fire on the mountain and of course you know what that means.

Finally, before I respond to any post in agreement I look closely at the name at which the poster is going by, and this poster suggest to me as a destructive person that means no good.

As a matter of fact I am going to dig into his past posts to see the kind of person he is.

newjay:
With the way those lads played against Tunisia, they wouldn't have performed any better even if they had a coaching combo of Mourinho, Hiddink, Ferguson and Capello. Our current eagles just don't have it. People seem to have forgotten how the Kenyans rubbished our defence before having the misfortune of conceding to Super Eagles. Let's be frank with ourselves, our team is not World Cup stuff. What we have are a bunch of sloppy, less than average players that have long been left behind in the ever developing artistry of football.
Newjay, can you remeber the attiude at which these same boys played under Siasia. (of course without people like Mikel in the team) It is a coach thing . Let us even for the sake of agument agree that those boys can not play any better than they did, Is it my Job to look for people that can play better than those boys. Then you just conluded the matter. Amodu does not know his Job as a coach. Coaching is not only siiting on the bench, looking confused and making silly substitutions but also sourcing for the right players. And that  is what Siasia did to prove himeself apart from Sacrificing his own finance to get that done.

Summary: That bros no sabi!
SportsRe: Amodu Blasts Kanu by Roadblock: 1:43pm On Sep 11, 2009
Mr Amodu, you just shot you self in the leg, and so you have successfully fried yourself.
Rule ! : As a leader, never ever pass the blame
Rule 2. Always take responsibility.
Rule 3:Admit you no sabi, when it appears so.

The truth of the matter is that We are not suprised at your complaints about people you claimed lacked good attitude towards the match, because you did this before we sacked you the last time and later you lobbied your way back.Who is supposed to instill discipline or right attitude towards anthing , is it not the teacher. (YOU).

Another truth is that we knew long  before now  that we are not going anywhere as long as you are the coach. I will prefer we even sit at home than go to the world cup and disgrace the whole nation.

Finally, no be you get the blame but those people that gave you the job for a certain percentage of your salary. It will have no other choice than to aks you to go when the whole nation starts asking for your head in a plate.
Learn from the pros bros, put down your pride and go to Oga Siasia for lessons at least for now before your next match that we are waiting for you to loose and the Axe you.

Hope you get to read this bros Amods.

Stay guled to the page.
CareerDressing For An Interview by Roadblock(op): 8:09pm On Sep 10, 2009
If a candidate can't put himself together in a professional manner, why should you assume he can put it all together on the job? Unless you look the part, don't expect an offer! It may sound harsh, but that's an accurate summary of most employers' feelings on this issue. It is a fair estimate that 9 out of 10 of today's employers will reject an unsuitably dressed applicant without a second thought.

Like it or not, your outward image, attitude, confidence level and overall delivery are all affected by the clothes you wear. The respect you receive at the interview is in direct proportion to the respect your visual image earns for you before you have a chance to say a word.

The correct image at an interview will give you a real edge over your competition. In fact your overall appearance and presentation may even leave a more tangible impression than words you say, as memory is rooted most strongly in pictures and impressions.

Of course the act of taking time to present an attractive professional image before your interview will add to your own sense of self esteem and confidence too. That is perhaps the greatest advantage of all.

Men

Men’s Suits,

The most acceptable colours for men’s suits are navy through to medium dark blue and charcoal through to light grey. The fabric should be 100% wool. The Darker the suit the more authority it carries. If you must wear striped suits, the stripe pattern must be muted and very narrow. Equally as important the colour of your suit should complement your own colouring and should be the one you feel comfortable wearing. Above all it is the quality and the fit of your suit that matter. Fashions change, but the fit and cut must complement your own build. Whatever style you choose, it should be fairly classic. Also the trousers should fit comfortably at the waist.

Rule 1: always wear a long-sleeved shirt.

Rule 2: always wear a white, cream or pale blue shirt.

Rule 3: Never Violate Rules 1 and 2

By white, I do not mean to exclude, for instance shirts with very thin red or blue pinstripes: these white shirts are acceptable, although not really first rate.

Men’s Neck wears: Ties

While an expensive suit can be ruined by a cheap- looking tie, the right tie can do a lot to pull the less than perfect suit together for a professional look. When you can’t afford a new suit, you can upgrade your whole look with the right tie. Pure silk tie makes the most powerful professional impact, has the best finish and feel and is easiest to tie well. Linen or cotton ties are too informal, wrinkle too easily and may only be worn during warmer weather. The length of your tie, when tied should extend to your trouser belt.

Shoes and Belts

Shoes should be either black or brown leather. Stay away from other materials and colours-they are too risky. Plain or brogue lace –ups are most conservative choice and are almost universally acceptable. Slightly less conservative, but equally appropriate, are smart slip-on shoes- not deck shoes.

The socks should complement your suit. Accordingly, they should be blue, black, grey or brown, They should also be long enough for you to cross your legs without showing off lots of bare skin and should not fall toward the ankle as you move.

Men’s Accessories

The right accessories can enhance professional image of any applicant, male or female; the wrong can destroy it. The guiding principle here is to include nothing that could conceivable be misconstrued or leave a bad impression. Never, for instance should you wear religious or political insignia in the form of rings, ties or pins. The watch you wear should be simple and plain. Preferably analogue with leather strap

Carry a white handkerchief.

Belts should match or complement the shoe you wear. The buckle of your belt must be simple

Men’s Jewellery

You may wear your wedding ring, other kids of rings- much less bracelets, neck chains or medallions – can send the wrong message

Is Mr President alright?
I saw some sane members of the sanate agued against the move with brilliant points but as we all know Nigerian Presidents have a way of getting the senate to agree on anything they want especially when you have majority of the house as you party member. The whole SHITSTEM is sick.

Just heard over the New that the senate just acccepted the President's request to give Saotome 10 Million Dollars interest free loan.Guys I dont have problem about helping a hardship striken country or being our brothers' keeper, as a matter of fact I commend the gesture and initiative of our president. My only concern is that , if we can afford to give an interest free loan that much to another counrty , how come we close our eyes to our own problems. How Come our Agricultural Sector, the Power sector, health are being negleted this long. I ran a thought on what 10 million dollars would do on our only route to the east ( the benin -ore road, where a journey that is not meant to take more than 3 hours could end up taken 7 - 10 hours and atimes a whole day, I thought of what that amount will do to our Health cares, Power Sector and Even to better the Lives and profession of our Police.
What baffles me more was how easy it was to agree to that by the senate, when it takes 5 months or more to agree on our National Budget.

The Last question on my mind is the timing, At this time of economic meltdown when everyone is trying to manage what is available, also knowing what is happening to our 0il reserves, Is this the right time for this? Well maybe I will be aable to answer my questions and curiousity after sampling your opinions.

watching that match is like watching ya'radua govt

in fact e be like say na obasnjo de coach the team
Very sensible post,
I wonder how in the name of politics in this country some people will appoint a once sacked coach to handle a team like Super Eagles.  Amodu had been in this same position before of which he failed woefully and then  later replaced.
Why would he be brought back.
If we must  go for an indeginous coach, Siasia can only be the best option because he had proved himself capable times without number. this is a coach for whom his players showed a very high degree of respect due to his selfless attitude, motivation and ever readiness to sacrifice even his own resources for his team. i am sure we all can remember how he was funding his team's training from his account. And we could resultantly see all that and his professional input in the way those boys played. they played like it was a do or die affair. what else are you looking for in a coach.

These same boys that displayed so much fire, now under the coaching of coach Mr Amodu played like the were forced and not in the right frame of mind. It was a struggle all through. Only one thing could be responsible. The Coaching and the influenced orientation that could only come from a coach.

Amodu is like a sosoliso air plane, he will not only delay us like yaradua, he will also take out the fire that used to b in those boys and creah their carrears.

I say give us the best coach Nigreria  has ever produced. Siasia

N.B
A coach that could ask Mikel to go to hell if he feels too big is the kind of no nonsense coach and  should be appreciated.

I dont know what that guy is doing in that team with his lazy manner of play. he reminds me of Yakubu. they are just business men that will only play well when the where their club colours. THEY SHOULD BE DONE AWAY WITH

My candid Opinion.

I believe all you that are casting stones are clean enough to do so. Thank God , Man no bne God o!
Well, Girl Beyond all your excuses there is one thing you fail to understand. And that is the fact that the problem is neither your brother-inlaw nor your perfume or how good you look or smell.
Also the solution is not in throwing away any perfume, what if it is your voice that turns them on will you stop talking to them?
The problem is you. You had a weekness that you failed to deal with and now the weekness has found you out. Even if all this stops/ends, your weekness will still find a way to deal with you in the future unless you deal with it.

Your solution is in dealing with your weeknesses and also be disciplined. This you can only achieve by turning to God.I I'm not talking about Just praying about it and going to church. I am talking anbout giving all to God. Your life and your lifestyle.

One should always think over every actions before taking them. Did you think about the fact that the only way you will be able to totally get the guilt off your neck and even true forgiveness is by telling your Husband?
God will see you through!

All hail the power of Jesus’

All hail the power of Jesus’ Name! Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown Him Lord of all.
Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown Him Lord of all.

Let highborn seraphs tune the lyre, and as they tune it, fall
Before His face Who tunes their choir, and crown Him Lord of all.
Before His face Who tunes their choir, and crown Him Lord of all.

Crown Him, ye morning stars of light, who fixed this floating ball;
Now hail the strength of Israel’s might, and crown Him Lord of all.
Now hail the strength of Israel’s might, and crown Him Lord of all.

Crown Him, ye martyrs of your God, who from His altar call;
Extol the Stem of Jesse’s Rod, and crown Him Lord of all.
Extol the Stem of Jesse’s Rod, and crown Him Lord of all.

Ye seed of Israel’s chosen race, ye ransomed from the fall,
Hail Him Who saves you by His grace, and crown Him Lord of all.
Hail Him Who saves you by His grace, and crown Him Lord of all.

Hail Him, ye heirs of David’s line, whom David Lord did call,
The God incarnate, Man divine, and crown Him Lord of all,
The God incarnate, Man divine, and crown Him Lord of all.

Sinners, whose love can ne’er forget the wormwood and the gall,
Go spread your trophies at His feet, and crown Him Lord of all.
Go spread your trophies at His feet, and crown Him Lord of all.

Let every tribe and every tongue before Him prostrate fall
And shout in universal song the crownèd Lord of all.
And shout in universal song the crownèd Lord of all.

[John Rippon added this verse in 1787]

O that, with yonder sacred throng, we at His feet may fall,
Join in the everlasting song, and crown Him Lord of all,
Join in the everlasting song, and crown Him Lord of all!

Angels from the realms of glory

Angels from the realms of glory,
Wing your flight o'er all the earth;
Ye who sang creation's story,
Now proclaim Messiah's birth:
Come and worship,
Come and worship,
Worship Christ, the newborn King!

Shepherds, in the fields abiding,
Watching o'er your flocks by night,
God with man is now residing,
Yonder shines the infant Light;
Come and worship,
Come and worship,
Worship Christ, the newborn King!

Sages, leave your contemplations,
Brighter visions beam afar;
Seek the great desire of nations,
Ye have seen His natal star;
Come and worship,
Come and worship,
Worship Christ, the newborn King!

Saints before the altar bending,
Watching long in hope and fear,
Suddenly the Lord, descending,
In His temple shall appear:
Come and worship,
Come and worship,
Worship Christ, the newborn King!
Hark the herald angels sing : Lyrics
Hark the herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!
Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled"
Joyful, all ye nations rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With the angelic host proclaim:
"Christ is born in Bethlehem"
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"

Christ by highest heav'n adored
Christ the everlasting Lord!
Late in time behold Him come
Offspring of a Virgin's womb
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see
Hail the incarnate Deity
Pleased as man with man to dwell
Jesus, our Emmanuel
Hail the heav'n-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Son of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings
Ris'n with healing in His wings
Mild He lays His glory by
Born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of earth
Born to give them second birth
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King

While Shepherds Watched:

While shepherds watched
Their flocks by night
All seated on the ground
The angel of the Lord came down
And glory shone around
And glory shone around

"Fear not," he said,
For mighty dread
Had seized their troubled minds
"Glad tidings of great joy I bring
To you and all mankind,
To you and all mankind."

"To you in David's
Town this day
Is born of David's line
The Savior who is Christ the Lord
And this shall be the sign
And this shall be the sign."

"The heavenly Babe
You there shall find
To human view displayed
And meanly wrapped
In swathing bands
And in a manger laid
And in a manger laid."

Thus spake the seraph,
And forthwith
Appeared a shining throng
Of angels praising God, who thus
Addressed their joyful song
Addressed their joyful song

"All glory be to
God on high
And to the earth be peace;
Goodwill henceforth
From heaven to men
Begin and never cease
Begin and never cease!"

The First Noel

The First Noel, the Angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the East beyond them far
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

And by the light of that same star
Three Wise men came from country far
To seek for a King was their intent
And to follow the star wherever it went.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

This star drew nigh to the northwest
O'er Bethlehem it took its rest
And there it did both Pause and stay
Right o'er the place where Jesus lay.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

Then entered in those Wise men three
Full reverently upon their knee
And offered there in His presence
Their gold and myrrh and frankincense.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord
That hath made Heaven and earth of nought
And with his blood mankind has bought.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

Silent night

Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!
Christ, the Saviour is born
Christ, the Saviour is born

Silent night, holy night
Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth "

Stood a lowly cattle shed,
Where a mother laid her Baby,
In a manger for His bed:
Mary was that mother mild,
Jesus Christ, her little Child.

He came down to earth from heaven,
Who is God and Lord of all,
And His shelter was a stable,
And His cradle was a stall:
With the poor, and mean, and lowly,
Lived on earth our Saviour holy.

For He is our childhood's pattern;
Day by day, like us, He grew;
He was little, weak, and helpless,
Tears and smiles, like us He knew;
And He cares when we are sad,
And he shares when we are glad.

And our eyes at last shall see Him,
Through His own redeeming love;
For that Child so dear and gentle,
Is our Lord in heaven above:
And He leads His children on,
To the place where He is gone.
O Little Town of Bethlehem : Lyrics
O little town of Bethlehem
How still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting Light
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight

For Christ is born of Mary
And gathered all above
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wondering love
O morning stars together
Proclaim the holy birth
And praises sing to God the King
And Peace to men on earth

How silently, how silently
The wondrous gift is given!
So God imparts to human hearts
The blessings of His heaven.
No ear may his His coming,
But in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive him still,
The dear Christ enters in.

O holy Child of Bethlehem
Descend to us, we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
Be born to us today
We hear the Christmas angels
The great glad tidings tell
O come to us, abide with us
Our Lord Emmanuel

O Come All Ye Faithful :

O Come All Ye Faithful
Joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem.
Come and behold Him,
Born the King of Angels;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

O Sing, choirs of angels,
Sing in exultation,
Sing all that hear in heaven God's holy word.
Give to our Father glory in the Highest;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

All Hail! Lord, we greet Thee,
Born this happy morning,
O Jesus! for evermore be Thy name adored.
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.

O Come O Come Emmanuel

O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Rod of Jesse, free
Thine own from Satan's tyranny
From depths of Hell Thy people save
And give them victory o'er the grave
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Day-Spring, come and cheer
Our spirits by Thine advent here
Disperse the gloomy clouds of night
And death's dark shadows put to flight.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Key of David, come,
And open wide our heavenly home;
Make safe the way that leads on high,
And close the path to misery.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, O come, Thou Lord of might,
Who to Thy tribes, on Sinai's height,
In ancient times did'st give the Law,
In cloud, and majesty and awe.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

The Holly and the Ivy :

The holly and the ivy,
When they are both full grown
Of all the trees that are in the wood
The holly bears the crown
O the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing of the choir

The holly bears a blossom
As white as lily flower
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ
To be our sweet Saviour
O the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing of the choir

The holly bears a berry
As red as any blood
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ
To do poor sinners good
O the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing of the choir

The holly bears a prickle
As sharp as any thorn;
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ
On Christmas Day in the morn.
O the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing of the choir

The holly bears a bark
As bitter as any gall;
And Mary bore sweet Jesus Christ
For to redeem us all.
O the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing of the choir

The holly and the ivy
Now both are full well grown,
Of all the trees that are in the wood,
The holly bears the crown.
O the rising of the sun
And the running of the deer
The playing of the merry organ
Sweet singing of the choir

Good Christian Men Rejoice :

Good Christian men rejoice
With heart and soul and voice!
Give ye heed to what we say
News! News!
Jesus Christ is born today!
Ox and ass before Him bow
And He is in the manger now
Christ is born today!
Christ is born today!

Good Christian men, rejoice
With heart and soul and voice
Now ye hear of endless bliss
Joy! Joy!
Jesus Christ was born for this
He hath ope'd the heav'nly door
And man is blessed evermore
Christ was born for this
Christ was born for this

Good Christian men, rejoice
With heart and soul and voice
Now ye need not fear the grave:
Peace! Peace!
Jesus Christ was born to save
Calls you one and calls you all
To gain His everlasting hall
Christ was born to save
Christ was born to save

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

God rest ye merry, gentlemen
Let nothing you dismay
Remember, Christ, our Saviour
Was born on Christmas day
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

In Bethlehem, in Israel,
This blessed Babe was born
And laid within a manger
Upon this blessed morn
The which His Mother Mary
Did nothing take in scorn
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

From God our Heavenly Father
A blessed Angel came;
And unto certain Shepherds
Brought tidings of the same:
How that in Bethlehem was born
The Son of God by Name.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

"Fear not then," said the Angel,
"Let nothing you affright,
This day is born a Saviour
Of a pure Virgin bright,
To free all those who trust in Him
From Satan's power and might."
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

The shepherds at those tidings
Rejoiced much in mind,
And left their flocks a-feeding
In tempest, storm and wind:
And went to Bethlehem straightway
The Son of God to find.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

And when they came to Bethlehem
Where our dear Saviour lay,
They found Him in a manger,
Where oxen feed on hay;
His Mother Mary kneeling down,
Unto the Lord did pray.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

Now to the Lord sing praises,
All you within this place,
And with true love and brotherhood
Each other now embrace;
This holy tide of Christmas
All other doth deface.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

Why would you spend 120k to rent a camera for a day , meaning iof you are using it for five days ou will be spending over 500k. Then if I will be the one to shoot your video I will charge you 800k or more for the edditing and other services.

I still rented an Hd camera last week in Lagos, and it was 15 k, This is the same one that is used for all the videos you see on MTV base. and is the one you will get to see anywhere for rentage except in some places.
A mini Jeep is Just like a crane it takes ariel shots but not as high as a crane would do it . It also has the ability to zoom in and out in motion kind of manner. The zoom power too is powerful. it goes for about 30- 40k in abuja. not sure of lagos.

That is not correct, HD camera  goes for 15/20k in lagos, I saw a place in abuja where it goes for even 10k/day,
Mini Jeep goes for 30k/day
Crane: 70/100k per day
Chroma is good. the in thing now, and saves you trouble and cost. You can finish your video inside one room with chroma.

I am into audio and video recording, just like sauce kid said, you have to consider all those and also costumes, you should not use any camera other than the HDV camera. Insist on this as the tells on the picture quality.

I do not belive 100k or anything in that region is enough for you to shoot any good video.
Some of the videos you see on the T.V cost not less than 500k. If you must work with an experienced hand budget between 200 and 300.
