The 3-lions were awful.

But hats off to the Italians and Prandelli in particular; the team is set up with amazing stability and they keep that ball very well.

Litmus: lol, by the time Goldie has finished with that Kenyan guy,the man will be as proud and confident as a Nigerian man. He won't be able to cope with other African women. He will be forever compering the manners and behavior of his wife unfavorably to Goldie. It's like Goldie is a Proud Man Maker!

wouldn't have minded Goldie if she kept her cultural behavior to Nigerian men.

BTW
why aren't i seeing outrage because that Ghana man hit that Sierra Leone girl?

i thought that was disgusting and more people should have condemned it.

polecat:

don't you think that what you wrote above is daft?

Are you related to Goldie was it part of your family's plan to go on international television to demystify Nigeria?
Are you and your family kinky people, masochists who derived gratification from servitude?
Maybe you people in your family are natural slave material, beware of celebrating and gloating that people will look down on you and your family.

lol, the people in your family must be very strange. grin grin

Since you are all in favor of being looked down upon, i fully expect you to thank me for this response. I know that if you were here as I'm typing this you'd be massaging my shoulder as i put you in your place.

Nigerian my foot cool
If Prezzo was a Nigerian, you'd be up in here screaming "NAIJA NO DEY CARRY LAST" or better still, if you were in Prezzo's position, you go voice - typical double standard!

fork adict: Wherever BBA is the subject matter, Nigerians are all that. Naija just had a very unfortunate run this year cos of Ola's health issues. Plus Biggie's insitence that both Ola and Chris had to exit the house together. If only he had been magnanimous enough to let only Ola go, then Naija would have won the show again. No question.

I don't undestand how you can relate Goldie's disgusting conduct in the house to human nature. No one is saying it is wrong to fall in love or to love another. But to act all deperate for someone's attention when it is so obvious to all both viewers and housemates alike with the exception of Goldie that the Prezzo is playing her is what i find offensive. She even confessed that she lives for Prezzo in the BB house. What does that tell you? Not only that, but the fact that there are many many guys in naija, that are better than Prezzo head to head on any and every forking criterion Goldie sets but she chose to act all desperate for someone like Prezzo? Haba Prezzo?

You reserve the right to want anyone to win even Goldie. I got absolutely no qualms with that.
Blah, blah, blah. Only because we've got it in our twisted minds that we're Africa's Aryan race - Goldie is Nigerian abi, bet y'all don't think she's all that now! like I said earlier, if Prezzo was Nigerian. . . would y'all be beefing him!!?

yeah right. . . like we all haven't been in a similar position or experienced such before, abegi!

@ Safari.

I am saying. . .we (Nigerians) have somehow gotten it into brains that we're ALL THAT and always want to potray an image of SUPERIORITY over other Africans wherever we gather together. If Prezzo was Nigerian and Goldie, some other nationality, I guess it'd be all backslaps and high-fives for him. . . .but no!

Yes we are and will forever still be revered but I guess this scenes with Goldie will help to tell the rest of Africa we are every bit as human and as they are. Also should bring us to the realisation that we should have at least a wee more regard for our African counterparts because after all is said and done, we're no different from them!

Back to BBA issues - I suddenly want this Prezzo dude to win tongue

TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa Stargame; Official Thread by RuuDie(m): 3:28pm On Jun 16, 2012
Typical Nigeria. . . grin

Me, I am just happy that the rest of Africa is seeing a 'demystification' of the Nigerian persona - we've always been riding on the back of that facade, using it to 'chance' the rest of Africa and in the process got ourselves believing we are more than we really are; thinking we're so far ahead of the rest of Africa and as such always have to be numero uno.
It really, really gladdens me that, at least to some extent, the reverence we've undeservedly enjoyed over years will diminish somewhat, even if it is by just a little.

There is a 'Goldie' in every last one of us and for those who want 'form' that they are different, your rude awakening will come too; it might not be on Tv but I assure the implications will be no different!

Car TalkRe: Nairalanders: How Do You React When Your Car Is Hit? by RuuDie(m): 1:17pm On Jun 15, 2012
Twice when I was learning I scratched other vehicles and was let go scot-free, so now I reciprocate no matter the extent of the damage.
Haven't had any major run-ins of note though, so I just let it slide. . .don't move a muscle, don't even bother to come down and survey the damage as long as the engine is still running and the car will move, sometimes it leaves the other party bewildered - especially when they'd have stopped, standing there in the middle of the road waiting for a blitzkrieg. Always get funny stares from other motorists whenever this happens.

This is the way I see it. . .

If you're an OND holder, you can push for DE to any Uni, I reckon you can consider this a step forward or on par. But for someone who has completed 2 years, 2 years HND + 1 year Industrial Attachment to push for a DE simply to end up in year 2 or 3 in the Uni - absurd! Me, I consider that a serious backward movement! Ahead, ahead. . .I'd move for PGD and progress to Masters and other Post-graduate qualifications.
