Christianity Etc › Re: Bishop Oyedepo: "Noisemakers Don't Last Only Newsmakers Do" by Rubicon67(m): 10:48am On Sep 13, 2020 |
HigherEd: First do not even assume that Oyedepo knows who freeze is. Oyedepo doesn't watch news and doesn't read newspapers or use social media. He's as traditional as it gets. National relevant news are relayed to him in the most very old fashioned way through his aides.
Even his children or wife knows not to bring this sort of discussion about an irrelevant freeze to him, you may not like the response you will get.
Mind you Oyedepo created 6,000 more churches in the most rural parts of Africa in just six months. His organization is growing like wild fire with growth exceeding his past nine years of ministry. That is the point he is making right there. If the so called haters can't stop him from expanding or growing his sphere of influence then they are noisemakers.
So don't think this was a response or rebuttal of freeze. They are simply not on the same level. Well said. No contest. |

Lagos, I repeat, has what other states don't have such as geographical location, melting point of people from all works of life and corners of the world etc. It is unique. Toronto and New York has never been Capital of their respective countries but they thrive economically, socially and also a force to be reckon with politically and on a global stage. |

Politics › Re: Air Force Performs First All-Female Crew ISR Mission (pictures) by Rubicon67(m): 6:53am On Jun 06, 2020 |
Rediff1: There is still something Nigeria fail to realize. How can a lady grow to a level of Captain of aircraft?. Its unheard of. Air crafting and Piloting especially when going to war is a very sensitive duty which requires maximum level of Braveness which women is naturally UNCAPABLE of. The truth is, women can never have a strong heart or bravery a man can have. Don't get me wrong, am not been Gender Based but even Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, " Women are not Completely created that is why God create men to be their guidance. The prophet also said a woman should never occupy any leadership position, not even a head Mistress because no matter how educated a woman is, she can never match up with the natural attribute of leadership God bestow to Men. That brings me to a Rank of captain, a captain is supposed to be in charge and command a group of soldiers on an aircraft when going for a mission. (Soldiers which will consist of Men). I think Nigeria's constitution need to be revise and limit the maximum rank which women can reach in military. Don't get me wrong, I love women women, am just speaking the truth, please don't insult my opinion. Meanwhile, check out the announcement Below Your opinion, even though it is baseless and sexist. We have women today dictating the affairs of powerful countries while others are in positions of influence all over the world. So being a Captain of a fighter jet, for instance, should be a norm. But since you do not believe in the abilities of women and their unique role in Society, pray that your daughter's, sister's or wife's ascension in life is limited or restricted based on your misogynistic and backward dispositions. This is 21st century, not Stone Age. |
