samincredible44:lol, You are a goat, not only watching his weight. |
It's possible, anything is possible in Nigeria |
Technically he might be trying to show that Christians shouldn't be poor. The Bible says "the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof", so as Christians we should live as kings and queens. |
I doubt anyone expected less, Nigeria is yet to have leaders like Mandela who understand that it's the country first before self ambition. Mr. Buhari should not deceive himself, he is frail and need rest. Tsk Tsk, the love of power. The presidency shouldn't get it twisted, the POVERTY situation in Nigeria (compounded by this administration) is why when apc distributes money, Nigerians will support. The support shouldn't be likened to their love for the aspirant, the party, or their current system of governance |
Yes, now efcc can comfortably tell us the owner, his profession and even his state of origin sef. But when it was the Ikoyi gate, all was hidden. Politically motivated fight against corruption, nonsense.. Our mumu Don do as Charly would say. |
crackerspub:Rather than blaming BBN organisers why not blame our educational ministries for failing to organise a program that celebrates intellectuals. It's not the fault of BBN, rather the failure of certain institutes in Nigeria to make education and knowledge marketable. |
LordAdam16:Interesting... This is a very interesting angle of reasoning. Personally i also believe NIA taking the fall is a cover up, an intelligent one at that. The truth is that politics is all about political calculations, there's really no honesty, integrity or public interest. The more you look the less you see and we on the outside have no source other than newspapers and the politicians themselves to obtain information. So basically we are left to believe what we are told, or wait for answers that will never come. Its unfortunate. |
If you think this vindicates him then you really don't understand politics. Do you really think the house belongs to the NIA dg wife? they carefully chose the choice of words, the statement said the house is "controlled" by her, not Owned by her. The question of who owns the house is still unanswered, until then no one is vindicated |
This lady always condescends to insults. She really needs to learn diplomacy, you are a presidential adviser and its expected that you conduct yourself properly, especially when communicating with the public. I wonder the criteria used in selecting aides. |
Cute. The woman makes me want to marry sharperly |
lol, it hard to fault anything this lady does, i just like her... |
gberra:Tribalism will get no where, for your info i aint igbo, and even if i was my tribe should not be equated with my political/social views. We should all identify firstly with our religion(Christianity), then our nationality (Nigerian), and lastly our tribe. Please stop tribalising all topics on Nairaland its getting irritating, if you have an argument, simply prove it with facts and not condescend to insult. |
Well said. All he should have done from the start is focus all vigor on the power sector, it's not too late anyways. If only power had substantially improved the multiplier effect would be enormous. Power affects everything. How can the power ministry be giving the same excuse we heard under the last administration - vandalism. Don't we have security forces again? The excuse to be sounds so lame and man made. Man made errors are the easiest to fix, what's the INTERIOR MINISTRY doing as security ain't the job of the power ministry. This administration has no focus, even the corruption war seems slope-sided. Most Nigerians will never take him seriously so long as the SGF is still SGF. |
Bull crap. Sanusi sef will garner more southern votes, not to talk of other unpopular eligible people. If you narrow your mind to Mr.Buhari then you'll fail to see other credible alternatives. If he likes he can rig to win but I'm confident if he continues to rule this way, he cannot win 2/3, things will return back to when he contested under the CPC, I.e wining only northern states. Apc knows this, reason why they're trying to get the East through the likes of Ken Nnamani. You cannot become the president with only the north.. |
I don't get the 2nd one though, I get he was referring to the wrongly used word (spear), but what's a "projectile", Gurus in the house, help o |
We stand with KOWA. If only the KOWA party had social media presence*** nods head*** Oh well they still got my vote. |
Something is fishy about this whole saga, when EFCC declined to disclose the owner of the apartment i knew someone in this administration was linked to it. the fight against Corruption shouldn't know political parties, if indeed the house is for Amaechi he has some answering to do. Because no public office salary is 1/100 of that. |
Anything related to IT and public speaking. He should also have muscles and be fresh. |
There's more to this story that we'll ever know. There's definitely something fishy, either the whole thing is a hoax by EFCC gone wrong, or it's linked to someone in this administration. So much for the fight against corruption. |
Mehn I would like a big wedding o, it happens only once in a lifetime(all things being equal). The difference with me though, is that I'm striving to fund at least half of it. So if you dream big, work hard to make it a reality. There's absolutely nothing wrong in planning or hoping to have a big, flamboyant wedding, so long as you can afford it. |
seunmsg:Wrong , its not just about forfeiting the money, the owner should be brought to book. Seizing the money doesn't deter corruption and honestly it only enhances the rumor that the cash is owned by someone in the APC. You can't tell me the government don't know the owner of the house, come on, we ain't kids. It's just like the arms intercepted by customs, the owners identity protected. Nigerians should not support a one sided fight against corruption. The owner should he summoned and publicly announced like the others and brought to book. If it's all about the money why was Justice Ademola,Dasuki and others arrested and publicly ridiculed. Abeg jare, methinks the whole thing sef set up. EFCC fit just put money in that house and stage everything for popularity, no be naija. |
Unfortunately, 2019 seems already decided. With all this defection, it seems WE ARE STUCK WITH APC, except we youth come out on mass and vote KOWA. Please guys let's vote Kowa a clean party with no corruption history. |
dacblogger:Actually I disagree, he looks nice. One man's food is another man's .... Don't hate. |
What is this one saying. If the so called achievements shock the citizenry then there's a problem somewhere. Is the citizenry not to know about the achievements, asper the first hand beneficiaries. Nonsense. |
He's tired na, never knew lying could be this hard. Things aren't working, this administration's performance is largely below par, for an opposition that just ascended to power that's shameful. |
Lovely write up. No central database, no housing numbering system, no nothing. Yet the NIMC is issuing ID cards with stupid features like being able to redraw from your ATM. Cards that cannot be used to trace the owners. Yet we have a government, we cannot move forward as a country without an effective identity database management system. So many unconsolidated records - Immigration, population commission, NIMC, Inec, etc. There was a country. Nigeria is a failed state. |
My mentor help me tell them o. If we southerners talk, they will term it discriminatory, it's good it's coming from a northerner. As you said " there's no benefit in raising an army of unemployed beggars". Unfortunately though, that seems to be the case in most northern cities, indiscriminate child bearing like chickens, children you cannot cater for, they become beggars and nuisance to the society and The poverty cycle continues. |
The North's underdeveloped because of profs like this. Who either know the truth but prefer to lie to their illiterate mass or are themselves ignorant. In the words of my mentor Emir Sanusi " there's no advantage of raising an army of unemployed beggars". Damn that statement was deep. |
Sad, truly sad. Reasons keep popping up why PDP is not a better alternative, we need a better, more nationalistic opposition. We are tired of APC and definitely don't want to return to the pdp looting days, God help us. Other countries have natural disasters, we are plagued with bad leaders. |
Most Nigerians don't have basic cable talk more of DSTV |
Waste of money, gosh. If you want them to be current buy a TV , generator and Cable, they will all watch together. WTF will they do with tablets. All these governor have nothing to do with money. Why would you give an homeless person a tablet?? F.ucking scale of preference |
