Rubbish. Obaseki is safe. His degree and further education speaks to his qualification. As long as it is proven he attended his degree course and graduated, nothing’s amiss. |
Tinubu, one of the problems of our dear country ~Lord Rontololo |
Paperwhite:Many republicans will cast their ballot for Biden, privately. They despise trump, but can’t risk publicly antagonising him to protect their political careers. They fear his vindictive, bullying blowback’ |
Slawormir:How old are you, really? Smh |
Any nation able to colonise Nigeria should please go ahead and do so quickly We, as a country, will be much better off since our useless, lazy, incompetent leadership continue to promote rent-seek, rather than execute the right policies and engage our brightest minds to build a thriving nation |
Mobilize:To an extent, Trump may have been failed by the system. He is deeply unwell and should have been sectioned a long time ago. For his good, and the good of humanity |
Kingrefreshed:The religious charlatans support him, not real Christians. The type that follow pastors like herd in Nigeria. Negroes, low IQ. So pls don’t generalise. Trump is an established imbeci1e |
Court was an APC ploy to harass and intimidate him as a vocal, opposition senator. He is no longer a senator. He is no longer a threat. It’s the APC way. Case closed |
No surprises here. Two words explain this: Corruption and incompetence. You saturate NNPC with your incompetent, entitled northern ilk and expect to be as competitive as Russia or Saudi? Please get real already! |
Stup1d, racist President surrounded by stup1d, racist advisors and aides. What a tosser. What an id1ot |
omoyankee3:Yep, many unexposed, resident Nigerians support Trump. These are a daft, ignorant and clueless bunch oblivious to the racist white supremacist that Trump is. Some are carried aware by Trumps fake Christain posturing or his anti-Islam tendencies. But make no mistake, there are many clever, clued on resident Nigerians who see through this sociopath of a human being, know the score and will never support a vile racist like trump |
Playermayweda:Untruth |
I repeat, the worst President this nation has ever had the misfortune of having. A disaster of a ruler. In the end, he will be remembered for seriously polarising the nation, placing an unapologetically backward, incomplete class over the best of us |
Millenniumlady:I’ve concluded you funny ![]() |
Crochet:Don’t generalise. |
A reason many people don’t have much to give abroad can sometimes be traced to a lack of financial education. People tend to ‘spend up’ as wages remuneration increases. It’s a common problem with our consumption mentality If you haven’t already, please read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad and /or the richest man in Babylon. These are basic /starter books I read a decade ago and has been life transforming The secret is: Spend less on consumption. Your income should come more from assets and less your job. Invest-Take advantage of historically low cost of capital to grow your asset columns. Otherwise, the rat race the op projects will be your trap |
Trump is a problem. A big threat to global stability. Racist White supremacist he is But this pastor should stop these speculative nonsense already. People seeking relevance left, right, centre |
How can anyone read the first paragraph and not discern It’s fake news, likely at the behest of that little arrogant Monkey of Edo state .. “... Information reaching ChrisOsaMedia indicates that the embattled and outgoing Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki...” Junk! Didn’t bother reading the rest. Next please... |
Thanks for the responses. I will issue them quit notice, then commission a truck load of Mopol to storm/evict the leeches on expiration, at a time of our choosing ~ Lord Rontololo |
God doesn’t revive economies. Hard work, good leadership, innovation is what does. Get with the programme, we are tired of all this lazy, manipulative talk from politicians already |
Ghostmode2two:Not that straight forward. Don’t underestimate the power of the Deep State. Adesina has been too effective /transformative to the disliking of powers that be. Desperate enough, they will find and force mud down until it sticks, if you let them. He and his allies must fight back. This is clearly contrived, and I see the long, ugly shadow of the Trump administration all over this. |
Don’t support APC one bit, but must admit I like and respect this man. He is one of the most progressive and purposeful governors in Nigeria and will make a good president. Unlike the unapologetically hopeless, self serving, hypocritical and corrupt one called Oshiomhole |
So annoying. He’s been claiming he’s nscdc and can do whatever he likes. I am lining up truckload of jtf police/soldiers to do the needful at the right time, as a law abiding citizen, once the legal aspects are covered. |
A very close friend of mine just sent me the following problem seeking my assistance. I need the lawyers in the house to opine pleAse: “My sister lives in the US and least her husband last year Nov. He moved to Nigeria many years ago after they divorced. A few decades ago, they both acquired a land in a core area in one of the states in the east. Thanks he land was paid for by her (through her fathers connections) and had both their names on the c of o. Her late husband built a house on the land and moved into it while she remained in the US with their 3 kids. Now he has passed on, she needs her land/property back. The issue is that one of the man’s brothers based in the same state as the property is playing funny. Through my contact, she has retrieved the c of o. There is this man (works with the nscdc) living in the Bq/self contained claiming he will not move. He has admitted he has been living free for the past four years at the discretion of the late husband. He is conniving with the late husbands brother. They have no legal standing. He has no contract contract/tenancy and is a squatter far as we are concerned. He is saying he will go to court and will get a lawyer . We need to evict him ASAP as he’s constituting a nuisance” I have asked them to get a lawyer too and issue issue eviction notice. I can help with connections (police etc which is why they are seeking my help) to storm the place and evict after issuance of a legal eviction notice, but exercising restraint What do you think? |

The article by the Economist is surprising. It's not only shabby, but seems somewhat 'influenced' by factors other than purely economic ones In Nigeria's best interest I am a keen advocate for leaving market forces to determine the Naira value. This will make our economy more competitive in the long run by attracting foreign investment and encouraging local production. It will also discourage the rent seeking culture prevalent as of today. I see why international investors clamour for 'devaluation' as this gives them more for their buck and reduce investment risk However, finding fault in a policy that seeks to prohibit importation of toothpicks smacks of folly. Singing the praise to heaven of a former cbn chief who oversaw the squandering of our foreign reserves in a desperate, Illadvised effort to defend the Naira and keep inflation within single digits is mischievous. The current cbn governor has done the right thing. My wonder is how it has taken our policy makers this long to come to |
Mr president elect, there is no longer a need to politicise matters of national importance such as this. You are the incoming president. I never for once saw you as the sharpest knive in the cabinet, but the more discerning amongst us know $20B is not missing. We know that to be no more than political grandstanding and that Sanusi himself has a lot to answer to, that curruption thrives even within your campaign organisation. There is so far rethorical flourish will take you. Lead with wisdom and maturity or you will very quickly find yourself at the sharp end of a frustrated and disappointed people! |
