If true, the man prolly died of cardiac arrest. He must have been battling high blood pressure and looked glaringly unhealthy at a mere glance at him. He was too obese and his weight was a catalyst for unhealthy condition to befall him. RIP. |
Wake up and smell the coffee mate. You don't need that long to convince a lady for a romance with you. Stop wasting your time and your resources taking her for dinner and other gesture, and move on. Waiting on her to be forthcoming on 3years for what? |
tosyne2much:I trust Tosyne would tell doctor he's a V in mum's presence. ![]() |
Lol. As a grown adult, a male, I don't think I'd find it difficult answering in the affirmative in my mum's presence. She and anyone else who doesn't know that as a man who's got blood through his veins has to engage in sex once in while have their selves to blame, not me. I think it'd be more difficult for the female giving their conservative nature towards sex and their constant need to appear 'sexless' and impress whoever cares to notice. |
Madness. And some complain that there are too many unmarried ladies out there waiting to get married when the cost of getting oneself a bride is on the high side. How many young able Nigerian men have 500k as savings and something they can just lavish on a ceremony without experiencing some financial setback. I see this as not only irresponsible on the part of Igbo culture but more so one of long throat by our gluttonic elders who takes advantage of any ceremony, be it marriage, burial, child dedication, as an avenue to feast and satisfy their appetite for free food. These scavengers mean no good for their daughter 'after marriage life' as they care less about her well-being and survival in her to-be hubby's house. All they're concern about is for him to empty his entire savings in performing marital rites and don't bother if they eat sand there after or if indeed he can be able to provide for their 'daughter'. Modafuckers. |
This Nigeria I must marry and I must stay married mentality is responsible for her passing on, that's if the hubby is responsible for taking her life. Every signs kept pointing to the fact that she was unhappy and the marriage was far from joyous but prolly because she wanted to bear Mrs at all cost or perhaps she must have been misled by the fraudulent scriptural passage which highlighted on marriage as for better for worse. Marriage is not a do or die affair and people shouldn't let anyone cajole or pressurise them into embarking on one. And if the after marriage signals aren't healthy and meritorious quit it and damn what anyone has to say. The cause of this lady's passing on would have been prevented had she not stayed put even when nothing about her union seemed favourable. |
Fortunately, I don't live my life based on some obsolete book written ages ago and which is of no efficacy in a contemporary society. And even if such were the case it wouldn't have still deter me from performing cunninlinctus on my woman just like I take delight in fellatió. Ende. |
MrsChima:So you don dey talk pidgin, hmmm, I dey o. How your side na? |
Tamee:Fimi le jor, wetin concine me for this matter. I see today is your day. Do have a nice one and many more fruitful years. |
I'm no lawyer but the 'accuser' and the 'accused' have a case to answer and both are complicit although their level of involvement differs. The 'accuser' was fully aware the bank details wasn't the property of the 'accused' and would hardly be blameless. She indeed, did took part in the fraud as she was repeatedly briefed more cards were being sorted even as she knew none of those cards beared the name of the accused. My advise to the 'accuser' is to thread carefully and have a deep reflection before pursuing the case further. Don't let anyone mislead you or cowed you to believe that you're stainless in the whole identity theft saga. Think, think and think. This is a complex case that comes with hefty retribution if found wanting. |
Interesting drama. Perfect recipe to pass-time till sleep beckons. |
Tamee:Aww, missed you too love. Been pretty occupied hence my exiguous presence herein. What are you into? Schooling, working or job fishing. |
MrsChima:Yimu. American/EU papers isn't any better than Nigerian papers. Naija papers rocks. ![]() |

iAmCharis:Lol. She don finally ungag me o, I hope it's for good. ![]() |
Griffon:Nwanne madu, well said. Healthy criticism is necessary and needed to put human's on their toes. We can't afford to live in a world where there's nothing to prove to anyone. It's unhealthy and unsustainable for the preservation of mankind, human development and progress. There are times we might feel we're doing everything right career wise when in fact we're retrogressing or stagnant. And without someone criticising our choices we won't embrace a change of ideas. Even the world powers are constantly battling to outdo each other in technology and advanced innovations. The world is competitive and there's always something to prove to anyone who cares to take notice of our achievement. We might not intentionally set out to prove our intended/achieved goals to anyone but we owe it to ourselves to prove that our existence on earth was maximally utilise and our accomplishments are worthwhile. If we don't prove to anyone or ourselves what we were able to make out of life we owe it to our unborn kids and parents to prove to them that their effort in conceiving and nurturing us wasn't wasted. In life, there's a subtle need, conscious or unconscious, to impress anyone who 'cares' to notice. We can't dismiss it. |
bukatyne:Hmmm power, we all love power and authority so no one relinquishes a position of authority willingly. Any lady (or individual) who believes that men are generally more inclined to excel than her has issues with her potentials and her inherent ability to grow and develop, which by itself is a catalyst for failure. The emboldened phrase you highlighted was intended to euphemize the 'real man' dictum to be applicable to all sex, not just some, or men. Perhaps, my expression wasn't pellucid and concise enough. |
Griffon:LMAO @ embolded. I don laugh die. ![]() I agree with you here. Human's need a spur to motivate them into becoming resourceful and hardworking. Something that would make us sit up and embrace the fact that life waits for no one and everyday counts. While growing up my father would always remind us that life is a battle field and we should assume that everyday it's a new challenge requiring a different method of approach as no two days are thesame. And if we must scale through and succeed we should always harbour this in mind. He'd remind me in particular that I should never depend on anyone for livelihood not even my elder brothers who were providing me with everything I needed at that time as they might disappoint me in the future, when he might have gone and by which time it might be too late to make amends. Those words are like an afflatus, muse and influential in shaping my life and approach towards life. It takes more than just breathing, eating and sleeping to live life. One has to develop themselves everyday in whatever they do. Be it studying, working or whatever they specialise on. Be at the top of it. Lastly, I'm very comfortable when a fellow guy employs any of those cliche lines on me about being a real man than when a lady does. Reason being that she might be falsely assuming or think that it's only men who should work hard and be successful. The conception that men are to strive harder in life more than females is baseless and Victorian. If a man should be 'real' a woman too should. |
samson201:Well, relax until you've a girlfriend/spouse before you can confidently make the embolded statement. Your claim is premature given your present relationship status. Your posture is homogenous to a struggling fella saying they won't show-off, shop at designer brands or purchase posh whips when they become wealthy. As for the reasons why men cheat there are a handful but for lack of time on me at the moment I'd pass. |
cococandy:Lol. Hypocrisy, self-denial, pretense and tartuffery is responsible for our 'profound hatred' towards gays and sex related matters. There are as many gay people in Nigeria and Africa at large like it's in the West, just that the aforementioned trait won't let gay lovers open up and accept their sexuality. I'm guessing that most of the gay porn views was generated mainly from lesbian porn as from my personal experience with my mates I've realised that a lot of guys loves to watch ladies make out. And for some it could be that they are bi-curious but are suppressing it, which isn't bad provided they understand that not everyone can be conservative towards their sexual tendency and adopt a live and let live attitude. However, what is surprising is that, these characters who loves to berate homosexuals are lesbian porn lovers. To be fair to them, I find it normal to watch ladies make out too but unlike them I don't go about chastising people based on their sexuality even though I consider it an obscenity. If there was a way to restore virginity or completely reset one's body to be that of a virgin, the vast majority of Nigerians would have undergo such procedure countless times so as to appear 'holy' and reserve. Any people and society where religion hold sway like ours are the most hypocritical, deceptive and dangerous. |
Before you join the discussion about Biafra, take a good look at this picture. A repetition of this will only be inhuman. Protect Humanity. Say no to violence! However, to be pellucid, people are allowed to make demands, in a civil, peaceful and legal manner as enshrined in UN human right charter. By the above, I did not opine that people's fundamental rights be curtailed, especially that of freedom of expression.

martineverest:I dey o boss mi, just been occupied. How you dey? kinglekan:All is good Boffin, just as prepense. Bracing up for xmas convivial trice, I guess? |
iAmCharis:Lol, my phone dey kampe, just having a pretty tight calendar but I full ground nonetheless. How's the ministry going? I trust yourself and Kabiyesi Kinglekan is 'spreading' it fangs worldwide. ![]() |
iAmCharis:My oga at the top, kedu? ![]() |
DAVIYJONESS:Nothing to do with brilliancy bruv. Just thought it's common sense and everyone should know love is a humbug. Anyone who believes a Naija babe would love them without some financial benefit is sleeping on a bike. |
Who didn't know about this before?. |
