SpecialAdviser:
Trump my man. We surely need your type yo lead this nation Nigeria, not one useless cow rearer.

A seasoned business man who will refuse to destroy what he has built for any reason. War is costly and will damage your economy. At the end, it ends in round table discussion after you must have lost money and lost people. A quote in Robert Kiyosaki says a good business man will hardly sue you if he will not make money from the case and would see it as a distraction.

If he can sue for peace and make more money, he rather swallow his pride than losing money foolishly.

Trump is not a politician and not Bush and co that do unnecessary busy body. You will get war only if you attack America. Forget Buhari wey dey take panadol for another man headache.

All the people they dey kill for his country, no reaction.
Uneducated dunce. Did you even pass out of secondary school? Such ignorant garbage.

A thoughtful gentleman who approved the only 2 use of nuclear weapon in history killing over 120000 in seconds but Trump who only use Twitter is the harmful one.
Why are you so dumb and complacent? Is Twitter not his vehicle for conveying his intentions? Would it make it any more or less dangerous if he wrote it down on a sheet, assuming he can actually write? He is the US president. If he makes belligerent public threats, you DON'T ignore or downplay it because all he has to do is GIVE AN ORDER and we are in WW3. He commands US forces and the world's most powerful nuclear arsenal. You do NOT want him making military threats on twitter or anywhere else, unless you are stupid.

Having defense pact does not mean they will intervene. The Saudi/Iran proxy wars has lasted for over 40yrs and not a single nuclear weapon have been used
This is not ''proxy war''. This is a direct attack on Saudi Arabia by Iran, presumably.

YOU NEED TO USE YOUR BRAIN. The fact that it hasn't happened does not mean it will not happen. Especially after a military attack in which Saudi Arabia has been forced to cut its oil supplies by 50%, in what is being called the ''biggest disruption in oil supplies in recorded history''.

What the hell is wrong with you? Go and read recent history. MAJOR WARS can start at any time and for the flimsiest reasons. WW2 started by a simple unprovoked attack by Germany on Poland. Before you knew it, Russia, USA, Japan, Italy, UK, France, Holland, Austria, Finland, Czechoslovakia and others got militarily involved. Nigeria, India, Ghana and other colonies send troops to fight for the allies. Result? 100 million+ dead.

The Iran/Saudi proxy has been on since 1979 yet we haven't had a world war. I know you think it started recently but this conflict has been in existence for more than 40yrs. It escalate at some point then deescalate. This is not new
40 years is nothing in politics and international relations. Your complacency is truly silly because if WW3 breaks out, no one will be looking at a calendar.

You have this great confidence in these world powers, forgetting that they slaughtered 150 million of themselves in just the last century's world wars, and with much less lethal firepower than they possess today. In WW2, just ONE battle, the battle of Stalingrad, which lasted just a few days, left nearly 2 million soldiers dead on both German and Russian sides. That's the entire number of people killed in the 3 year long Biafran war. Stop taking these 'oyinbo' people for granted. When they get truly mad, it's like nothing you've ever seen.

The United States detonated two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945.
The Soviet Union first detonated a nuclear weapon August 29 1949( the isreali/Arab war lasted until 1949)

There was also another Isreal/Arab war in 1967(by 1967 US, Russia, UK, France and China already got nuclear weapons).
Irrelevant history lesson.

Saudi and Iran don't even have nuclear weapons now so I don't know how they will fight world war.
An utterly naive comment since both nations have defence pacts with their respective nuclear superpower controllers, the US and Russia.

And lastly , the president you called volatile with suspect mental faculties is one of the US president that did not start any war nor invade other countries
He has only served 2 years in a possible 8 year tenure. So saying he ''did not start a war'' is senseless, as he just today he announceds on twitter that the US is ''locked and loaded'' to start a military retaliation.

The reasonable US president in 1948(Harry Truman) according to you, authorized the first and only use of nuclear weapons in war.
Truman is a thoughtful gentleman compared to Trump, who is an opportunistic narcissist who will do anything to remain in power in order to escape conviction for his numerous crimes, even if that means starting WW3.

Dude, the middle eastern nations are PROXIES FOR WORLD POWERS. Iran and Syria are RUSSIAN proxies, and increasingly CHINESE proxies.

Israel, UAE and Saudi Arabia are AMERICAN proxies.

The major powers use these nations to push/protect their interests in the region. If Saudi Arabia goes to war with Iran, it could EXPLODE into superpower conflict. The US has a defence pact with Saudi Arabia and Israel as does Russia with Iran and Syria. They are bound by treaty to engage militarily with enemies/attackers of these client states.

Today, Saudi Arabia has cut its oil supplies by an incredible 50% as a result of this attack. It is a major, major incident.

So stop looking at these issues like some naive kid who doesn't study international affairs.

What is Nigeria business if war broke out in Arab world? The isreali/Arab war did not lead to WW3. It is the war between two pro terrorist countries that will to WW3.
See how dumb your analysis is? What has what occurred in 1948 got to do with today's middle eastern volatility? Was Israel a nuclear power in 1948? Was Iran a nuclear power or remotely as powerful/belligerent as it is today? Was the US as dominant and powerful then as today? Was OIL a major factor in 1948? Was Russia a nuclear power in 1948? Did Russia have a defence pact with Iran in 1948? Did America have an unpredictable, volatile president with suspect mental faculties in 1948? An awful lot has changed since 1948. Your stance is at best, naive, and at worst, dangerously irresponsible and thoughtless.

PoliticsRe: What Do You Consider Man's SINGLE Greatest 'invention' Or 'discovery' Ever? by Rosskiki:
SPEECH

The first words by humans were spoken by Africans.

''Using statistical methods to estimate the time required to achieve the current spread and diversity in modern languages today, Johanna Nichols — a linguist at the University of California, Berkeley — argues that vocal language must have arisen in our species at least 100,000 years ago. Using phonemic diversity, a more recent analysis offers directly linguistic support for a similar date. Estimates of this kind are independently supported by genetic, archaeological, palaeontological and much other evidence suggesting that language probably emerged somewhere in sub-Saharan Africa during the Middle Stone Age, roughly contemporaneous with the speciation of Homo sapiens.''

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origin_of_language

So BEFORE AFRICANS INVENTED SPEECH, the rest of the world was communicating via grunts, cries and screams.

Credit goes to Africans for this MOST IMPORTANT BY FAR human invention which led to our civilization.

WRITING

The SECOND most important human invention was WRITING, for which credit also goes to AFRICANS.

In 1999, Archaeology Magazine reported that the earliest Egyptian hieroglyphs date back to 3400 BCE which "...challenge the commonly held belief that early logographs, pictographic symbols representing a specific place, object, or quantity, first evolved into more complex phonetic symbols in Mesopotamia."

Who were these original Egyptians?

The ancient Greek historian Herodotus.. described the Colchians of the Black Sea shores as "Egyptians by race" and pointed out they had "black skins and kinky hair."

Apollodorus, the Greek philosopher, described Egypt as "the country of the black-footed ones" and the Latin historian Ammianus Marcellinus said "the men of Egypt are mostly brown or black with a skinny desiccated look."

http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/specials/1624_story_of_africa/page88.shtml

In his book 'Egypt', British scholar Sir E.A. Wallis Budge says: "The prehistoric native of Egypt, both in the old and in the new Stone Ages, was African and there is every reason for saying that the earliest settlers came from the South." He further states: "There are many things in the manners and customs and religions of the historic Egyptians that suggests that the original home of their prehistoric ancestors was in a country in the neighborhood of Uganda and Punt [present day Somalia]."

''Greek historian Diodorus Siculus devoted an entire chapter of his world history, the Bibliotheke Historica, or Library of History (Book 3), to the Kushites ["Aithiopians"] of Meroe. Here he repeats the story of their great piety, their high favor with the gods, and adds the fascinating legend that they were.. the founders of Egyptian civilization, invented writing, and had given the Egyptians their religion and culture.''

I totally agree with you that we were disadvantaged from the beginning. The British were only interested in exploitation and not development. But.. God gave us amply opportunity to develop ourselves better, but we blew it. The country was awash with petrol dollars not long after independence, what did we do? We were more interested in stupid power play and greed. We had no vision whatsoever on building a developed society. We took to primitive impulses of crass materialism and consumption without building a productive base. We did not invest in developmental education like science and technology, but only interested in educational degrees and titles. We dug ourselves into a hole that is very difficult to get out.
Dude, a nation forcibly cobbled together from disparate ethnicities by greedy colonialists uninterested in national integration or development, but solely money and profit, will always encounter teething problems characterised by conflict, corruption, oppression, inefficiency, and other problems. Have you heard of the Berlin Conference of 1884? That was where ''Nigeria'' was born. It was an economic deal that had NOTHING to do with your progress or mine. What we are doing is trying to develop from a terrible disadvantage. We are doing a good job, having not slaughtered each other in a hail of disunity and hatred the way they did in Europe last century. Give us SOME credit. We are not Japan yet, but we have definitely come a long way in terms of development in the last 60 years.

I feel lazy to write long paragraphs, but I just want to know:where did the rest of Africa really go wrong?
You are IGNORANT beyond words. Try to research before commenting on things you know NOTHING about. Such as your dumb claim that ''almost all infrastructure in Africa was built by colonisers''. Name ONE road in Nigeria that you know was built by the colonialists. JUST ONE. Not to mention expressways or power stations. Or airports. Or flyovers and bridges. ANSWER: 0.

EVERYTHING you see in Nigeria today by way of infrastructure was built by NIGERIANS after independence, not the British colonialists. Same applies to ALL black African countries. THEY built their current infrastructure, NOT white colonialists.

The South Africa you are writing about, you are similarly clueless of. The ONLY reason SA is advanced today is that the colonialists who seized power a couple hundred years ago there REINVESTED that country's export proceeds from gold, into the country, such that by the 1940s, SA was already a developed country. They built their first universities as early as the 1880s!! Same as power stations, roads, bridges, rail networks etc. The reason the colonialists did this was because there was a huge white settler community there that regarded SA as their country.

Now contrast this with what the colonialists did in their fully black African territories. All we see is exploitation and near ZERO investment of export earnings in the respective countries, including Nigeria, which only got her first university in 1962, AFTER the end of white rule. Her first power plant, Kainji dam, was built in 1964 and commissioned by the Balewa govt. Prior to that there was NO NATIONAL GRID. The whites simply imported industrial generators to power the areas they lived in like Ikoyi and GRAs around the nation.

So the rest of black Africa is playing catch up to SA because we only started developing in the 1960s, AFTER INDEPENDENCE, while SA has been developing and building itself up since the 1800s.

SO TRY AND LEARN THE ACTUAL HISTORY OF THE CONTINENT YOU ARE WRITING ABOUT BEFORE INFESTING THIS FORUM WITH YOUR RACIAL COMPLEX AND IGNORANCE.
