Daviddson:Same here, I listened to Sanusi speech at that conference in Kaduna and he said nothing wrong. Most northerners are just to ignorant to accept civilisation. He made it clear, times have changed but most northerners have refused to change with it, all with the guise of "religion". It's unfortunate really, planning to build a rail with no economic value, it will simply be used to transport people to weddings and occasions, worse even when you have failing roads. Any who I'm not surprised, their zone remains the most underdeveloped in Africa simply because most misinterprete their religion and when someone is bold enough to tell them they persecute him. Sanusi should better join politics, he has won a supporter of me. |
Let's make America great again. To the topic: I watched excerpts of the interview with the Judge and as usual the media exaggerates the story. He just aired an opinion due to the fake news misinterpretation of what Sean Spicer says While I admit that defending Trump aint an easy job, the media really goes an extra mile to find faults, pick on every little comma and are unnecessarily biased. Any who I'm with you Trump whether CNN likes it or not. |
We seriously need to ask questions. During the last administration the "excuse" Nebo gave was pipeline vandalisation, now we have APC and Fashola is giving the same excuse. What rubbish, can't the Interior Ministry curb the vandals. These are all flimsy excuses, it would be unfair to call both Nebo and Fashola incompetent, so the problem must be bigger than the leadership. I recommend flushing out all individuals working in any Power related institution (NIPP and the likes). Its evident we need a fresh start with a fresh team., revoke all past contracts and privatization schemes and start refresh |
IamAirforce1:True talk o, the sun in Abuja alone is one of a kind. Couple that with long traffic jams, everything here in Nigeria is a struggle. |
love the cap, lets make Nigeria Great Again o |
Franzinni:Well said, its like a constant reminder everywhere you go. It is well sha, one just needs to channel it as motivation to increase the hustle. |
PDPGuy:Well in all fairness to him, the Deputy Attorney General just got confirmed, in fact the Senate (the democrats majorly) have delayed most of Trumps appointees, this time with Obama over 70% of all nominees had been confirmed. The recommendation for Comey sack was written by the Ag. forwarded to Jeff Sessions and endorsed by Trump, so technically the delay could be as a result of this. Anywho i agree sha that the diplomatic way would have been to discontinue his tenure in January when Trump assumed office, but regardless the public has lost confidence in Comey anyway, this was bound to happen. I trust the Democrats will use this to their advantage, funny that Chuck Schumer who was calling for Comey's removal is now protesting the same. |
sunshineV:The same BBC that apologized to Sanusi for fake news reported by them. Abegi jare, if you want to hear real news watch Fox News, any other new agency like CNN, BBC are all Fake and semi fake news. |
Nigeriadondie:No country is beyond redemption, we are where we are because of this mentality. We the youth can be the force of change. It's unfortunate really that since 1960 our country has continued to retrogress, the silver lining though is Nigerians are fast becoming politically conscious. With time we will start asking questions and DEMANDING answers. |
Nigeria is too diverse to support a Christian Christian ticket. Though I know Sanusi ain't interested, I would have voted for him o, or Ribadu, we need an exposed northerner, not those pako ones. |
Guten tag |
DLuciano:Don't mind them, forming deaf and dumb when anything relates to Buhari. Imagine, NO news agency is taking about the Ikoyi funds, none. NO news agency is asking why we have a ' work from home ' president who we haven't seen in week, none. But when it was Dasuki gate, omo see headlines daily. It just as Trump will say "FAKE NEWS". |
Adminisher:Oh please, for your information, ALL NIGERIAN POLITICIANS ARE CORRUPT. People just ride over Jonathan because of his personality. He's not charismatic or a leader, but with regards to being corrupt that's a characteristic of most politicians in developing countries. That's why we need to automate most of our systems and processes to prevent this. Countries labeled developed don't have more honest or corrupt free individuals, they just have checks and Balances that prevents and punishes violators. Or didn't you follow the American election, how much one candidate was paid for speeches in exchange for favorable foreign policies. That's why I urge Nigeria's to vote for Kowa. At least for now they ain't diluted. |
Conceding was heroic no matter how anyone tries to twist It. You might dislike the person of Jonathan or his policies and governing system, but every rational individual knows it takes courage to concede. Not to cause trouble, but do y'all really think Mr. Buhari can do same, accept defeat and concede. I might be wrong but I strongly doubt it. Jonathan averted alot by conceding and if only for that he deserves to be praised and remembered in our history books. |
The bmc folks at work. Man must chop. I don't fault you guys o, just performing your job description Ride on. At the end of the day nigerians know the TRUE state of Nigeria. |
EnigmaticEnigma:My guy I tire o. Reading some comments here I'm shocked, the BMC theory might be true afterall. How would a rational individual advocate for a second time for Buhari, let's even put aside his tribalism and ineffective policies, look at his health. It amazes me that sane nigerians will campaign for someone that frail for another 4 years. An employer will never employ a liability why should nigerians |
hammer6:The bolded, as of now, is not an asset, that will be his greatest liability come 2019. |
MaziOmenuko:Kwankwaso has a bigger problem. The incumbent governor and him dont see eye to eye. This will affect his ability to get the whole of Kano, I.e his political value. Same thing happened to Shekarua was unable to deliver Kano despite being the past governor. I don't like him sef, so that's good news. Honestly Buhari has killed it for me with any northerner candidate. His tribalism was or is one of a kind. I would rather Tinubu, though corrupt he has a history of performance.else Kowa party it is. Let's make Nigeria great again with KOWA |
As much as I'm not a fan of Tinubu If he shows interest I'll vote for him. Though he stole in Lagos he still worked. Stealing/corruption will take decades to leave Nigeria. So when choosing someone corrupt I'll rather one with a history of performance. Else I'll be voting for KOWA. The likes of Tambuwal, Saraki, El Rufai. A big NO |
GavelSlam:This is a flawed argument, loyalty can always change, afterall obasanjo supported Jonathans first candidacy but worked against the second. While I believe Buhari would have won regardless, there was something fishy about Kano results. We all know it, cases of underage voting, voting card release preferences when compared with the south, etc. Though as aforementioned Buhari probably would have still won. Lastly it's WRONG for Obama to have publicly showed support for a candidate in another countrys election. You can Google it, he did on so many occasions. |
Businessideas:None of the above, Nigerians are tired of receiving less. Besides I don't see the "results" you are taking about. If the average man cannot feel the so called "positive change" then something is wrong somewhere. |
El rufai keeps disappointing me daily. How can a rational person say " theres no relationship between a person's state of health and his job functioning ". Why have we let tribalism becloud our ability to be rational? Mr. El rufai you are WRONG, if the president is sick he needs to resign or be removed. Physical state of mind Is crucial in any Job. No employer will employ a liability. |
I hope this is true. Smaller Parties need to rise up in Nigeria, lets say NO to the likes of APC and PDP. |
Why ofcourse, as the SGF said who is the presidency sef? |
Jj222:I'm telling you. There would have been a massive protest in lagos by the likes of Tinubu, Bakare, NLC, etc, in the North by all those Almajiris. But now they are forming deaf and dumb. issorite. |
Well Buhari too doesn't seem to be living up to expectations. if it were Jonathan that requested to "work from home" , there would have been a massive protest in Lagos, the likes of Tinubu, Bakare, NLC, etc. But for some odd reason every one is forming deaf and dumb. They should not worry, Nigerians are watching. Come 2019 we will vote for KOWA. |
Kondomatic:Lol this cracked me up. Very funny |
Most Nigerians are lily-livered, they can't lead such protest. Its unfortunate really. Besides in their defense, any protest will be labelled opposition and a corruption charge will sooner be leveled against such an individual |
The verdict honestly makes no sense. Instead of the government to cover therapy services for her, they are compounding her problem. Useless verdict. |
Exactly my thought honorable, well said. |
I doubt either can make the list. Osho Baba is too aggressive and not diplomatic, the SGF need to be calm and diplomatic, Mr. Mamora on the other hand is a southerner and from Lagos, i doubt the president would appoint someone from that region as the SGF. |
In this zoo country you cannot constructively criticize. I saw this coming, once Sanusi started speaking the truth, criticizing his wasteful northern governors and the present administration, the next thing is to find dirt on him. What a country, no matter what they dig up, what the Emir said is true " There is no advantage, none at all, in raising an organized army of uneducated unemployed beggars" We stand with Sanusi |
