2shur:I can see poverty and frustration written all over you. Don't worry God will answer your call once you stop insulting people that are better off. For your info. One shouldn't have to switch off appliances when at home. If not for the f.ucked up country, with a f.ucked up voltage. Anyways I don't blame you, you don't know better, haven't experienced better, so you think Everyone is on your level. My dear you are on a LONG thing. |
Honestly I don't like this woman. She's not even articulate, I watched one channels TV interview with her and was HIGHLY disappointed. She hates criticism whether constructive or not and that's an ignorant behavior. You should accept constructive criticism or defend yourself, never descend to insults. |
veekid:Exactly in most developing economies teachers are underpaid and under valued. This is sad really, as its a reflection of how we or rather or leaders value education. Imagine corpers that have no flare for teaching, poor understanding of English language being sent to schools to teach with little or no supervision. Who knows what they are inculcating into the students. |
Its common sense really. I wonder why the presidents' advisers or so called "cabal" don't have that line of thinking. The worst was the Northern Governor that invited the whole world and used a huge microphone like he was speaking to God. What illiteracy.. Its even disrespectful to Nigerians that elected you into office. You deem it important to talk to governors, your PA, but not the electorate. What effrontery, and mind you this can happen only in Nigeria, only in developing and underdeveloped economies. |
While i can sympathize with any one (male or female) going through relationship / marriage crisis. What i dislike is lying about gifts received from a partner, what exactly is the motive of that? If you want to build his image there are so many other ways. Doesn't he buy you real gifts? Honestly its sad as many people would have see the constant expensive gifts being posted by you and end their current relationship, raise the standard they are looking for, or just quarrel with their partners. I'm disappointed to say the least, and worst still she didn't even apologize for doing that, only disclosed that information as a form of "defense" for herself. Damn that will take a long time to recover from. |
Was shocked when i saw Suicide Squad won an award, but when i checked the category "Make up", i was relieved. |
Nigerians, so you expect to get 100% profit within few days with no hard work. Nonsense. Common sense dictates that such schemes are bound to crash. I don't blame Nigerians for using the scheme, due to the current economic state, but don't come and lament when the inevitable happens. |
Methinks this madam, with all due respect, needs to face her job description. As PA on social media I don't see the correlation between your posts on Mr. Dele and the job task. Only God knows the criteria used for selection. |
yarimo:It's "hiding" my dear. At the topic, honestly I don't think any fair Nigerian would rate this administration above 4, I.e. on a scale of 10. The 4 sef is because I'm in a good mood. It's a messed up situation. Nigerians were fed up with corruption and voted for change, little did they know that, there are 2 kinds of change: The positive and the negative. It is well. Naija go better |
I would certainly prefer him to the situation we have now. Then again, as rightly analysed by those above (@ queencalipso & JohnsonOlanre), northern Muslims will oppose it strongly. While he can comfortably amass the south west, he needs 2 other zones. It would be wiser for him to select a younger individual, the likes of Ribadu/Donald Duke; Sanusi/Chidi Odinkalu ; For now 2019 should be given to the north for the sake of peace and zoning arrangement, 2023 we the south will take it back. |
I wholly agree, while this administration might have achieved some feat in the fight against insurgency, the economy is far worse. |
BE811APP:I wonder o. |
nice |
He will make America great again. Personally I would vote for a Donald Trump in Nigeria. Let's do away with political correctness and say things as they are. No.1 would be enacting a law that limits the number of children per family, yes Northerners, your days of having children like chickens will stop. A policy similar to China, where any more than 2, you pay a regular tax. |
3.Those who love God enough to keep their marital vow: This is the most important. The fear of God in a man is the best trait one can possibly look for, it will make him humble , caring and even when you annoy or offend him, it will soften his heart to make amends. |
iluvdonjazzy:That's an absurd argument, you didn't write it yes, but you deemed it accurate to post here. Vet your content in terms of quality and accuracy before rushing to create a topic on Nairaland. |
It will definitely reduce crime and Nigerians will be able to sleep with peace of mind. That's why I'm in full support of the US second amendment. What gives a thieve or robber power, it's simply the weapon they hold, once I have my own weapon they lose that power. Though we first need a citizenry database. Synchronized at various institutions. Identification is crucial, when issuing guns, tracking criminal records if any, age, etc. We have a LONG way to go. |
Most Nigerians know this, but are being diplomatic for the sake of his health. Anyone can fall sick. If and when it clocks 60days, bye bye to diplomacy. |
This will do the opposite, it will encourage people to hoard cash at home. Next time OP, be consistent in your writing, you either stick to figures only, words only or words with respective figures in brackets. - 7% - seven percent - seven percent (7%) Your inconsistency makes the write up hard to follow. |
Stupidity. While I understand your frustration, you should have saved the finger to vote him out come 2019. |
He made the wisest statement I've ever heard from a northerner. I don't discriminate against any religion, but one shortcoming of the preachers of this religion is that they have failed to modernize their doctrine and preaching with time. Churches preach on the importance of education, family planning, etc. But preachers of this religion have failed so far to adapt it with changing times. This has further underdeveloped the north, no value for education, giving birth like chickens, ET cetera. Until their preachers emulate Sanusi in stressing the importance of education the vicious cycle continues. |
Interesting, great analogy and sync. No book beats the Bible, it's application is not time or human bound. |
The love for power. |
Please tell them sir. Illiteracy is when you keep having children you can't cater for in the name of religion. It's a vicious cycle - having children like chickens, most become beggars as you can afford to feed let along send to school . They grow up to become liabilities, terrorist, thieves, constituting a nuisance to other folks who practiced family planning and struggled to train theirs. Imams and other tradition rulers in the north need to start speaking or like our Emir. What rubbish. |
Yes, most people don't yield, it's like they are always in a hurry... Truth is if you plan your time well you should never or hardly ever be in a hurry. Let's learn to yield on the road |
Not surprising really. There's corruption everywhere, but it's done diplomatically. In Nigeria it's done foolishly, like they are begging to get caught. Methinks only when we do away with paper documentation and employ electronic database management systems do we stand a chance. The agencies and institutions constituted to keep checks now aid in corrupt practices. It will be well, though years will pass first. |
No don't tell him. Nonsense |
Methinks she's aging wella |
The title is misleading o, most people will open this thread thinking its the first lady. You should modify it. |
Methinks all this one na formality. We all know there's corruption everywhere and that cannot be solved in a day, it has to be a gradual process. This is the reason most of us are advocating for true federalism, let governors sit up and stop collecting allowance from the federal government on a monthly basis. It's a shameful situation really, governors queuing up in Abuja for their cheque. Why have states that are not self sustaining?? for how long will the federal nurture the states? |
Methinks he will only succeed in tearing the party apart. Last time I checked a leader should UNITE and not DISSOLVE. People should he carried along - both friends and foes. That's one reason I respect Obasanjo he knew how to lead a party. The likes of Sheriff, Buhari, EL Rufai need to learn that everyone cannot like you. Leaders will always have opposition, that's the beauty of democracy. You shouldn't use your power to shut up opposition, rather you should carry them along. |
It's a terrible situation. If you hear the amount expended on that sector since then till now you will be amazed. This administration needs to, as Trump would say "drain the swamp'. TCN, NIPP, and other parastatals in the power sector are just draining funds, unnecessary allowances , etc. Gosh, it seems only a military era can close these fund sucking agencies and bring the desired change to Nigerians. |
