Biritiko:Please don't start. Don't let tribalism take over your sense of reasoning. The issues at hand affects us all either you are Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa. |
jamace:A servant or master to what? |
bluecircle470:Understand ke? If the news was written on his forehead, he won't still comprehend... bad belle before sense. |
jamace:Another bad belle post. Are Nigerians with dual nationality our problem? |
srclark:I tire o. |
GavelSlam:Dont mind am...Na bad belle they worry people like that. |
franchasng:Your response indicates that our reading culture in Nigeria is suffering. You are way off-mark...please take time to comprehend. |
Kenneth10110:Take time to read na. It's not hard to comprehend. |
Hallenjay:Could you please explain how this will affect Nigerian Celebs? It appears you are missing the point. It only affects children born OUTSIDE the US not INSIDE the country. Even that, it only requires them to register and apply for their wards citizenship before they turn 8. How many Nigerian celens have American citizenship? What most of them do is to give birth in America and their kids are automatically quaqualified as a citizen. Let's take time to read na. |
nwakibie3:I wouldn't because I am not a myopic tribal bigot like you. Shoe get size. |
nwakibie3:The budding inventor wants investment to actualize his dream of taking forward, not seeking recognition as a Biafran. However, you can put your money where your mouth is and spearhead the sponsorship. |
chennaija:What is your problem and obsession with the Yorubas? Afonja dis, Afonja that...even when the news have no tribal or ethnic bearing. Someone acquired wealth meant for all of us and you are here displaying your incurable madness and stupidity. |
Jayslicky:I didn't expect anything less from you. Enough said. |
Almaiga:I am a Yoruba and a detribalised Nigerian. Please understand that this is a collective image battering and insult, and we should all endeavour to stand up and denounce these maltreatments. |
I honestly don't blame them and I don't care which tribe people think are constituting whatever it is they are aggrieved about. We should ship their businesses back to their country. You don't want us in your country, then you shouldn't have our money creating jobs and much needed influx foreign investments. They can't eat their cake and at the same time expect to have it back...sick of this countries treating us with disrespect. We should have left their sorry ass to deal with their situation during the apartheid. |
Nigga44:Don't start please. Leave this tribal bickering alone. |
Esejojo:Lol...you won't kill person with your analysis of the situation but that's another way of looking at it. Nice one. |
Preshob:Does he have to do that? We know that it will be unthinkable of the Mark Zuckerberg's, Aliko Dangote's, Carlos Slim's and and other LEGITIMATE entrepreneurs of this world to stoop so low to this debase and repulsive level ostentatious display of 'wealth' but if you want to glorify this stupidity, be my guest. |
UniversalDove:I disagree. We tend to make use of money they way earn or acquire it. |
Commentor:...flocks together when campaign donations was changing hands. |
J111333:I feel your pain. It is very unfortunate. It used to be the 'Nigerian Prince' jibe but God knows what the next exotic names they will start calling us, going forward. |
BuhariIsBURIED:My advice to you is to watch your utterances. These are statements and actions that may have unforseen repercussions. His Excellency is democratically elected and since, for whatever reason, you are not happy with him being the President, it will be wise to let your vote do the talking in the next election. |
He is right and I couldn't agree with him more. However, I think he is bored with too much time on his hands like his other PDP cohorts. Uncle FFK should use his education and knowledge to advance the aspirations of the youths in this country...but then he didn't do that when he was in government and would not expect that now. |
The lines between genuine entrepreneurs and 'yahoopreneurs' or other 'preneurs', is getting blurry this days. Nothing is black and white anymore. |
richmind2019:...before nko? We also should stop this stupid bickerings over yeye tribal or ethnic affiliations. Our mumu don do. |
kenwhawha:When will you start showing understanding that this is a collective national embrassment and not a tribal one? Besides, no be afonjo dip his hands into fraud or encourage the Governor to take campaign donations from him. We all needs to start questioning people for their source wealth. |
helinues:...by birth. The difference is that you dont swear an Oat of Allegiance for such acquisition of dual citizenship. |
selemempe:If browsing data is given based on a minimum requirement of 0.5 IQ, you will still be living in the stone age. How can you read a newsworthy story like this, after all the battering our collective image has taken as a nation and all you can offer is this? Where is she from, Yoruba, Igbo or mix, well meaning Nigerians are proud of individuals like her. Grow up. |
KenechukwuEdu:Even if there are provisions for proper drainage, government is still expected to unblock the waste-clogged drainage channels...It's always government's fault. Again, I rest my case. |
Gazzy88:I think so but he needs to clarify because that is one bold move. Beautiful couple though and happy married life to them. |
Even before i watched the video, i had my suspicion as to what the tribe of the individual could be. Ordinarily, this shouldn't have been in the news because there is nothing newsworthy about it but I am sensing damage control and deflection tactics from certain quarters in view of what has been happening in the last few days regarding fraud-related arrests. We all should understand that these issues affects us all, irrespective of any tribal connections. |
starbuck:Not disappointed by your 'damage control' comment. In fact, It is expected. Not justifying any form of crime, petty or not, this is insignificant compared to the further IRREPARABLE and soul-crushing damage Nigeria's reputation has been subjected to by the recent arrests in America. I just feel sorry for the legitimate Nigerians, who will undoubtedly be affected by this recent developments. Say NO to tribalism. Say NO sentiments. |
