Myndd44, someone made a post this morning about how muslims were trying to manipulate OSUN state election so that only a Muslim will win.
However, you seemed so jittery about it and made effort to silence it, labelling it as fake news, even though the pointers in that post indicates its verity.
Why were you quick to wrongly label that post?
Why were you so desperate to silence it?
Did the post revealed something you prefer to be concealed?
Or is someone (probably a powerful Muslim) controlling you and making you to do his bidding, compelling you to quickly silence that post before it spreads?
Myndd44, what's your real intention on the politics section of this forum? To uphold the truth like an unbiased umpire or promote the secret agenda of some powerful forces? |

If you do not mind, kindly show an immediate evidence (before 9am today) of your N50k savings (snapshot of available balance), I will be willing on your approval to give an additional N50k.
Your ability to save over three times of your monthly income (despite earning a very basic sum, below the national minimum wage) speaks volume and proves a lot especially in these trying times.
I pray other NLs can support you with the best advice and financial support.
Stay blessed!

englishmart: Anybody can start propagating this lies just to discredit the PDP This thing is not a lie. It is the truth. The muslims have received it as private messages and never knew it would leak out. But now that it has leaked out, they are trying to cover their tracks. To the muslims, this election isn't about good governance, but about religion domination. |

adem30: PDP agents have started circulating messages to Christians and claiming a Muslim mistakenly posted it to them, while ignorant Christians are also fooling around with it.
..........................
Just received this now:
Good morning, sir. I received this message this morning from a Muslim friend. I know he sent it to me by mistake.
Pls, lets circulate to all our christian brethren in all platforms. ************************
Assalamu alaikum Muslim brothers and Sisters. This is a clarion call to all of us in OSUN state, to listen and listen attentively. Another election is here, and as we always do, we must remind ourselves the following:
1. Our religion is superior to Christianity, therefore, we must vote for another son of ours in Islam- "Omo Iya wa ninun Esin Islam". Remember how Aregbesola propagated Islamic agendas in Osun state for the past 8 years. Remember how he favoured us in employment, promotion, higher rank in the civil service, secret interest free loan for Muslims etc. He did all this for us because of the religion of Islam.
2. A Christian governor will undo everything that Aregbesola has done for us all. If Omisore wins this coming governorship election, we all are in trouble. Maybe all of us didn't know that Governor Rauf Aregbesola brought Akeem Lasisi from Ibadan, Oyo State when there was no person who can beat the record of Prof. Olaitan, a Redeem Pastor in Osun State, and appointed him, Prof. Akeem Lasisi as the Chief Medical Director for Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital (LAUTECH), Osogbo over Prof. Olaitan a Redeem Pastor. This CMD Lasisi has done so much for us. The numbers of Muslims Doctors and Nurses has gone higher in Lautech during his time. You can imagine if one Professor Olaitan of Redeem Church is our CMD as it should have been, we wouldn't have such numbers of Muslims brothers and sisters working in Lautech, neither would we have such numbers of Muslims medical student in LAUTECH, because they wouldn't have even gain admission. The same thing is applicable to School of Nursing to mention just but few.
3. A Christian governor will undo the following. 1. Mosque in all our public schools most especially Christian Public Schools. Aregbesola allowed that we build mosque in all christian public schools. 2. He even allow promotion for Junior Muslim staffs so that Muslims can be Principal and Headmasters/Headmistress over their christian counterparts, the opportunity Christians doesn't enjoy. 3. Muslims opportunity in SUBEB over the Christian. A christian governor will undo all the opportunities Alhajis and Alhajas are enjoying in SUBEB.
WHAT WE MUST DO TO WIN THIS ELECTION.
1. Don't sell Gboyega Oyetola Ilerioluwa to Christian as a Muslim even though he is a fanatic Muslim and Alhaji. If you notice it, we con his name to look like a Christian name, so that Christians will not notice. Sell Gboyega to Christians as a Redeem Pastor so that we can have all the Votes of Redeem members. Don't let us deceive ourselves, their numbers are alarming, and if they vote for Omisore, a Christian, he will win!
2. Any time you hear that meeting is going on in the mosque tonight, leave what you are doing and attend. Bring as many that doesn't have Voters card including visitors. We have made necessary plans on how they will all are going to vote.
3. Whenever you want to vote, and the card reader doesn't recognise you, most especially on OMISORE'S major grounds, don't worry, vote, we have made arrangements on how that polling boots will be handled.
We will send another rounds of message tonight again. Do whatever we instruct you in all messages you receive.
THIS ELECTION IS NOT ABOUT SDP, APC, PDP, ITS AN ELECTION BETWEEN ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY. WE MUST KEEP ON RULING OVER THEM. IT'S OUR BIRTH RIGHT! NEVER AGAIN WOULD CHRISTIAN RULE IN OSUN STATE. MAY ALLAH BLESS YOU ALL.
SIGNED
- ALHAJI OYETOLA - ASSOCIATION OF MUSLIMS OBAS IN OSUN STATE. - ASSOCIATION OF ALL IMAMS - ASSOCIATION OF ALL MUSLIMS PRINCIPALS AND HEADMASTER/HEADMISTRESS - SUBEB, OSUN STATE. - LAUTECH CMD - OGBENI AREGBESOLA - PRESIDENT BUHARI.
N.B : Under no circumstances should a Christian read this message. Kindly show one evidence that this is a lie. Or do you want people to think it is a lie so that they won't take it seriously, whereas muslims would have been informed and already prepped to act on the information? I pray all these manipulative religion bigots die a sudden death |

angelboy01: Bro I am so happy you resigned from that job, The funny thing is that if you are working for someone you are only building their own dreams. They will make sure that person doesn't amount to anything. I have faced worse even got slapped while working for a guy at a Cafe on wrong accusations, he didn't apologize even after knowing the truth. That made me really angry and I had to Resign. When I told my guys they were really angry with me for not punching him unto say I be bad guy but no be everthing be fight. The guy later called and said why wasn't I at office and I told him I resigned, he was like whay the F**K. You didn't even drop a resignation letter. That was when my head sparked, I rained abuses on him and called him names. Do you believe that the Nigga started to apologize. After a month the cafe was closed down because no one wanted to work with him due to his attitude. I also worked with him for a month or so because me I no DE take shit. I am happy that am blessed now. All of this happened when I was still schooling at ilorin and I did all that just bro make extra cash. In conclusion I am happy that you are learning something to better yourself. If you are going to work for someone, make some money and build your own dreams. Bless you bro and have a lovely day . Sorry about your experience. Please what's the name of the said Cafe? Maybe is one I know |
Career › Re: My Experience Working For A One Man Business by rock003: 3:18am On Sep 15, 2018 |
ceeroh: I resigned from my job 2months ago (July). I worked with this firm for one full year. It was a rollercoaster ride. I used to be very proactive and full of energy, going all out to achieve things no matter what was at stake. When I took up this job last year, I was hoping to build a career and carve a niche for myself... But I was wrong. Before I resumed, a lot of people had resigned. Even on the day I resumed, I met just one staff on ground (he was trying to buy time before he eventually quits). So we were just two (2) in the office. It felt awkward because the environment wasn't challenging and competitive enough for me, but I had to do what was expected of me. Till the day I resigned, I was not found wanting in any aspect.. But I guess that was where everything went wrong. I was taken advantage of, used and manipulated. My boss was a chronic micromanager and very insecure.
Despite all these, I tried to allay his fears and made sure I did my best to assure him nothing would ever go wrong. He abuses us verbally with words I'm so ashamed to type here. When the other guy eventually resigned, I was left all alone with him. I took up his responsibilities coupled with mine. I was overworking myself every single day of the week. I became a shadow of myself and always felt sick whenever I get up from bed every morning. I was doing this for 4months till we were able to get a replacement for the guy. And believe you me, we were recruiting every month afterwards till I left because they were always resigning or should I say disappearing after the end of every month. So we practically had a new staff who would work for a month and disappear. And the reason was not far fetched, My Boss. He believes all job seekers are hungry and would take anything just for the cash (stipends). You can imagine a graduate bring sent on so many ridiculous domestic errands.
Though I'm not oblivious of the fact that it's not easy to set up a business here in Nigeria or even to pay salaries. I know what it takes, but that doesn't mean you should now use people like slaves. As a service provider, you should know how to handle your clients, but this man would talk to them anyhow, insult them and then expect me to fix the mess or else I won't get paid. And because I was ready to do anything just for the progress of the company, he believed I had no choice. But I'm the kind of person that hates being idle. Hence, the reason for not seeing it as a big deal. Then came a time, I was at my wits end, couldn't go on anymore. I lost all motivation and up till now.
One of the most painful thing I heard after I left was when someone from the office called to tell me what happened that day. Sometimes, I usually use my money to quickly do some little office stuffs if the man is not around. So there were lapses after I left, he now asked what was really going on. So the guy on ground told him what I usually did.. And his response He said if I knew I had money, why did I come to work then? Imagine. I felt so disappointed!
This is the same man that would refund you if you tell him you spent your money for the company, then go ahead to deduct it from your salary at the end of the month after looking for excuses or an offence you didn't commit.
Now, most people here in Lagos go through same or worse ordeal every single day. Leave home early, get abused at work, get home late. Looking rough and tired all for a pay that won't last up to 2weeks. I pity the married folks more, they can't resign/quit because they've got bills to pay, responsibilities (wife and kids), some even have girlfriends , they're stuck. I also have responsibilities and bills though, but thank God I'm still single.
This is the time to go all out and take chances, take risks and it will definitely pay off in the end. I've been able to focus more since I resigned, sleep well, eat well, learning some digital skills to boost my CV and running a little business of mine. Though it's not been easy, but I know I'm on the right path. Please bro, which digital skills are you learning? |
