How is her being upset a problem? You don't want the relationship anymore as attested by you, she's been calling and begging should change nothing. Except if you want to continue being played then good luck.

Romance › Re: Why Do Nice And Faithful Guys Always Get Heart Broken by ronald4lif(m): 8:43pm On Oct 08, 2015
Nice guys aren't only boring but excessively caring, subordinate and easily carve into demands and do the bidding of their girlfriend most of the time. This gives the lady the impression that you've got no or very limited option apart from her. When a lady knows you've got no other option apart from her you become her play thing. And likewise for guys.

It's natural that when you show too much love and affection a lady finds you unexciting and predictable. Women aren't always impress by nice gesture, you need to be in-between, discipline and tough even as you try to balance it with meekness.

He's sick and need medical attention, urgently. It's best he start burning calories or risk battling heart related conditions and kicking the bucket from sleep apnea. I won't be surprised some if ignorant individuals will miscontrue this as a sign of good living.

Xiadnat:
If marriage impedes individual freedom and personal growth, then you married the wrong person. Your life partner should want you to be a better person. If you are with the right person, you as couple should grow together, you as an individual should grow as well.

Compromise yes! Restriction No.
Does an ideal partner or the right person ideology exist? How can someone be seen as right to another when they aren't right themselves? Relationship/marriage isn't about finding the right person but becoming the right person to one's self.

How possible is it to find the ideal one when human's innately tend to find faults in others to give ourselves a lift and accentuate our success thereby shadowing our misdemeanor. Thus, it becomes almost impossible to find the ideal one unless they're congruent to us. Even at that, someone that is identical to us but lack our flaws would not be a good match.

I think the ideal partner exist for all of us but how do we meet them when most people are attracted to the unavailable persons. We don't find the ideal ones attractive like we do for the unavailable ones.

In perspective, let's assume a single successful career-driven doctor is searching for an ideal one. His/her cursor would only navigate around an equally career driven individual or an educated fellow and would never look the way of an unskilled, uneducated and pauperise fellow because they're considered as unideal from the set go even without getting to meet and know them.

You'll agree with me that being an ideal one is beyond education, shrewdness, mouth-watery wages, beauty/cuteness, race and general success. In view of this, what are the odds to find an 'ideal one' who'd fit into our predispose choices and standards?
Romance › Re: Which Girl Do I Decide On? by ronald4lif(m): 3:18pm On Oct 08, 2015
Are you presently in the country or out of Nigeria? If outside go for the new lady but if back in Nigeria or plan to return and resettle there in the nearest future go for the psychology friend.

Avoid getting involve in a distant relationship and save yourself from drama and deceit even as you'd likely cheat with either of them who reside in same environment as you. Your choice should be based on where you're presently domiciled or where you intend to retire to.
Romance › Re: Reason For The Growing Number Of Single Ladies... by ronald4lif(m):
Well, in this age where a woman can kick a man out of his home, a house he must have built before marrying, men have got to be cautious.

Men seem to have got a lot to lose in marriage than women and with some clueless left-wing governments in the West pandering to pseudo feminists agitations who seek for equality but looked the other way on men's plight and in situations that gives women the edge.

An age where after struggling, working extremely hard and build a career for one's self with rewarding financial perquisite, a woman can initiate litigation and get awarded more than half of your asset in alimony settlement then men have got to be careful.

Perhaps, men have also realised that marriage is not as exciting as paraded but rather a union that impede individual freedom and restrict personal development even as its always filled with puerile arguments. It's not a rosy ride and the growing inability of humans to endure, take responsibility and tolerate one another has further entrench the fear of getting married. Interesting times.
Romance › Re: 10 Nigerian Women Open Up On How They Lost Their Virginity by ronald4lif(m): 1:36pm On Oct 08, 2015
Chai guys ain't loyal. None of them were able and interested in preserving the affair after deflowering the babes. Seems like a 'hit and quit it' clique.

The ladies were economical with the truth sha. In some cases, once you deflower a girl they start giving you attitude and are quick to remind you of how they gave their pride to you at any slightest misunderstanding even when it's unwarranted. Just like it is generally with women after having sex with them for the first time, they'd always feel and question whatever action you embark on is because you've had your way.

Such action geared to attract sympathy and play victimisation card is what usually drift guys away from a relationship not necessarily coz they've had their way or deflowered you like it's widely believed.

It's not a matter of ego. Oliseh humiliated him and also insulted his late mother. undecided
Not exactly true. Regardless the prevailing circumstance that led to him being strip off captainship he'd have still throw in the towel. The main grouse here is ego and the perceived shame of feauturing in the team without his habitual captain role.

I'm sure his quitting the team didn't come as a surprise to Oliseh as stripping him off his captain assignment is a brazen attack undermining his person and an indirect message that his service is no longer needed in the team.

I respect his decision and I'd do same if I were him as I can't be part of a team after being demoted to a regular player from the role of a captain. Oliseh's decision was influenced by his ego too and everyone have egos needless to say affluent guys like them.

Well, when one reads the bigotry and lack of objectivity in comments on NL and other mainstream media they'd vehemently disagree and oppose the suggestion of youths betrayal by the president. If we the youths who are expected to bring about positive change can be so bland and parochial in topical issues then we lack the jurisdiction to question the president judgment and to partake in governance or hold any strategic public office.

Until we're ready to reason like youths of sane climes who jettison party, religious and ethnic sentiments when addressing issues that can bring about progress and development in their country we should keep shut. Till then...

It is not religious doctrines that frowns against pre-marital sex rather it is God!
Fornication is a sin against God and should be shelved till after marriage.

Marriage is honourable with be undefiled....smiley
What are you saying? Did God communicated to you or anyone he disdain premarital sex? How did you know he frowns against it if not from what is obtainable from the bible and other religious books? Are you attempting to disconnect God from religious doctrines?

Undefile in what context? Before the advent and widespread of religion unmarried/married couple have been mating. Sex is older than the marital institution so the notion that premarital sex is unholy is negligible. It can only be assume so by religious folks not for free thinkers and unreligious fellas.

Today you hear them saying, I can't date broke guys, tomorrow they say, they can't date jobless dudes, next tomorrow, they say they can't date a guy whose salary is below 6 digits... Dude, I'm trying to be as civil as possible but I can see that the hatred in you knows no bound. I am not here to play the victim card. Note that I used the words "bashing" and "shaming". It is not the same thing as giving constructive criticism that would really motivate a person to change their negative behaviours. It is only cyber-bully.
But wait a sec, are you not being hypocritical here. This is a negative vice I pointed out but you are here being defensive, continually putting the blame on women. Na wa o.
I pointed out a bluff of yours and rather than take it in good faith you conspicuously became defensive, which it's not uncommon with your cliques. It became pertinent I press further to expose your false feminism tirades.

Relating on equal pedestal with women has never been a problem, feminism is the problem. It's an extreme charade that has nothing to do equality but rather design to give women edges and favoritism over men. We'd continue to expose the movement for the fraud that it is.

The vice you highlighted is something I have been fighting for and on daily basis I ruffle feathers with members of my sex to tone down the women hating. Countless women including some known feminist on NL can testify to my claims. I do it at my own command, and don't have to tailgate your post.

Your anger card doesn't also fly, if anyone is angry should be you who doesn't want to state female prejudice let's put to test what you really want.

We're not brought up to shift the buck of our problem to someone else. We take responsibility and are aware of our prejudicial treatment just as we understand that nothing is perfect and take our challenges as a strength to our development, not go bishing about like you lots who would blame everyone but yourselves and play the perpetual victim card.

Typical. They're always aloof whenever they're challenged to list their challenges so men can list theirs too let's square up and scrutinise who the victim truly is. No surprise.

Feminists are seeking for edges over men. You front as agents of equality but we can scratch beyond the surface and know what you lots are aiming for. When you're for equality you fight for rights for everyone, male and female alike including kids.

Men faces gender prejudice too so how can there be equality when your course is female-focused and lopsided? Bring up 10 areas where women face discrimination let me bring up 10 you feminist are evasive about, let's brainstorm.

Feminists are not here to compete with you. Being granted equal CHANCE is not the same as competition. It only means a fair playing ground. Get my drift?
How does saying its a man's world and wanting equal chance correspond? If you conform to the idea that it's a man's world then it means you're admitting men are superior which defeats any opportunity of an equal chance.

It's either you're a pseudo feminist or a newbie to the crew. All feminist would dismiss the claim of it's a man's world. You speak from both sides of your mouth, sorry.

I used to be an ardent reader of NL though I signed up officially last year. However, over the past couple of months, I have been disgusted by the ignorance, lack of empathy, chauvinistic and misogynistic behaviors displayed by the guys here to the ladies. This has kept me away from being active for some time now. Everyday on the front page, you must find not less than 3 topics on what a lady should or shouldn't do, blah blah blah. These topics are bait topics for views and I think the moderators know this. But is it really necessary for you to be gender-biased just so you can get more clicks? These has even turned into cyber-bullying. How do you think it is fair to female folks to be constantly reminded that they are nothing but objects of gratification that need validation from men in everything they do? You can't even come here just for the fun of social media again, your spirits are constantly brought down by comments here. This is really no different from racism if you ask me. We know it's a man's world. We are not competing with you. We just want to be loved, treated fairly and respected as humans first. It is that basic. Women don't owe men anything and vice-versa. No one created the other so none should feel entitled or superior. Our differences should be our strengths and not a room for oppression. Please NL guys, please learn a form of decency and decorum in your use of language towards ladies. Yo have mothers and don't forget that you'd have daughters too one day.

Lastly, the misconception that feminists are man-haters is a lie. Please don't make us one. It is easier to hate than too love but we are not cowards, hence we wold choose to do the other. Just know this, whether you like it or not, feminism has come to stay. You can choose to fight it or embrace it. We are not here to compete with you, so don't feel threatened. I hope this actually speaks to someone. Peace!!
You are confuse. The bolded phrase are contradicting and discredit your message. Figure it out.

When the outcome is negative and unfavourable the malcontent fellow gets regretful, frustrated and unhappy and they're stock with the quandary infinitely. Too risky a route to take and I'd strongly kick against the arrangement of getting married without ascertaining the sexual compatibility of intending couples. Marriage is meant to be a lifetime union right? So why would someone want to exchange marital vows with someone they're clueless about their sexuality and proficiency. What if it turns he/she is gay and doesn't feel any attraction towards heterosexual sex? Gays don't have it written on their forehead.

How about he/she is a sex maniac and can't be contented even when their partner gives in their best? This could be a recipe for cheating. And how about if they're easily exhausted while the other person is even yet to feel contented?

Sex is a very vital component of a marriage and can lead to it success or failure of the union in some cases. I understand religious doctrines frowns against this but when sexual frustration sets in it would be inconsolable and regretful. Such problematic situation should be prevented.
