You can’t open a corporate account with your personal name that doesn’t have any addition or subtraction. I mean you can’t have a business account with Adeola chukwuma Samuel. It will be more like Adeola chukwyma enterprises or Adeola and Samuel and co at the very least. If she uses that account, na refusal.

To cut the long story short, please if your application has started exceeding the time frame, send paid mail and always call them. It was after escalating they started reasoning my matter. I thank God for my own and I wish everyone all the very best

When answering questions, I always like using experience that I know, not them say them say. I can tell you refusal will receive a letter of rejection in their mail before going to pick up. My point is the person would have been notified that what he or she is going to pick is a refusal.

I submitted the CAS and my sponsorship letter, academic transcript etc for my visa application and I did my biometrics September 23rd.. priority service. This morning I received email that they can’t process my application within that time frame because they need additional information. They didn’t specify what additional information exactly, they just said we need additional information and we will contact you if we need anything from you. Please can you shed more light on this? I am horribly scared. What could it be?

Good morning people, I need someone to to help a brother before serious depression set in.

I and my wife did priority visa and biometrics since the 22nd of September. I got two NSF mails firstly on Monday 27th September and the second one on the 4th of October. On the 4th of October I also got a mail from the UKVI that a video call would have to be done with me on Tuesday 5th October by 9:30 am.
My admission agent says they are requesting for the interview because of the three previous visa refusals I had in the past two in 2003 and one in 2016.

The video interview was conducted on Tuesday by an Indian woman from New Delhi and it lasted 47 minutes where I explained to them the reasons for the refusals The questions were basic and not different from what was filled online. After the interview she said they would get back to me by close of business that same Tuesday. But up till now I have not heard anything.

Meanwhile my school had commenced lectures since the 13th of September. I am fed up and don’t know what to do. I have sold everything at home in anticipation of the visa and now everything is on a gridlock.

Has anyone experienced this kind of thing before and if yes what was the outcome?

One thing everyone has learnt from ukvi is whatever works for Mr A may not work for Mr B. Even if I Said it’s a 90-10, that 10 percent sef you should go and give it a trial!!! Unless you are in a state outside Lagos.

If you visit the VAC, just hope that you find someone with compassion to answer you. Them attending to you without “collection mail” is always a 50 50 thing. On wednesday at TLS VI, there was this man that took his time explaining each mail to worried people. And sometimes, they will not even look at your side unless you have collection mail. But before you go, print this mail boldly and be showing anyone you see, beg the Person to at least explain what it means to you.

However on the brighter side, if your visa application was a refusal, you would have gotten refusal mail. Refusal mail is even with decision mail or before decision mails sometimes. So I believe it’s not a refusal for you.

Who has used access bank statement for proof? I downloaded my statement and there is no advice on the statement on how to confirm from the bank. Kinda risky to use

Enter the bank and tell them you want to print a statement for embassy. They print embassy statement differently from the regular. They have one stamp they will put on it and there is information on how to be contacted.

The total instalment paid to Coventry, my school was £8000 but £4000 was stated on my cas .

I was able to enrol onto my course last week..if the money,£8000 wasn't acknowledged i won't have had access to enrol .

My fear now is,what proof do i show to the embassy that truly it was £8000 i paid as against the £4000 stated on my cas?

Do i print my enrolment details as it shows all my details that i have fully enrolled cos without the payment of £8000,won't have been able to complete my enrolment .

I already calculated the £8000 with the bank balance i would be submitting for my application.

Coventry is horribly slow when it comes to communication, I can’t tell you what they cost me this session. Please do not apply for visa with that nonsense CAS, unless you will be denied. Wait until they correct the CAS or issue you another one. Keep disturbing them until they answer you. Call their numbers, stop sending mails. Call and talk to them, it will cost you airtime but I’m speaking from experience.

You can only use a dollar card or pounds card. You can’t use naira card

Did my own biometric on the 22nd Sept. (VI TLScontact), also priority and got the same email today. Asked a mate that got her visa recently and according to her, some pple get such email too and later got their VISA. It will end well.

If you are on full scholarship that covers your school fees and maintenance and recognised by the UKVI then the scholarship award letter is enough. No need of bank statement.

You can also sponsor your dependent. Tell your dependents to include your scholarship award letter and your bank statement in their application. Explicitly state in the cover letter that the bank statement serve as maintenance proof for your dependent.

Hope you know the UKVI financial maintenance amount for dependents and it differs per location ( inside or outside London).
