Good evening house, pls what type of door or design can I introduce into this lobby entrance that lead to rooms and kitchen in my building. I was advised to put sliding aluminum door there by my friend,but I am looking for other beautiful alternative.
Kindly note that the lobby directly face the main entrance door thereby people coming into the sitting room will face lobby directly before sitting down.

It’s not a professional advise to use sliding door for such area of 4-5ft in a residential building lobby.
Look at what I used for a client here, you can use same or something close to that.
The one advised by NEXT is also very good

This is ok, but we will still need to look at other factors, ACCESSIBILITY, CIRCULATION & CONGESTION WITHIN THOSE MARKED POINT(BLUE), ALSO WITH THIS LAYOUT THE BASIN HAS BEEN CONFINED, ONLY IN WC(TOILET ) MIGHT BE THE ONE THAT WILL FIND IT USEFUL

If you look at the the space where basin is located is about 4’-5” and the size of bath width is only 2Ft and little inch means there is space of 2ft plus on that area.
Also the length of the bath is about 5ft-8” or so means the bath will not reached the blue point area.
With this there will be enough space to move to the basin area without issues.

But let’s still wait and see the real outcome measurement from the OP.

Here is the floor plan. The confusion is fitting both a tub and shower in the space.

It’s simple to me
Change the location of the bath and the shower this way.

We are saying the same thing. Even if it is 2500mm x 2500mm, the exact measurements of the build should be defined.
"This is how it is done" is not an excuse. Unit of measurement is not an assumption.
Everyone building a house does not know "how it is done". They go with the S.I units of measurement which is a globally acceptable standard. But then, we learn as we go. If the quotation is for 4ft frame, just build and deliver 4ft frame. No ifs and buts. If there is any reason(s) why it will be less or more than the size, let the owner know before...and not after the build.

Michlins shouldn't take these things as personal attacks. It will rather help him get better at his quotations and estimates. Even the best corporations in the world have a litany of complaints against them.

Please what can one add to a soakway to douse the odor emanating from it? the soakaway is not full just to make it clear but the odor comes out from the vent ontop of the soakaway.

I am wondering if there are chemicals or freshners that can be placed in the soakaway or vent to douse the order?

If that's the case, won't it be fair to quote 1160mm x 1160mm(since it is the actual build) instead of 1200mm x 1200mm? That is factoring in the reductions on both sides just to avoid confusion.

Actually you might quote so for “fit in burglary”
If it’s kind of “covered burglary” this type of burglary do extends beyond the wall opening size i.e if your window opening is 1200*1200 then the burglary will be 1300*1300 size. ( This design is very common is eastern part bcs of the size of block they used mostly there (6” block) it doesn’t accommodated burglary and window in Most cases.

General note.
There is diff btw “wall opening size” and *door leaf size*

On Neutral ground…
Some pages back I did full tutorial on how STANDARD DOOR MEASUREMENT should be.
I will search for it here when I have time so that people can learn how it should be done.

-Door leaf size
-Wall opening size
- frame size (thickness)
All these comes with different measurement
At the end of the day your DOOR of 3ft size with frame will still be 3ft.
