From the inner santum of the magnificient Room 089, i wish you a happy birthday. You shall not only be a year older but a year better. Just as you go by the name Blessing, may God's all round Blessings be your portion.
You really got me with your literay work; codedly I have been following with keen interest.
My comments about your work will come at the end of the story.
Chaleeee: What kind of work is spanning from hemp particles to drivers license? In Naija, do you get your drivers license the day you pay for it?
Hence hemp is still not legalized in nigeria, is still part of their job to bring to book anyone caught with it.
In Nigeria you can never apply for your Driver's licence and receive it that same day but you will be issued with a temporal laminated driver's licence that same day after you've been captured (after your passport must have been taken). That is what the police expected the californian returnee to possess before taking to the roads.
oyek691: God.... please help your people. Abeg tell me even if the guy won do something nice 4 for africa shey him go still do am?? Just because of 100# , this guys will embarass you like Mad.
FLStudioGuy: You called that "doing their work?" That's harassment for Fuçk sake. That hemp stuff is enough for me to take the police to court. Stupid black mentality
You are sure the californian returnee wasn't in possession of hemp? Can you vouch for him in a law court? Or you think the nigerian police can never get it right at least for once?
userplainly: what's wrong with you?.... how can an ijaw man come into a Yoruba community and kidnap the king for ransom... money ransom... guy use ur sense.... nobi who get house know where key dey?..... in any community either small or big no outsider come close to d royal palace........ YORUBA PEOPLE... ONA TOO NAIVE.... y CNT y'all riot so we can divide cos I don't tink u want us in the same country....
My dear you are the one being naïve here. So because it involves a royalty the evil must be perpetrated by yorubas? Even when their surnames sold them off for a kobo? Who knows, these two might be only accomplices because seven others are at large. Come to think of it, is the king's palace more secured than banks and airports that a non indigene couldn't break into? Have we not witnessed armed robbery attacks led by people that are not yorubas?
Ne0w1zarD: Nigerian Man who was born and brought up abroad been harassed by the Nigerian Police so they can extort money from him on his first visit back home . What a shame!. Watch video below:
FreeWorld23: If na our nowadays ladies with "Mami water" hair and ugly painted face, they will keep their CVS at home and start looking for sugar daddies to date/marry
oglalasioux: I bet your childhood was rosy. No abused child ever forgets or forgives. It's a nightmare one lives with forever.
It's an insult, therefore, to insinuate that some god somewhere knows why a child is abused and that it happened for a reason.
There's no reason to ever abuse a child whether a god knows about it or not. The best we can do in our world is to stop making babies we can't take proper care for.
Not so baba mi, you tend to misunderstand me here. Some of the things that have befallen us and some of the things we will experience in life have been pre-ordained even before we were born and there is nothing we can do other than to make most out of it. For example, some were born whites while some blacks and some were born males while some females. Some folks would have preferred things the other way round but who are we to dictate or question God. He knows the reason why ........... Some of us were born into wealthy families while some found themselves in a very poor family. Was that what they bargained for? No! But God knows the reason why ........... Who would pick a poor family over a wealthy one? Nobody! But when you find yourself in a poor family, you will have to work VERY hard in order to change status quo. Honestly my childhood wasn't so rosy but I can't continue to brood darkly over it. I must move forward ever since I learnt that we mature with the damage and not with the years.
missyadorable: This is how I was brought up Childhood was painful.every flimsy mistake gave me serious beatings...my mum had the duty of dressing my wounds.today, the bridge that connects me to my father has been completely burnt.never in my life will I ever have anything to do with/say to him.even if I see him on the road,i will simply turn my face.I hate him for life!
Not so my dear, everything happens for a reason and God knows why. Please forgive yourself so that you can forgive him. No matter the decisions you have taken, do remember that his blood flows inside of you and as you must know, there is life in the blood.
