This is the only person that gave simple explanation has why the answer should be 1. Whatever rule you want to follow the answer is still 1 because solving maths has a process and when u missed one process u will arrive at a wrong answer believing that is the right answer. NB: There are two brackets here to be solved before the division.
Your wrong, the second bracket can also represent multiplication since it's a single value inside. The first order of bodmas the bracket implies you solve whatever that's inside the parentheses first.
Use any calculator you will also know that the answer is 9, even with your mechanical calc
This works because you covered the whole denominator with parentheses, so everything in the parentheses get solved first before the final solution, the confusion is when the parentheses is not involved.
Reasons I. Both are programmed with different algorithms to solve the same problem. How I. The Casio work with an algorithm or principle of BODMAS while The Android phone and other computers are programmed with an algorithm or operate with a principle of operator precedence. How Does The Algorithm Work With the above question here is the solution of bodmas and operator precedence solution.
I. BODMAS algorithm
6÷2(2+1) -First work is B "bracket" 6÷2(3) - second work is O "of" 6÷6 - third work is D "division" Answer= 1.
II. OPERATOR PRECEDENCE algorithm 6/2(2+1) -first work is bracket, it has higher precedence than multiplication and division 6/2(3) -second work is division, because division and multiplication have the same number of precedence, therefore there is a rule that is applied to choose which one to apply first. The rule is left-to-right. Whenever two operators have the same number of precedence you work left-to-right. 3(3) -third work is multiplication Answer= 9
Note: - I will advise, most especially students in secondary schools to use the one of the casio because that is what applies to bodmas which is used in secondary schools and University. The one of Android phone is mostly used by computer science student.
In conclusion both the Casio and the Android Phone answer is correct.
Your completely wrong, O stands for anything exponential, you need to consider 2(3) as 2 * 3 which is basically the same thing,
6÷2*3
Following the order of bodmas, you handle division first which gives 9.
Witnesstony28: Pls I need to inform everyone on this platform of a fraudulent group of persons who present themselves as crypto sellers and have the ability to double your investments within 45 mins of investing with them.
The have a telegram group named Access Capital Investments.
As at yesterday, they scammed me of 45,000.
I started with 5k, they paid me 10k, I invested another 5k and they paid me another 10k. Then I invested 20k for them to pay me 40k, one of the guys then called me and said I needed to upgrade because the want to make me their agent in my area (this is because I told some persons around me who did and got some more money).
This guys then said that, the will upgrade me to VIP if I pay more 40k to make 180k.
I was sceptical at first oh, but then went ahead to send the 40k.
Na so my people, one of these guys take switch off his phone. Then followed with not taking my calls. Then since yesterday evening nothing oh has entered my account.
I almost lost my mind but I had to hold myself and my friends consoled me.
Pls be careful. There are sharks prowling.
I also want to ask if there is anything I can do to recover my money. I still have the account number of the guy. I am thinking of going diabolical but I still want to know if there is any way I can get my money back.
Pls admin, I need this plea at Frontpage. Pls.
You should have posted their account number details and everything about the group in your post so that anybody who search on Google their account number, name or phone number will see that they are a scale through your post.
You Will have to format your phone, I got a similar who faced same issues, we tried all method but nothing could be done so we formatted the phone and it worked.
That's strange, mine accept literally any earpiece i plug to it, even iPhone that's very strict with their device are won't go to that length of limiting earpiece that works with their device
Anything leagoo phone I advise users not to buy. After a few weeks they will start to malfunction with stupid virus always installing in the background.
Arrewa: a bigot will always be a bigot.... There's nothing you can do about that.
They will always defend their own at expense of their own life.
The hatred they have for the north has clouded their sense of judgment
There are sometimes you just ignore such comments because no matter the good you try to do they will always criticize you negatively. It's better you respond to critics that are not out of hatred but just to improve you positively.
TrollKiller: So I am still using a Transsion phone (tecno lb7) because I don't have much money yet to upgrade. But I will asap. So I am a teacher at a private school and recently my school management asked us to make a presentation and video for e-learning (aje butter school) I went online and sourced for this, and I found VivaVideo and KineMaster 1st and downloaded. I went to YouTube and got to watch some videos. An hour later I had a general sense of the app. I bought the VIP feature (worst mistake I made) and launched the app only for the app to lag and stutter on my phone. I was confused, why should video editing be a uphill task for my phone? I remember a friend of mine who had a redmi 8, he has a gaming channel of 3k subs and he games and edits on a 2gb ram redmi 8. How come these Transsion phones are so useless outside Whatsapp and fb? Let's think about it, this is video editing, something that is actually useful and pays in real life, and my 2019 tecno phone can't do it. I regret spending close to 40k on this nonsense last year, how I wish I did more research. Now the VIP I got is useless since the app refuse to run well. I can't even edit well. Money wasted again. Konga and Jumia are by far the greatest online shopping mall in Nigeria, with great number of people patronizing them daily.
You hardly regret ever shopping with them with as they are a very reliable and trustworthy, and deliver the goods wherever you want it delivered!
Nothing great comes without its disadvantage! People are now falling victim of being duped online, ordering for goods and paying with the goods not being delivered! My sister actually happens to fall victim.
Initially, we thought it was a mix up and perhaps the phone ordered was delivered to the wrong person! But after heading to Jumia's nearest office, then we found out it was never a Jumia Official but a man that's currently working on bringing down the two great shopping mall.
It was her first time shopping online, and she never thought of what the outcome happened to be.
HOW IT HAPPENED!
She went online and saw the phone of her choice, not more than #20,000, then she saw a phone number she was to contact, of which she did, according to the man, named Mr. Mike, she's to pay before she get the phone, he forwarded the bank details and she paid into it, and she's yet to receive the phone as of today!
I haven't really bought anything from the two shopping mall, but I don't think they would have been operating with a bank account which display a man's name and not that of their Name!
Due to the location she was ordering from, he (Mr. Mike) informed here it would be delivered to her the third day and they ended the conversation, She's still expecting the phone today!
The problem now is, getting to the nearest Jumia office, they claimed the man was never their staff nor marketing manager as he keeps describing himself to people, and as of the time we went to report, we were told a case similar to ours was also tabled before them 3 days earlier.
Your sister made a big mistake, I still don't know how she saw the sellers contact on Jumia. Jumia acts like an escrow between the buyer and seller and assuming she paid through Jumia and she didn't receive the phone, Jumia automatically refunds her money and she can also do same if she did not receive the product advertised.
I'm planning to get that phone...yet some pple dey discourage me say the phone no dey strong or durable... just confused
Been using redmi 7a for 2 years before I passed it on to my younger cousin to use and I upgraded to the note 9 pro, According to my own view Xiaomi products are good.
Video circulating on social media shows a massive explosion rocking central Beirut - shattering windows, knocking down doors and shaking buildings several hundred feet away. Lebanon’s health minister told journalists a ship carrying fireworks had blown up in the port, though the size of the blast heard across the country raised suspicions it might have resulted from a rocket strike or detonation of explosives - deliberate or otherwise. The source of the blast has not been confirmed
moatacad: Below is another interview with one of our alumni, Sunkanmi (mentioned above) sharing his experience at the boot camp :
“I was able to develop a professional networking site and I now have a job as a Software Developer” – Sunkanmi
Can we meet you?
My Name is Sunkanmi Daniel Olawuwo. I studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering with no prior knowledge of programming before coming to Moat Academy.
What were you doing before joining Moat Academy?
I was a Field Engineer with a Remote Monitoring Solutions Company; I resigned because i wanted to change my career path.
What exactly do you want to achieve with the software development skills?
I am looking to pursue a successful career in software development; then establish tech startups that will proffer solutions to some of the challenges being faced in the world.
How has things Changed For you since gaining Software Development Skills?
It has helped me to understand and be able to work with the technology around me. In a way it has improved my communication, creative thinking, and self-confidence. It gives me a newfound sense of energy to really pursue the goals i want in life.
What was your biggest fear before coming to Moat Academy...?
My biggest fear was the complexity and difficulty attached to learning programming languages. I did not believe I would be able to understand programming and web development in that short space of time.
How I feel now?
I feel empowered because i have one of the most in-demand skills in the world. With God, hard work and consistency I am on course for a successful career in software development.
How will you describe your experience at Moat Academy?
The boot camp is a mirror image of what to expect out there as a software developer with daily assignments and mini-projects every week.
The approach to teaching is world class; the facilitators are patient and always ready to help.
What have you been able to achieve with the training?
Towards the end of the boot camp, we worked on our final projects. I was able to develop a web application (Professional Networking Site: which allows members to share posts, comment on posts, follow and unfollow one another) from scratch to completion and I now have a job as a Software Developer.
What advice do you have for those coming into Moat Academy?
My advice for them is that they should be devoted and dedicated to the training. Moat Academy has its own standards; students need to work hard in other to achieve the expected outcome after 11 weeks.
What is your future Outlook in Software Development?
I have a solid foundation thanks to Moat Academy, I am looking to learn more and grow through the ranks as quick as possible.
You are trying to sound intelligent, but opposite is the case. People advised him not to. For people to advise him, it means he already had his choice : Tecno or Infinix
Try to reason accurately before quoting someone. Don't be in a haste.
So he should neglect user experience of customers concerning the phone just because of his 'choice' so he will later come here complaining on the same issues other users complain of.
