Romance › Re: 8 Things Stingy Guys Present As Birthday Gifts For Their Girlfriend by ronald4lif(m): 6:38pm On Oct 14, 2015
Omo, anyone who does any of these isn't the typical stingy guy o. A typical tight-fisted guy won't even bother and the most he can do is send a happy birthday message. They even avoid any outing on that day as that would lead to expenses.

Abeg, any guy who does any of these dey generous and na husband material. cheesy

This writeup is indeed classic and epic I must say. You took most readers from mental and religious slavery to a high level of freedom and responsibility

robosky02:
the summary of your thought is you love babay mamas right

well i must point out to you it devalues a woman

back in the days as you said our parents dont dare touch a woman until they pay her Full dowries and get the consent and blessing of both parents.

but this days its a shame you meet her after one show somewhere ... and she gets pragnant next you come to the media with picture of your baby mama and kid

why not do the honourable thing pay the bride price which is very cheap in some culture,
get the blessing of her parents and your and let a pastor bless you both (if you cant afford a wedding gown) the key is the blessin.

in that way you secure the woman and her future. not next 2 years another shows up and you clam i never married you

ladies what your take
No where in my post was I supporting or encouraging the practice of baby mamas. I was however, stressing on the need to be less judgmental, embrace individual choices and dismiss the popular conception that celebrities are the only ones who indulge in the practice.

And while agreeing with you that a man should perform marital rites and pay dowry of their women before procreating I disagree that a marriage must be only seen as complete after a church wedding or blessing from a pastor like you put it, has been conducted.

Just like I said in my previous comment, there have been marriages around the world and in Nigeria before religion was established in our country and unless you have any discountenance to prove those marriages weren't 'blessed' then parading it as factual is erroneous.

Everyone deserve the right to exercise their independent freedom of the type of wedding they desire, be it in a church, traditionally or a court setting, and for one not to perform a church wedding doesn't make their union less merited than others. P'square can have white wedding at their own convenience or decide never to, it doesn't demerit who they are and what they share with their respective wives.
Family › Re: The Sudden Uprise Of Baby Mamas In Nigeria by ronald4lif(m):
Your piece is laced with loopholes, ignorance and error even as you displayed your inability to respect others choices and decision. By failing to embrace others life choices and undermining their unshackling liberty you became shortfall of any right to parade your personal opinion on others.

Your write up became nauseous when you suggested P'square are not properly wedded to their wives because they haven't performed a ceremonious white wedding ritual. This disjointed assertion and display of arrogance to venture into someone's union without a need to do so speaks volume of your ignorance and lack of elementary knowledge of the matrimonial institution.

Prior to the invention of white wedding which from it inception was unconnected to religion but became customary after Queen Victoria of England wore a white gown to her court wedding and with Christians adopting the dressing code into it system there have been marriages around the world. The practice of wedding has been in force even before the advent of religion so for you or anyone to suggest that anyone who didn't wed in a church is not properly married is naive and ignorance. I don't know about you but my great grand parents and ancestors were properly married to their respective wives the traditional method without church wedding and before the importation of Abrahamic doctrines to our clan.

Lastly, the issue of baby mamas isn't confined to our celebrities like you're indicating and being insinuated by many. There have been baby mamas even before the booming of Nigeria entertainment industry and it has been a prevalence even among the 'common' class and non celebrities. I know of countless baby mamas who have never been entangled with any celebrity.
Family › Re: (VIDEO) Bride Leaves Own Wedding To Respond To Car Crash by ronald4lif(m):
Impressive. Really impressive. If only every human were as compassionate to others the world would have been a better place for us all to dwell in. Even on her big day she still felt the exigent need to abet in saving a life.

Somewhere in the world, precisely Nigeria, no one would dare attempt such samaritan act, for fear of being victimized by our lame duck police men and might even get convicted in our kangaroo courts as the malefactor and cause of the collision with them shamelessly soliciting for 'egunje' bail out funds.
Romance › Re: Bitter Love Between Women And Men How Did We Get Here? by ronald4lif(m): 12:07am On Oct 14, 2015
Hmmm deep. Not sure of what to say as you've said it all and calls for sober reflection on the way we view one another. People have overtime had terrible experience from their relationship that they now place everyone on same pedestal and define everyone with these negative experiences. There's so much stereotypes that we have grown to consider factual and there's just nothing that can be done to remedy the situation.

Reading through comments from social media and observing the manner in which we demean each other one would conclude that the only good guys/girls in the world are our relatives, every person is an alien and ominous. We just have to live with it, unfortunately.

I'm sorry to say but your friends are right. A fool is what it is.
Romance › Re: Qualities Of A Gentleman (Most Ladies View) by ronald4lif(m):
All true. Whenever a lady calls one a gentleman there's a need to be worried and have a reflection of their disposition in dealing with her. Like the OP rightly pointed out a gentleman is a stooge and one they can control and manipulate to do their bidding always.

The flip side is that they detest these 'gentlemen' and find them unappealing but rather are attracted to ignoble men.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Youths Are Not Prepared For Leadership by ronald4lif(m):
One got to agree judging from the fact that the youths are actively insulting each other on social media and contending who can hurl the most effective throbbing with contemptuous rudeness obviating the need of brainstorming on critical and topical issues that can bring to light development and policies that directly affect us as a nation.

Each time one rummages through the politics section of this board or on any blogosphere they'd be amassed by the submissions and average thought process of the Nigerian youths. Rather than engage on issues they revel on party, ethnic and religious sentiments and with contributions laced with hate against one another that makes one wonder how Lord Lugard was able to liason among our ancestors and facilitated the birth of the union.

A closer look of the average Nigerian youth and a clinical assessment of their independent logical thought process I'd conclude that they're unfit to be leaders nor future of a budding country like ours with exigent need of a change (not the type bandied by the political jesters of APC). Let the present oldies pioneer this country till when the youths are ready to embrace contemporary and positive thinking. Till then...

Why do hospitals always decline to treat patients with gun shot injuries or accident injuries?. This is really annoying and the government should start sanctioning hospitals that refuses to treat patients under any circumstance. A timely intervention from the team of medics could have resuscitate this woman's life. Poor baby and her mum, farewell from this despicable world.

I'm yet to understand the actual use of the Nigerian police force to the citizenry. What these men in black has a wholesome excellence in doing is to terrorize the masses whose taxes keeps them afloat. The NPF has never been useful to this country and never comply to their ethos but rather has been a torn in the flesh of the people. Every Nigerian has had terrible experience from these jesters. Always arriving on the crime scene after the perpetrators must have left. I have nothing but pity for the good and hardworking people of Nigeria for placing their security on these bandits in uniform. My take is they should be disbanded since they're of no value to us.

I'm the least person to sought for his opinion in such situation but nonetheless I'd say it in it undiluted form. If I were him all the gifts, present and any pecuniary gesture would be suspended till further notice. It's a waste of time, energy and investment even as it's boring to be involve in a sexless affair. But this is me and my opinion, he should draw his conclusion himself.

It appears those who never schooled abroad stands little or no chance to be ministers in Nigeria. From the educational qualifications of the nominees thus far and from the resume of past ministers it seems almost all of them bagged at least one degree abroad or have schooled in the diaspora.

This doesn't spell well for our citadel of learning as it's capable of influencing more influx of Nigerian students to migrate abroad for studies.

Nairaland General › Re: 10 Categories Of People You Will Meet At Baba Ijebu (lotto) Shops by ronald4lif(m): 5:06pm On Oct 13, 2015
Lol. The ones who always lament how a game they wanted to play was drawn on the results. They say things like they knew 8 or 9 was a 'banker' but didn't know why they never played it. And the ones who tells you they have a 'surebet' game and will share with you if only you give them a certain amount or also play for them. I like baba ijebu kiosk, so many fun and jokes goes on there.

She doesn't have respect for you and you aren't discipline enough that's why she keeps repeating it even after severally cautioning her. Next time she tries it when you're together in the car, kick her out but not without ensuring the place isn't an isolated or dangerous area. When in the house with you and she does it then walk her out. You have to take extreme measures if you want her to stop. I think she thinks you're soft and kidding that's why she doesn't bother.

I'm also interested in knowing why some of them do this. I've had experience of some requesting for favors when we're no longer together and not like we both communicate often. Don't know what that sh1t is.

Be realistic. What do you expect him to do if the incident happened at gun point? Resist and attack them and risk being killed abi. Then the wife would move on after mourning for a few weeks and start fvcking someone else.

Romance › Re: Photo:when You Finally Meet That Lady That Told You She Doesn't Date Broke Guys by ronald4lif(m): 12:02pm On Oct 13, 2015
joseph1832:
Pettiness you say? You ran into someone who refused dating you because you were broke, now you're okay she comes running... you splash water on her and you call it petty? Come on bro, I believe the girl is the petty one here not the guy.

Truth be told, any girl who can't date me when I'm broke shouldn't be dating me when I'm rich. Such girls are just good for one thing, f*#king!. Splashing water on her is something I won't do.
I also agree that any girl who refused to date me when broke is only good for fvcking when rich. But to go about splashing water on her like this guy did, and which you agreed is infantile and depicts one with esteem challenges. What he's done here shows he's rich but very poor, mentally. Mental penury is worse than poverty.

Let's also put into cognizance the fact that just like we set standards for women, they also have stipulated standards for us, and of which money is pivotal.
