Most Nigerian schools don't give transcript by hand, In my own case, when i applied for my Msc at Unilag, i was able to receive my transcript by hand, i made photocopies and kept it save and that i what i have been using since then for my applications.

In your own case, you can apply to stirling and then request your school to send transcript to where you intend to use it.

Please i am going to Stirling University and i have a couple of questions to enable take appropriate decision on location of accommodation;

1. Are there job opportunities in Stirling
2. Should i rent an accommodation in Edinburgh or Glasgow (or any other commercial hub) for better job opportunities. Is this feasible putting transportation into consideration.

The school have nice student accommodation, the cheapest is £91/week and up to about £151/week.
Some student live at Glasgow due to numerous job availability and some live at Edinburgh as well and they school at the University of stirling.
Glasgow to Stirling is 40mins by car and about 55mins by train.

If you want to start september application, You should start now.

No need to get a transit visa provided you aren't leaving the airport for Qatar airways.

Spent almost the whole day waiting for my ticket to be validated by the bank even though CBN has approved my request online.

On the form A, how did you input your ticket number? after the 3 numbers, did you put hyphen ?, if you did then you need to remove the hyphen

No need for return ticket if you are a student and you need PTA, go online to fill the form submit it then go to the bank with your admission letter, one way ticket and your passport with visa inside it.
Many people are not aware that for student you can actually have a one way ticket to process your form A

Hello Fam, My pre-departure COVID test turned out to be positive and I have started taking medication ever since today makes the forth day and I'm supposed to take the medication for 6 days. Pls who know the best time I can go for re-test to be negative. Pls I kindly seek your advise. Cam my retest turn negative immediately after the sixth day? Or when is the best time for me to go for a retest. Thank you.

There are ways to go about it if you have been fully vaccinated before your test comes out positive. Kindly confirm if you have been fully vaccinated to further advise you on what to do.

Yes your mail must be liked to the BVN because each time you want to login in, they will send OTP linked with your bvn.

Just got to know that day of arrival counts as day 0 don’t know that before

You are still okay if you have arrived and taken the test the next day.

"Evidence of activities since your postgraduate diploma in engineering in 2011, please provide evidence of employment of further studies"

This is exactly what I got.

Please , what else do I include aside CV, employment letter. Can I also include the professional reference letter I got for my school admission?

Just send in your NYSC certificate, all employment letters, promotion letters and also further studies you have taken if you have any, you can also do a small introduction letter to explain certain things provided you need explanation on something.

You can use any government approve test center just like Afriglobal, book online, its about 51k

Please what type of card is needed for a paid mail? Dollar or Naira card.

Use your normal atm card, they will deduct about 1,800 naira but I will advise you not to send any paid mail, you will get your visa approved as long as you didn't lie in your application and you are a genuine student.

Go to CBN site, search it on Google then register with your bvn, you will have the opportunity to purchase £ at 553 naira and $ at 411naira

Yes it is okay for approval, in my own case, I went ahead to submit my professional certifications both expired and not expired, I also attached my previous work ID card because I still have it with me.

About job opportunity, I can't say anything. But for university of Stirling scholarship yes you will be given £4000 in scholarship when you apply. I got my visa to study here approved last year.

Majority of you will ask this question and disappear this is not good. I can remember when people were receiving this email last month or also. Till date none of them has come back to help.

They are suspecting that you have used an arranged POF.
Always good to carryout transaction on your account occasionally, this will show that the money belongs to you.

For visa application, is it a good idea to include employment letter, Nysc certificate and promotion letter if you have a study gap of 7years to avoid NSF mail or should I just apply with my CAS statement of Acc and degree ?

Don't include it when it is not required. Getting NSF mail is a usual thing, the vo want to know more about your work experience to address the study gap then you can now include everything you have like NYSC, appointment letters, ID card, promotion letter etc. Don't include your pay slip. Don't complicate matters 4ur sef.

Before you proceed to book one-way flight, you will need to have PTA, Personal travel allowance which you can get via FORM A at cheap rate from the CBN because it is now online stuff, One of the requirement is to have a two-ways flight ticket not one-way except you wish to purchase from Aboki at non control price.

Biometrics was done on 25th November (priority application). Till now it’s still at DMC. I have sent 2 paid mail and made a call through to them. Their response was that a decision has NOT yet been made.

I asked if they need any supporting documents to process my application but they said NO. That they would have mailed me if they need anything.

Yesterday I sent another paid mail to them and I got this. Does it mean it will be worked on or what else do you advise I do.

You should only send a paid mail once, not multiple times as you have done, when they reply you, you will see if you need to send any detail or message please reply to this mail.
There are few more people in your shoes.
