Look, you guys should put your house in order rather than always trying to play the victim card. Even your Ohaneze has written Yoruba kings and advised them to BAN the Eze Ndigbo title (which they consider an aberration) outside Igboland. The worst part is that you all are always fighting each other over this useless title. Una no dey tire?? Na only una dey Nigeria? Ohaneze bans installation of the Diaspora Eze Ndigbo: http://www.authorityngr.com/2015/11/Ohaneze-bans-installation-of-the-Diaspora-Eze-Ndigbo/ Eze Ndigbo Title Threaten To Cause Trouble In Oyo: https://www.naij.com/615168-trouble-three-igbos-battle-eze-ndigbo-title-oyo.html |
seguno2:Perhaps you should petition the IMF to do an independent evaluation to satisfy your doubts. In other words, you are questioning the veracity of Ambode's statement? Dude, he's the governor, a reputed professional accountant, has the finance, economic technocrat and the requisite data and metrics to arrive at his position, and even the IMF or any other external body for that matter will depend on data from the state government to make their evaluation. So yes, nobody should know the GDP of Lagos state government better than Ambode. As far as I'm concerned, his word (as governor) is just as credible as an IMF or whatever. Besides, he's been boldly making similar statements about the GDP of Lagos in different fora for more than a year now and no one has yet to openly counter or disclaim his assertion. But you can always go ahead and sponsor a counter or independent evaluation. ![]() http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/11/lagos-emerged-fifth-largest-economy-africa/ http://nationalmirroronline.net/new/lagos-gdp-to-hit-355bn-by-2025-ambode/ http://allafrica.com/stories/201511162285.html |
seguno2:According to IMF ( http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/10/nigeria-remains-africas-biggest-economy-imf/ ), Nigeria's overall GDP was measured at $415-billion. Ambode said that Lagos GDP value dropped from $131-billion to $91-billion as a result of the fluctuation in Foreign Exchange, so that means as at this point, Lagos GDP is 22% of Nigeria's economy. Compare that to the state of California's GDP (largest contributor to U.S GDP) which is $2.5-trillion while the total U.S GDP is $16.7trillion (representing 15% of America's GDP). California is reputed to be the 6th Largest economy in the world. |

dEastActivist:Yinmu. Yorubas of those days weren't any more or less treacherous than the Israelite tribes that occupied Palestine in the biblical times as recorded in the bible with their many internal wars and strife. Funny thing is that your likes would rever those Israelites of old while talking smack about Yorubas. E jus dey pain you say we have such an extentive and richly recorded history replete with dramatic and epochal intrigues akin to those recorded in the hebrew old testament biblical texts, unlike una wey have to do join join to come up with that sorry excuse that you call history. ![]() |
LordAdam7:Get off your high horses Mr. ITK. The Yorubas of those days weren't any more or less treacherous than the Israelite tribes that occupied Palestine in the biblical times as recorded in the bible with their many internal wars and strife. Funny thing is that your likes would revere those Israelites of old, who were eventually uprooted, conquered and sent into wholesale slavery by foreign powers, literally excised from their homeland for centuries according to biblical accounts, while talking smack about Yorubas -- atleast Yorubas still managed to repel and even defeat the fulanis in spite of their so-called 'treachery'. Rubbish and nonsense. |
FSBoperator:An 'Afonja' must've snatched and thoroughly kpanshed your woman or something coz you just luv that name, don't you? Cubeet:You must be a dolt. Must you assholez always drag Yorubas into your foolishness?? That guy you are exchanging banters with is your fellow kinsman from Anambra. He's well known here. Why you have to bring Yoruba people into your nonsense defies logic. |
Cubeet:
|
Cubeet:LMAO! Boy stfu. You are an ignorant fowl. Your people can never make it unless they emigrate especially to the SW (the best side). What you wrote up there has exposed your foolishness and ignorance. Was that not why 3 of your kinsmen were ready to kill each other over who becomes the Eze Ndigbo in Oyo state? Or why your kinsmen refused to leave Akure after their leader was flogged silly at the Deji's palace? The more you talk the more stupidd you sound, for real. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/10/three-factions-contesting-eze-ndigbo-title-in-oyo/ http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/191989-ndigbo-in-akure-eats-humble-pie-begs-deji-over-misconduct-of-eze.html |
Noneroone:Lol. The erosion-ravaged SE cities are only the 'most modern and flourishing' in the deluded minds of you flatti.es. If you all are so well off why are you emigrating to other 'less flourishing' parts of the country as economic migrants?? Sotay una begin fight over Eze Ndigbo title for Ibadan. Flourishing and most modern my a$$. ![]() |
Cubeet:Wow! You are a genius. You just figured out the secret to the success of Lagos, which according to you are non-indigenes. But what can Anambra and other SE states do to attract these all-important non-indigenes since they are so crucial to prosperity and success? Nna eh, SE is in deep shyt o because even the natives are fleeing that entire region in droves, not to talk of non-indigenes flooding the place like they do the SW, the best side. . Omo, i don't think there's any hope for you guys ever developing o. God punish erosion. ![]() |
Lol. Na strategy to control the crowd. |
PentiiumProf:Lol. Those 'investments' are all in the form of MOUs guy, nothing concrete on ground yet. Osun's Aregbesola signed more MOUs running into billions of dollars than Obiano can ever dream of but only a handful of them ever even kicked off -- most them won't see the light of day under Willie Obiano's tenure #Fact. Until those MOUs translate into real projects, Obiano is just doing what most other governors have been doing since imo river -- signing MOUs to make it look as if he's 'working'. ![]() |
Good news for all the states.

post=51933047:Like seriously dude, why must you tint the color of your pix?? Wetin you dey hide for goodness sakes. All those glorified 'high-rises' in Anambra where you all pack yourselves like expired sardines isn't the way to go. Come Ogun state come see how to build proper multi-storey buildings with standard parking spaces and civilize yourselves for a change. ![]() 1 & 2. Mainland Park, Ogun 3 & 4. post=51932547:Yinmu. Glorified shythole with color correction to hide the brown roofs and stuff . I normally wouldn't even indulge you but as the village champion that you are, from time to time I think it's o.k to shut you up and make a monkey of you. Na the Ogun state, obodo oyinbo wey dey give una migraine be dis, just small taste . ![]()

post=51932172:Which Anambra? This brown roofed ones below? Abi you think say those GRA pix can fool everybody. You are a typical loud-mouthed flathea.ded fowl. Guy, just one estate in Ogun state will humble your punk a$$. That t-fare offer still stands o. ![]()

InyinyaAgbaOku:Federal govt. owes Ogun way MORE than any other state in the federation, which was the crux of my argument. Fact check before you embarrass yourself next time: http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/03/23/fg-owes-states-n580-5bn-for-roads-rehabilitation/ The Committee chaired by Hon. Toby Okechukwu (Enugu PDP) and Hon. Babangida Ibrahim (Katsina APC) heard that Ogun state is leading the list with N222.9 billion.Of course, every good looking and modern structure in the SW must be owned by a non-Yoruba -- that is according to our resident nincompoops from the East side . Do you even understand how stvpid you sound when you harbour such nonsense let alone blurt it out?? You lots keep trying so hard to convince everyone how more developed you are than the SW, you expend every opportunity to deride and slander the SW of being less developed than your eldorado, yet una no gree siddon for SE. ; yet una efforts have so far not stemmed the tide from your end to the best side (the West side ). Oluwa, abeg help these people coz upon all their bad belle, you still dey bless the best side (the West Side). ![]()
|
post=51925435:Lol. This Obiano hireling don show face. Na bad belle go kill you. You call a state that has become the de facto industrial hub and one of the fastest growing real-estate sector of the country 'backward'?? You can remove approximately 3 Anambra states from Ogun and the state's population is already more than double your backwater market state (if the recent released data on phoneline subscriptions is anything to go by) so naturally that alone should be a pointer to how more developed such a state is than your glorified market state but then again expecting you to understand that would be asking too much of an ignoramus like you.You know I once said it that you're a dropout simply coz you hardly ever coherently put your points across, and your submissions are always laced with grammatical errors. Obiano needs to get a better qualified and eloquent e-rep coz you are a disgrace, dude. |
InyinyaAgbaOku:Abeg Which useless FDI are igbo biz part of?? See dis okoro feeling important. Put a price on this igbo FDI please. E.g, LADOL is a Yoruba owned company and is set to invest $5-billion dollars in Lagos. http://thenationonlineng.net/ladol-invest-extra-5b-nigeria/ Why not list these igbo FDIs that can even remotely compete with that. Igbo businesses in Lagos combined sef are not worth that much. ![]() Abi Shey na Alaba cd sellers , Fake spare parts dealers or gala hawkers? Abeg which one exactly because Lagos govt, Ogun govt and Manufacturers association of Nigeria doesn't capture such inconsequential traders in their report of billion dollars worth of FDI entering Yorubaland. When our states organize investment forums or go out to poach investors, igbo businesses don't even feature on their list of interested parties so quit flattering yourself negro. As for debt you keep harping about, do you think it is easy shouldering the burden that comes with harbouring vagabonds from the East?? Ogun state alone is being owed over N200-billion in refunds for fixing federal roads alone, roads plied by your vagabond ecomic refugee brethren to and from your region. That money is more than enough to offset her debt and leave some change. Instead of taking panadol for SW debt headche, why not address why your able bodied youths are fleeing your region to the same SW as economic migrants. |
kettle84:Yinmu. Imagine this illiterate naming Alaba and Ladipo traders and newspapers. . I might as well have listed Yoruba masons, carpenters, tailors, taxi drivers, welders, plumbers and other artisans. Wetin concern me with these 'pure water' businesses (as Ifeanyi Uba himself described such igbo businesses) listed here? All those businesses put together are not even worth up to Globacom alone, not to mention Oando. Dangote's investments in Lagos and Ogun trumps igbo businesses put together yet we don't hear any noise. Before Innoson came into existence, Proforce located at Ogun state had been manufacturing military vehicles and gears for the FG without making as much noise as you loudmouth empty vessels. The Yoruba owned businesses and industries in various sectors in Yorubaland including Lagos dwarfs this useless list you put up there. If that is the best you all have to offer then una kere si number. Go back and come up with something more impressive. |
InyinyaAgbaOku:Yinmu. I asked you to mention one SE state that is anywhere near Ogun in economic viability, importance and standing if dem born your papa well. Ogun debt has not stopped FDI from pouring in more than all SE states combined, neither has it stopped its GDP and IGR from performing better than your region's best perforners. There are more Igbos moving en masse as economic migrants to Ogun than Ebonyi and Anambra combined as we speak -- #Fact. Until your people start relocating en masse to your erosion ravaged and condemned enclave you can only blow useless hot air that you lots are known for. No one takes you people seriously here simply coz na useless mouth. Agba ofifo lasan. |
OBAFEMIawolowo:What 'truth' are you talking about?? I gave you an assignment to consult google and come back to tell us who the current commissioner for budget planning in Lagos is and instead of you to either admit you goofed or shut your trap you are back here still talking crap. Abeg fvck off my mention. |
