Oops... It seems nobody on nairaland has the settings for the Mtel GPRS

I have never used any of the GPRS connections. But I have tried the Vmobile CSD connection when I was in Abuja.

It was pretty cool, but their site was not running well you know. When I came back to Sokoto, I discovered that Vmobile was a rubbish. I could not receive or make make calls easily, I had to try and try before catching it up.

The worst of it all is that[b] I could not even check my balance[/b] nor recharge my account easily, I had to try it also several times...

But now, I've dumped the Vmobile line and am on glo and Mtel. For now, I have no connection to WAP. Does anyone have the Mtel GPRS settings? I called there customer care, but they refused me the settings. They said I have be a postpaid subscriber before they will give me the settings.

glo is Zero here, no GPRS... Someone assist me please....

I've it and want to share it with people...

Vmobile is now out with a new service called Vmail, a special service that allows you to send text 2 email... Its fun.

Vmail details:

If you want to send an email using your Vmobile line, just send a text starting with the letters EM followed by the email address, then the # key, Leave a space and type your message. send the text to 3000.
1 SMS (160 characters) including the email address is charged at N20 per SMS

Example:-

Type: EM name@domain.com# hello, how are you doing? I am send this text from my mobile. Its fun.

Send to: 3000 30000

Remember: every email is charged at N20 per SMS (160 characters including the email address)

I had love the ECONET too, I bought it when it was N20 000

But i gave it out just to get Mtel line... Dont think am a fool, its because there was neither ECONET nor MTN coverage in my area. It was then that Mtel droped into my state... So, I gave up my former line to get Mtel.

But know... am onto all, I use glo... and i still have the MTN, Vmobile and Mtel lines... I dont know which one better. but i think i prefer the glo... cuz i use it more than the rest.

The MTech did not work with my globacom number.... I dont think the Mlife allows other network do get the dial up number...

Please if you or anybody has another connection other than... Mlife, Mi World, Vmobile CSD or Vodafone. should please PM me. Because i have all this once and they didnt work....

I used Mtech before and it did'nt work with my glo line... but now, I've realise my mistake. I was using "mtech" as the username and "mlife" as the password.

Also, I dont need to go to a cafe to browse seun... I have a LAN connection in my house at my desk, quite 3years now... I dont go to Cafes at all.

Its just that i want to cary the whole net in my hand and walk around all day long...

Well, I dont think they would hold my domain name just because of the name i use... besides, It took me quite a long period of time to think of the name clue boy.

It's been a long time that i've started building the site Clue Boy, it was a great miracle that i was lucky to have it... I was so surprised and shocked when I saw i won the domain name competition on Nairahost.

You miss used the service, maybe you downloaded so many things at a time. Something like Jokes and Football Scores.

The first time i used Magic Plus, I lost N600. But now, I am use to it... They dont chop ma money again. Some times I dont visit it till my account is bellow N20. and even if I have enough (Maybe above N500) when I log into it... I do it with all my senses knowing that I may loose

The Tips are:

When ever you go into Magic Plus, dont open and cancel pages; you may loose money

When you in Magic Plus, try to download one thing at a time. when you download alot, you may loose

Finally, dont cut the connection with the hangup key, try the EXIT link; this will safely take you out of magic plus.... This last one is the main think you should consider always; the above ones are under probabilty.
