Our soldiers are simply incapable of defeating BH. They are demotivated, underfunded, under trained. That’s why they flex so much against unarmed civilians, something professional, capable soldiers worldwide hardly do.
Anyway, nothing will change until GMB leaves. This war needs younger, dynamic and adaptable military leadership |
Business › Re: FG Mulls Unified Naira Exchange Rate Regime by rontolo(m): 4:18pm On Jun 18, 2020 |
A unified rate (or whatever they choose to rebrand it as), will default to the current parallel market rate and remove much, if not all of govt intervention. The markets will determine the value, removing content he dollar subsidy.
This must have been some of the conditions attached to recent $ loans. The options are limited, we simply can’t afford dollar support as it currently stands
The impact is ‘structural’ devaluation of the Naira. I see N600/$ least by year end |
Politics › Re: Obaseki's PDP Card Is Ready - Edo PDP Chairman by rontolo(m): 11:13am On Jun 18, 2020 |
Mrkcee: Recall that during the last Edo election, Obaseki won owning to the huge votes returned by Oshiomhole in his wards and LGA; he Obaseki lost even in his ward and LGA. Also recall that Edo state is an APC state, plus the certificate saga trailing Obaseki (which other parties will use against him assuming he eventually wins the second term in another platform); even PDP has been in the court for this same matter.
Now, having falling apart with his principal (Oshiomhole) and party APC, how do you think he ( Obaseki) will go far? Tell me! That was yesterday. New dawn beckons. Obaseki has done fantastically well over the last four years and has since seized much of the APC structures. You can’t use his performance as a relative unknown back then to assess today’s outcome. Also, dont underrate executive influence as a sitting governor. The certificate issue is a red herring. Take it to the bank, Osho will lose, will be humbled |

Poloyanabo2: If we truly had a president, in situations like this he ought to issue a statement to address the tense situation in the party that brought him into office. But what we have is a mere figurehead who hasn't been able to put his immediate family in order. *Spits* This cannot happen because Buhari is seriously choreographed. He needs extreme rehearsals each time he comes out. He is seriously unwell. What a shame |

post=90643831: What a beautiful story!
May it never ever be well with the evil and looting party that brought this evil Boko Haram into our nation..
These Criminals couldn't do anything for more than a decade and watch Boko haram kill thousand and thousands of innocent Nigerians. That people could not go to their place of worship for over a whole year. Back then, if you see an ordinary polythene bag (nylon of akara) on the floor, everybody start running helter skelter thinking it's gonna be an explosive/BOMB! (It was that bad!)
Same evil party that denied Boko Haram kidnapped 286 of our teenage girls before the world stood up to burst their bubble!
They rather share the BILLIONS meant to procure ammunition for our soldiers to tackle this Boko Haram insurgency (when it was still at infancy) among themselves and watch our soldiers die!!
Only people with chicken brains must have forgotten all these atrocities in less than 6 years. That is why we call them hypocrites and children of hate, perdition and frustration. (They are trying to tell us that this raped, battered and looted nation by their party of looters was like Canada or Dubai pre 2015!)
Kidnappings, Daily Pipeline Explosions etc were the order of the day. More of the reason we sent the ineffectual buffon packing.
A senseless wailer was telling us here yesterday that before Buhari became President, Borno and Katsina was peaceful, we replied him that before PDP brought Boko Haram to our darling country, the whole Nigeria was peaceful, he kept shut and never responded again. Shameless criminals supportingevil.
Our darling country will win this war as a nation, and all the politicians sponsoring these killings along with anyone supporting them will all die miserably and terribly in due season.
God bless Nigeria. PDP brought Boko Haram? I thought your President Buhari is their patron and benefactor? Please clarify |

Only you made sense here.
Others are just rambling cuz of their long-established bad energy for the guy. When it comes to secret service cases, forget that talk of paid informants. There was particular urgency with Hush’s case because of the nature of his latest crime. This ain’t no ordinary fraud, stealing from companies or individuals for example. This is high stakes crime against the American state. Covid funds? Whatever connect Hush had would amount to nothing. He has simply overreached this time and now faces a looong jail term in an American federal penitentiary, not in the joke of a nation called Nigeria |

One4me: You are also wrong! The issue that disqualified Obaseki was that he forged Academic Certificates and got axed. His dispute with oshiomole is just a side attraction.
Fashola had even more serious issues with Tinubu in Lagos, after his first term but Tinubu had no choice than to just lick his wound and let him be because everything about Fashola (Scandals and Certificate), was above board.
Fashola actually outshined his master (Tinubu) otherwise Lagosians wont be telling Tinubu, "No Fashola, No APC" in Lagos. (They want to go and vote for PDP) so that Law is not always true. So you watch the drama playing out and believe this is really an issue of certificate forgery? Truly? Wow Surely, you can’t be that naive? |
Politics › Re: FFK On Obaseki: 'One Of The Most Important Virtues In Life Is Loyalty' by rontolo(m): 9:02pm On Jun 12, 2020 |
Fernandeswagger: It's still relevant because he violated the law. He should have played along till after he got his second term. That way Osho baba would have lost his grip on him. He bared his cards too early. These laws would be more appropriate Law 3: Conceal your intentions Law 15: Crush your enemy totally However the apparent over bearing nature of Osho monkey makes these impractical. Obaseki is a man desperate to leave a legacy, to make a difference. He was unprepared to be Osho monk stooge. Oba for President |

techmo:
clearify your point.. biafran and ipobian president... oshiomhole always state it clearly he has no issues with obaseki as he is now onto bigger fish the only thing obaseki owes him is his pension and since he illegally withheld it oshimhole never said anything
why then did obaseki instituite a rubbish case to force oshiomhole and National Working Committee and all staffs of APC Abuja out of APC chairmanship seat, why did obaseki demolish Kabaka and james ibori's hotel and house, and why did he refuse to allow the installation of APC 14 house member These are acts of (political) warfare. Osho monkey was gearing up to have Obaseki impeached. Obaseki needed to be ahead of the game. Everything about Osho monkey is plain wrong. He is power drunk and unqualified for leadership. People like him we must fight to eject from the corridors of power. For the good of our nation |

techmo: any proof oshimhole demanded for money from the ugly black sheet face obaseki We know Oshiomhole is a control freak. He confronted godfathers before him, while his actions show he is the worst of them. Anyone looking to cleans our cesspit of a nation will need to confront powers and godfathers that be, including those on who’s account they rode to power. We need to wake up as a nation. Change, when it comes, will emerge from within. That entails a fulcrum of disloyalty Obaseki for President abeg |
