Maybe you guys should stop making hoodlums your leaders Gani Adams is nothing but a refurbished tout! A carpenter who hyjacked OPC from Fasehun. No formal education, no serious training for leadership, just a retired Awawa boy parading around as an emergency elder.. The government can easily compromise such buffoon! You also have MC Oluomo being programmed for greatness. Slowly, you guys are starting to "mainstream" the chap. A stark illiterate with countless murders and violence in his resume, but who cares! You sing about him, get him to visit police stations like an elder statesman! Next we will hear is that he's running for office or that he is the substantive Òne kaka-whatever! Isn't that the same way you guys burnished the image of a hardcore drug peddler and crowned him the king of local politics even when his dubious past was there for all to be astounded with. In power, your jagaban has promoted cult activities in ways never seen before! Lagos is now being suffocated by cult groups with violent members running into tens of thousands. From Lockdown to Endsars, Tinubu boys kept Lagos busy! The problem is corrupt leadership and a penchant to glorify misfits while rocketing them to the highest positions in the land! That's wrong on all fronts... |
Racoon:Salihu was the guy who tried repositioning the army for the first time post war. He once described the Nigerian army during his valedictory session as "an army of anything goes".. Telling, with the benefit of hindsight... |
juman:He hasn't told you so.. |
tsdarkside:Better to be insulted than to be beheaded... |
tsdarkside:In the federal republic of Rugaria, to survive, you have to apply "wild solutions" to "wild problems".. |
Ojiofor:It's not being discussed because general agitations have not reached the right crescendo.. It's step by step, no matter how faulty. Biafran agitations can only attract the much needed global attention if it's persistent, vociferous and widespread! At the moment, the groups in the vanguard of this agitations are not yet there. But is chickening out the alternative? Is abandoning the ship going to get the agitations to the promised land? I don't agree with all of the guys tactics honestly! For instance, I think it's simply boneheaded to be abusing the western governments almost every day. I mean, yes, they supported Nigeria during the war and that's the main reason we're where we are today, but they are still in charge of things globally and can easily wreck your movement if they consider you to be anti-west. Best bet would be to atleast, pretend you will do business with them. If it even means "dashing" them some, as the federal fulani government has done in order to have them by your side, do so! After all, that's the quickest path to political success in Africa... But Nnamdi hammers away at Britain and the rest imperialists at will. Strange! That said, you have to come to terms with the fact that by keeping the igbo question on the front bunner for years now, dude has revatilised the brutalized political psyche of the average Igbo man and has helped push igbo interest pretty vigorously through an uncanny brand of fervent political evangelization. In the process, educating igbo youths on the importance of demanding for their rights now and now. That should count for something if you ask me... |
This is a sick excuse,.. that cement prices went up because of covid! Very convenient excuse to make.. The truth is that a "Cement Mafia" headed by Dangote and his brother Rabiu are desperate to make stupendous gains from cement sales at the detriment of the welfare of Nigerians and we have a very sectionally minded government that is not ready or willing to lift a finger and do the needful in order to save poor Nigerians! The cement majors have the country on a chokehold! 5000 naira for a bag of cement!? When they're selling cheaper in other countries where they have production facilities! We are dealing with a group of invaders who are not interested in the betterment of the country. That's obvious because no patriotic entrepreneur or good government will sit by and allow the price of such an essential commodity to skyrocket in this fashion! How can you build a modern country without cement? Folks should have known better! But the government doesn't care because we're being led by a set of people who prefer cave existence and mud houses to any sort of city life.. |
Keep telling yourself lies. At the appropriate time, you will start facing the truth! The president of the country who is a fulani has refused vehemently to arrest or prosecute fulani hoodlums involved in countless massacres! As we speak, in this Nigeria, many middle belt communities are now being occupied by imported fulanis after killing and chasing away the indigenous owners who are now living in IDP camps! They have given the communities new fulani names the same way they changed Hausas Gobir to fulanis Sokoto! We have the police, the army and other paramilitary organizations but nothing serious has been done! Security agencies know the camps of these herdsmen killers in the bush but will be dragging legs instead of taking actions. Governor Elrufai came out openly to confess that they know these fulanis and where they're coming from and that he has even gone to Niger to pay them in order to "appease" them... Then, after all these, in your best judgement, you feel the best people to term themselves are the same fulanis! Can't you see you like telling yourself lies? You are like the proverbial ostrich that likes sticking it's queer head into the sand, rather than control it's nemesis! You don't like facing the truth and that my friend is suicidal.. |
Ojiofor:You don't think it might be helpful if you take a deep breath and take a second look at stuff? The way you guys are going about this Nnamdi kanus stuff, you risk throwing away the baby with the bathwater... Don't know if you have anything personal against him but I think that constant agitations are needed to get anything for the marginalised! You may not like his tactics, but where are the alternatives? When the army attacked his house, he went under for months. Yet nobody spoke up for igboland as vociferously as he does!! If folks feel his style is against their principles, they should start off their own group, let's see if that may help. But to argue he should shut up when nobody else wants to speak up is to me, counterproductive... |
Those are the real weapons! You can take down any relatively obscure military post with a couple of those weapons |
IamAtikulate:You have to be careful.. their idea of competition can be lethal. That's why you read about poisoning and rituals a lot. They don't see it as you want to "compete".., they see it as you want to challenge their power... It's the culture, stuupid! |
Typical.. |
Epunch1:I think I have to start ignoring some of these irritants... It's starting to become very obvious that most of them are nothing but impostors.. |
Badorey6:That you lack ambitions shouldn't be my headache! It's the same way you handed the country over to some wild cultures and today you are forming Amotekun to guard against your creations! Even at that, How many Yoruba C-in-Cs since 1966? How many Yoruba GOCs? And why should the north dominate perenially? Is the military, customs and police some properties of some sections of the country? If you're culturally prepared for subservience to your desert gods, some other people are not! So instead of fouling the air with your convoluted logic, you should rather scurry back to which ever hole you wriggled out from when any other group feel the need to demand for equality.. |
RuddyFusion:If you lot want every position for yourself, just get your brand new republic! That way, you can appoint your likes to every important and non-important positions.., from cooks to president without anyone asking questions! But trying to impose your will on others and making jest of it will ultimately end in premium tears someday... |
Badorey6:And because those are elective positions, that's why there has been only ONE igbo Army Chief since 1966!? Oyah, go ahead and defend the indefensible as usual.... |
Badorey6:But there was a Yoruba president! A Yoruba vice president! And Yoruba major ministers! Guy, if you don't know what to say, just zip it! |
To warn every body in advance; This was the guy that was the commander of 82 DIV Enugu, during those days of endless massacres of IPOB protesters from Aba to Onitsha and from Nkpor to Enugu! A very haughty fellow who failed miserably as the field commander operation lafiya whateva, he was replaced basically because of his incompetence. For a long time, it has been rumoured that he might be appointed to this position. With his wayward disregard for lives, folks need to be ready for more massacres and total disregard for human lives and the rule of law.. This guy should be at the Hague and not at Army headquarters.. |
tot:Lol Clap for yourself! They hate him that's why he hates them! What a convenient excuse! It's a round table and it keeps turning! It will get to una turn someday... |
Brendaniel:Makes you wonder the kind of things and decisions the make in secret about the Igbos... Talk about your worst enemies being your ruler! Also a food for thought for those who think he can ever hand over to an Igbo! That won't happen.. |
System202:Thabo Mbeki resigned... Jacob Zuma also resigned! The leader of Lesotho resigned few months ago.. Even in floundering Cameroon, Ahmadou Ahijou resigned, that's how Paul Biya came to power.. Ethnic alligience and fear of ethnic persecution are mainly the chief reason why it's always hard for most chief executives in Africa to resign. |
Vistra40:Government can set out to use the huge amount involved as some sort of "soft loans" to SMEs operating within the state, to start off such agro-based industries across the state. Get one of the commercial banks to manage the process of disbursing such funds to the most technically gifted entrepreneurs in the field with the best business plan and instead of the business men going directly to obtain loans from these banks at cut throat interest rates, you as the government will provide these billions for such businesses. The Chinese have similar programs.. Doesn't make sense? |
Use the bilkions for this plaza to construct a chain of huge fish farms, big ranches for cows and goats or poultry farms across the state in collaboration with seasoned farmers/entrepreneurs, and more jobs and sustainable productive industries will be guaranteed! But we like gigantic elephant projects in this country that will only sell Chinese goods while beutiful Ebony state still remains the a rural enclave.. |
Inkling:Head or tail, Igbos will always loose with that guy.. Stop wasting your time on him.. |
BabaOwen:Told you they are sitting ducks and they know... Toasts! Many PLA soldiers went into the military simply because of Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan... This is not a country you and I know, where young clueless men go into the military hoping to get innvolved in a coup to become either governors, ministers or president someday. |
It seldom snows in Beijing.. Are they going to import snows from Heilongjiang? |
That's what they should be doing.. Not moving from one kindergarten to the other like perennial peodophiles arresting toddlers for dancing to Niara Mailey... Btw, Where those "guns" made from some bamboo trees? Looks like firewood.. |
Neddstark:Fear fear man.. I'm from Orlu and we are paying our deus for freedom as I speak to you! Man up and be strong! Stop shaking like a pregnant woman about to be delivered of some triplets... |
Neddstark:War will come to you whether you like it or not! Unless you will prefer they use your fingers and ears and maybe your abunna too for barbeceu... |
