TooNoisy: Oh how I miss the Nairaland Family section. I read some of these posts and I just wonder how some of the people behind these monikers reason. This is not about supporting whatever a woman does because you are a woman but it's simply about being reasonable.
Please read the bolded again. So, if a man is treating a woman badly in a relationship, to the extent that resentment starts building in and the woman now hates the man, you are proposing that she goes ahead to marry that same man that she hates? Did you marry some you hate? So let me summarise your post:
1. A young lady with a bright future should continue dating a man who obviously doesn't love or value her. 2. It gets so bad that she gets fed-up and begins to resents the man and even hates him 3. So with 1 & 2 above, you propose she goes ahead and tries her best to marry the man because of societal pressure or virginity 4. When she gets married, she now begins to act crazy in revenge
What you typed is a joke. Young ladies, if a man is treating you like trash in a relationship, it wouldn't get better in marriage. Marriage is for a lifetime and you don't want to be unhappy in your marriage. Just walk out of the relationship and you will find a better man. There are good men out there who will surely locate you. Honestly Her comments and perspective is worrisome With such mentality the society will crumble What about the children? Why marry someone u hate, just to revenge at the expense of your kids? Won't that resentment affect their upbringing I am glad not all women reason like that |

LilMissFavvy: Not only can she boast as being married according to you. She can also leave the marriage with children, to me that's one of the biggest benefit.
It's funny the men arguing with you are not aware that some ladies just ''marry off'' to have kids, if they feel time is running out. O boy! So going by majority of the comments by women on this thread, it is safe to say it is very risky to go for older women as they maybe willing to do anything just to get married. Hmm |

Greatzeus: Why do Nairalanders always treat romance or family topics as Male versus Female issue? Females supports female stands and males mostly do the same too. Not only nairaland o It is a world thing It is a man against a woman Sometimes we put gender behind because we need one another, but that innate urge to compete will always be there |

CHoccolaTE: Wo, just as there are men that exact revenge on wives during marriage for reasons best known to them there are also women. It goes both ways.
And I insist than many men get conned easily, women are talented manipulators. Even if he leaves her after marriage she won't care cos she can now boast of being married before. This is an eye opener The bold is very funny lol So married before is an achievement for women? I never knew, reason a lot of woman pretend just for d marriage. I will tell my friends to be more careful, marriage is a much more achievement to women than i thought. But this your mindset is toxic, what about the children? Don't u women put them into consideration at all? |

Olazzeedris: **Primarily why molding block ;1 For us to have good qualities 2. To avoid delay[ 3. Maybe to save little cost etc. Now Firstly; Is good you mold it on site to get good quality ,because if you're to buy of standard it would cost you more infact you may not see it at the range of 200 or 220 .Though region determines.
2nd on materials ; You need like 3.1tonne to 3bags of cement for 100blcks. 35 per bag Cost you 19,000 to 20,000
Then if you're to buy of the same quality you mold @ rate of 220 to 250 . If u are molding with machine like op said, i don't think there is much difference in cost. @bold i think it is actually the opposite, u buy blocks to avoid delay, molding do take sometime |

switspin: Bihari should ban importation of cars into Nigeria No! Govt can't keep banning everything No country can survive on its own Even in USA they still ride German cars What govt need to do is to support innoson so they can start making affordable cars the ordinary Nigerian can afford, that way imported cars will lose value and every dealer will concentrate on innoson. |

CyberWolf: Innoson shouldn’t be depending on government for patronage, he should be masses oriented and how can he do that? By making cost effective cars that ordinary/low income earners can afford without much hassle. This is what i expect them to do Their prices should not be dragging with imported cars. But i am impressed sth like this can come out of Nigeria. The man really tried |

Education › Re: Share Your Most Embarrassing Moment On Campus by Rubbiish(m): 9:40pm On Oct 31, 2019 |
EmptyCoconutHead: my most embarrassing moments on campus happened this afternoon in one of the varsities in the Mid-West. So today was final year cultural day where all final year brethren were to represent their culture and tribe by wearing their cultural attire, so while walking with my colleague we came across this gorgeous girl with an Efik (Calabar) attire and my colleague cajoled me to walk up to her and communicate with her since she's from my tribe as I'm a Calabar guy, so I obliged and walked up to her and initiated the following convo with her
Me : Ediye Etie didie (Beauty how are u)
Calabar babe : idiokke eyeneka mmi (I'm fine my brother)
as I was about to press further to Interact with her so I could get her digits, all of a sudden a guy (cultist) from no where with reddish eye balls due to excess intoxication from Indian hemp walked up to me and gave me a resounding slap for daring to "chyke her girlfriend" mehn I became the cynosure of all eyes as my course mates and passersby gathered to see how the guy dragged me down to an open place and started raining me blows (he was high on weed though) and used my cheeks to engage on slapping practice. I was tired, weak and hungry after having a series of classes and since I realized I couldn't withstand this muscular guy, i tried to explain to him that the girl was my tribe girl but the guy couldn't listen and started raining me heavy blows till my eye got swollen and when my colleague came to my aid he was blocked by another fellow cultist and they shew him a sheathed dagger. so this guy kicked me and pushed me into the mud till the white shirt I wore became dirty And behold my long time crushed passed around there and saw as I was being dealt with by just one guy, oh gosh I was so ashamed of myself and I went back home with such a huge catastrophic disgrace meanwhile the calabar babe wasn't even concerned with what was going on. later this evening my crush called and asked what happened and later mocked me for allowing a single guy to beat me up effortlessly. brother I'm typing now from the chemist with swollen eyes. today has really been a bad day for me. cc PrimadonnaO Na this kind experience dey make people join cultism. Abeg no let situation push u join. Any girl that has connection with cultists, just ignore them. |

megacontrol: Hello all,
What is the estimated cost savings per block in molding blocks on site vs purchasing specially made blocks? For the sake of analysis, lets say we need 20k (twenty thousand) blocks and space is available on site to stack it....
1) What is the best unit cost (and savings) we can achieve if we mold compared to buying from the market at btw N200-N220 per block?
2) What are the materials required and quantities to mold 20,000 pieces of 9" blocks on site?
Thanks for your contributions. Unit cost will also depend on the method of block molding, if u will be using machine or hand mold blocks |

Did I at any point say a driver shouldn't choose destination?
What is my business if you people choose destinations? It is your right. If there is anything I have ever said as regards drivers and riders altercations- it is, be civil and professional about it.
Enough of this you people have never owned a car. I drive a 2015 SUV, been driving it since 2017. I know what it takes to fix a car!
So, you all should please learn to keep your emotions in check. The world isn't out to get you drivers okay? Not only 2015 SUV, u also drive 2025 SUV? Nonsense! Have u ever wondered why we are so different from white people?? Only in Nigeria u see poor people look down on profession and people richer than them. Many uber drivers are the owners of the car they use, but these so called ill mannered girls have only one phone they use for their ashewo business. |
