gidgiddy: If Buhari is going to hate any section of the country, then he should not aspire to be President of the country. The office of the president is for someone above hate. I can afford to hate Buhari, I'm not aspiring to President. But he cannot afford to hate me, he is the one aspiring to be no 1 citizen.
When Buhari brings back all the Igbos he has killed from 1966 to operation Python dance then we shall stop hating the clueless gworo chewing cattle rearer of Daura. Funny you! Do you think, ordinarily, if Peter Obi becomes President tomorrow, the Northerners will support him considering the hatred you have for them now they are in power? |

Jayetiti: As long as they remain NIGERIANS, it is the duty of the president to love , care and protect them. That’s how it works in a sane country. Very true! Now, consider this; "You owe every Nigerian responsibility as president, whether they like you /not." Here, be very objective not sentimental, what exactly is Buhari doing for the other regions he is not doing for you? Has any other President, including Goodluck done better for the SE? |
Politics › Re: Ohaneze Ndigbo Adopts Atiku Abubakar by RoyalUc(m): 2:13pm On Jan 25, 2019 |
gidgiddy: The answer is simple:
1) Buhari has been directly involved in the killing of Igbos for over 50 years starting with his participation in the counter-coup of 1966 where over 300 Igbos were killed. Then the civil war and lost recently, operation Python dance.
2) Buhari has shown his disdain for Igbos in words and in his deeds by referring to us as the "5%" and in totally excluding Igbos from the security architecture of Nigeria
3) Buhari showed the tribal bigot he is by proscribing unarmed IPOB who didn't kill anyone but failing to do the same against his fellow Fulani cattle men who are armed and slaughtering people daily.
4) Life for everyone in general has gotten tougher since Buhari came to power. Hunger wants to kill everybody.
Igbos have more than enough reason to hate Buhari's guts. It therefore means it's normal and proper for you to hate him. Don't you think it's normal and proper for him to hate you? Does anyone have the monopoly of hatred? What I'm trying to get you to see is that hate has never and will never solve any problem. It's time to end the recriminations |

I don't have any reason I will be voting Buhari than for their ethnic slur. I cannot leave Osinbajo to this too. Nigeria can break if it will, I don't fuc.king care. They should be prepared. It's a pity! Nigeria won't break though |

Ugosample: the first question you should ask is WHY so many from there don't like him. They are not all stupid
Buhari's antecedents are to blame.
That said
it's not a question of what you like
You owe every Nigerian responsibility as president, whether they like you /not.
Doing otherwise is wrong
in America, some states vote red ALL THE TIME (e.g. Texas) and some states vote blue ALL THE TIME (e.g. New York and some other eastern States)
But no matter who wins after wards
he/she must be president and fair to ALL AMERICANS
But Nigeria has not gotten to that level of maturity yet
still backward and primitive "the first question you should ask is WHY so many from there don't like him." Kindly answer the question for me, why do you hate him so much and when did it start? What is that unforgivable sin he committed against you? "You owe every Nigerian responsibility as president, whether they like you /not." Here, be very objective not sentimental, what exactly is Buhari doing for the other regions he is not doing for you? Has any other President, including Goodluck done better for the SE? "But Nigeria has not gotten to that level of maturity yet." I'm glad you know this. Until we get there, let's learn how to respect those we want to respect us |

gidgiddy: What exactly would you people have Ohaneze do? The choice is between Buhari and Atiku and Atiku is closest to what Ohaneze wants in terms of commitment to restructuring and appointing Peter Obi
Everything in life is not about supporting someone because they are in power, if it were that way, Buhari would not have become President Did you or have you ever heard Kingsley Moghalu? In terms of ideas and policies, will you even compare him with Obi not to talk of Atiku? BTW, do you sincerely believe Atiku will 'restructure' Nigeria if he becomes President? |

Ugosample: Why should there be anything like "marginalization" in the first place?
Whoever wins the presidency OWES Nigeria (not those who voted him alone)
But Nigerians and una repugnant mentality Alright, think of it this way. You hate him so much that you don't want him and you don't hide it. You are ever willing to pull in down, even to kill him if you can. His brothers are ready to give their lives to ensure he doesn't go down. In all sincerity, if it were you, who will you care for most? Nobody is saying you must love and support him, but it is EVIL to expect him to love and care for you |

Valstresser: . You really spoke my mind. ASUU is not fighting for salary increments but improve learning condition among others. I wish she should be courageous enough to also write to Federal government. Our Educational system is still in shambles because our politicians send their kids to Europe and America for studies while our Universities lack enabling environment for studies. "ASUU is not fighting for salary increments but improve learning condition among others." You are sure about that? I have a copy of their demands, how can I forward it to you? Take it or leave it, ASUU is not ASUU is not fighting for any "improve learning condition." I used to think like this before. The only concern I have for ASUU is that working conditions affect motivation and productivity |
Education › Re: Open Letter To ASUU President- By Okafor Chiamaka Favour by RoyalUc(m): 10:46am On Jan 24, 2019 |
Khanben: The sad thing about the letter is where the writer wrote that she does not know what the demands of ASUU entails. Most Nigerian students currently suffering from this strike and their parents also fall into this category. It is perplexing that these things keep on happening incessantly and most Nigerians have not even bothered to find out, what the reasons are, for the incessant strikes actions. The level of nonchalance about the ongoings of our polity is one of the main reasons why majority of nigerians are aptly describe by both Fela's song 'zombie' and Lagbaja'song '200 million mumu'.
PS: If you are a Nigerian student/ youth and you've not taken out time to find out what is causing these repetitions in strike actions then please do so. "The sad thing about the letter is where the writer wrote that she does not know what the demands of ASUU entails. Most Nigerian students currently suffering from this strike and their parents also fall into this category." It's really sad! I'd once challenged ASUU to make their demands public if they are actually fighting for a better education system in Nigeria. From your write up, I guess you've seen the agreement they entered into with the previous administration, with all amount of sincerity, tell me; - are those demands realistic for now? - having gone through the document, do you truly think ASUU is fighting for the students or for themselves? No nation in Africa can conveniently implement those demands for now (considering the size and challenges of Nigeria) |

MathsEconomics: Your points are valid. No changes would occur but if the fund is managed properly, our siblings and children are going to enjoy a better education system than we did. If ASUU should call off this strike and never go on any industrial action again, those 400level students you mentioned will definitely be happy, but our education system will also decline to the minimum. Let everyone be patient, the government should provide proper funding to the education sector. The quality of education in Nigeria is too low, we should fight this not ignore it. May I ask you a question? Do you have the full knowledge of what ASUU is 'stricking' for? I'll suggest you download the agreement they entered into with the previous administration, go through it thoroughly, and see if ASUU is actually fighting for you or for themselves |

ibnzubair: Information get to them when those involved reveal such. If the press gets information about the details of a planned attack, then it must have come from the military and hence, the military should be responsible for the leakage. I'm not in support of the press here, but I believe the military should have been more responsible I agree with you that the military should have been more responsible, but according to the report we are debating on, they said; "the invitation of those responsible for divulging military plans was done with the best of intention in order to make them realise the import of such acts to our national security." they went to invite those involved. You said, "If the press gets information about the details of a planned attack, then it must have come from the military and hence, the military should be responsible for the leakage." we all know there will always be a 'betrayer' in any group, but as responsible corporate citizens, would it be wise to publish information capable of jeopardizing the efforts of the military? Would you say the military is not trying the much they can in the fight against BH? |
