ajl: If the lady wants to celebrate, let her do so. Na her life and her business. You mentioned ancestors that was taken as slaves. We all know the history but if you live in the past, the future will leave you behind. Yesterday has gone, today is going and tomorrow will always come. The lesson we can learn from that is not to let our mind, intellect and self dignity to be enslaved...we owe that to our ancestors for paving way for us. 1 Like |

CapitalHYC: That is the most senseless comment I have ever come across on this forum. How many players were able to match Ronaldinho during their playing career How many people on your street have you been able to match, career wise or otherwise? I am appalled and shocked by your mind-numbing analysis. He has achieved enough to be proud of himself and take care of his family and all the best to him going forward. Focus on your life. Politics / Re: Sanwo-Olu Declares State Of Emergency On Roads, Massive Rehabilitation Starts by Rubicon67(m): 7:14am On Oct 14, 2019 |
Declaring State of Emergency to rehabilitate or patch potholes on roads, is overkill in my opinion. The projects should be strategically done in phases to ease pressure on commuters and other road users. Also, what are the stipulated quota of Nigerians these multinational construction companies are mandated to employ and train? As far as I know, we have qualified Engineers and Engineering companies in Nigeria that can execute projects like this. Having said that, let's wait and see what becomes of this announcement. |

He attempting suicide indicates the mental anguish he and his current loved ones are currently being subjected to because of being exposed. However, do we know what became of those vulnerable girls/women that he and his likes sexually harassed over the years? Does he even care? People like that will jealously protect their own family while destroying others. 1 Like |

TheWrita: Lagos is Lagos, port or no port. London doesn't have port and yet it is a triving City . Lagos has the alluring energy, vibrancy, economic dynamics and that is why it is the melting point of people from different cultures and states. Abuja is the seat of power with better roads with relatively planned layouts but it can never be compared to Lagos...no where in Nigeria can. It either you have it or you dont. 4 Likes |

Business / Re: Nigerian Customs Sabotaging Igbo Businesses - Ohanaeze Youths by Rubicon67(m): 12:59pm On Oct 03, 2019 |
I am beginning to think that the border closer is responsible for this unsubstantiated allegations, due to the fact that imported goods are now required to be processed via legitimate channels as opposed to the previous ways and means. However, the victim mentality and sense of entitlement exhibited by this group is bad taste with possible tribal undertones and malicious intentions to decimate the efforts of the Customs. 2 Likes 1 Share |
Celebrities / Re: Yemi Blaq Secures Plumstead Construction Contract With Oyinbo by Rubicon67(m): 1:38pm On Oct 02, 2019 |
Firstly, congratulations on the contract award. More power to your elbow, if it is true because most social media related posts this days are fabrications. Secondly, where the picture was taken is Abbey Wood Station in South East London and with what appears to be CONWAY field operatives. Thirdly, if you are going to post something like that, at least let it be with the company's Contracts Managers, Construction Directors or at least Project Managers, at the board level. Congratulations again. |
