@ Topic, Then that'd be me on a one-way trip to hell or wherever it is he has reserved for those that didn't believe in him. . .albeit, with my head held high and ready to accept whatever fate that awaits me! |
Flocris: I am a 24year old lady, I finished my NYSC service october 2011 and i just got a very good job in lagos last month(may). Now, i am about to get married, my husband to be resides in Abuja and my traditional and church wedding would be comming up on september. My fiance said that i would quit my job immediately after the wedding and relocate to Abuja.Take the job. . .!!! |
Who's the winger pretending to have the ability of a natural creative CM?
Hazard of course! |
Now that the Presidency is following 'due process' - what next for the opposition to the name change!!!? |
As for the Hazard vs Kagawa debate ~ we might as well just play Ashley Young as the #10. . .no use splashing all that cash on a winger 'pretending' to have the ability of a natural creative CM! |
Shinji Kagawa. . . excellent buy, don't care what anybody else thinks or says; and I don't even have to wait for him to prove his mettle - the name alone does it for me. Skillful, pacy, strong, makes and scores goals. Not the very best midfielder in the world, but definitely a bit of what is lacking in our team. Heaven knows we don't need another winger! Step in the right direction SAF. . .next up a decent LB alternative for Skippo Evra. |
Bontee: That is just the way it is and i don't know why people are pretending like they are not aware of it, its a waste of time in the Nigerian setting to be debating how to change the name of a university that belongs to the government. Just do the consultation behind the scenes, announce the changes and if there is any opposition ( guess this is the first one in this new democracy ) then get the senate to approve it simple.By far the one individual laying it all out succintly. . .as far as anybody is concerned, filing at the senate is more or less a mere formality - the name change is as good as a done deal. One very important question is; has there been any visible aggressive opposition from any of the tiers of the National Assembly since the announcement was made public!? |
@ Dayo. In all fairness. . .Klose, Podolski even Olic would have played better than Gomez in that final. The few times he saw openings, he just seemed to freeze when you expected him to pull the trigger. Granted Robben and Ribery weren't punting crosses into the box for him; but this is how Bayern always play with both their wingers on opposite sides to their 'stronger' foot, relying more on the overlapping full-backs to get the ball in the box if need be. In this day and age, a striker of gomez's stature should be able to mix it up a bit and be prepared to get the ball at his feet, back to goal, hold it up and look out for the run of his midfielders or make diagonal runs into the box when Rob+bery make their usual cut ins - the crosses weren't coming in, no use standing around in the box-18 like he had a blue jersey on! |
usbcable: Hello all.Congratulations man. . .make sure you keep him away from the likes of Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Di maria and CR7 - you won't fancy what he'd grow up to be oh! Xavi, Iniesta and Messi are better suited as role models for the li'l man. Cheers! ![]() |

I wish Berbatov could just stay on and UTD find a system of play that is just a tad slower. . .with Berba + Wazza combo, Wazza can always drop into the midfield and pull defences out. All this headless running by some of our wingers is just so annoying - and Welbeck, oh ![]() |
Funny. . .isn't the movie still going to be released anyway and the whole world will eventually see whatever she was doing that y'all refer to as 'private' - or were they (Mercy and her co-actor) doing something that was not in the script!!? |
Bayern only reshuffled after they scored, which was logical. . .Van Buyten for Muller; defensive switch with 5 mins to go while leading is something most managers, especially Jose Mourinho would do, so no blames for the Bayern manager there. Boateng lost Drogba for that goal, not Van Buyten. Boateng was the defender marking up Drogba but let him get away from him rather easily. . .so Van Buyten couldn't be blamed there either. Tymochuk normally plays in midfield not CB. . .so with Muller off, that was the natural thing to do to try and regain their shape - Van Buyten at the back, Tymo furhter ahead. So spot on for Henckyes there too! Truth is, Chelsea were just destined to win no matter what Bayern did! |
Na jigawa i do my NYSC...and na this same Kazaure i dey for that one yrs....i kw wat dis almajiris can do.....even somtins ..they will slap copas, throw dem stone...we kw go fit talk, even we GEJ was decleared winner ..they threthen to kill all dis copas in that Kazaure..they ar all animal.......we were al livin in fear ....! I fenk God for JEGA's life...
Dude. I served in Jigawa too. . .at a time there was some intense religious crisis in the North. A time when surrounding states were reporting carnage and fatalities. Nothing, not even verbal assault; I repeat, nothing happened to me or any other kopas that hung around during that period. If you were living in fear, na only you dey do yourself! |
. . ."support same-sex relationships but smart reporter/reporting. . .he's probably just brought to light the true feelings of Will, Obama and other 'supposed' same-sex supporters! |
Youths attacked the Emir of Kazaure's palace. . . in fact this na FAT LIE! |
With respect to Buhari's now infamous "Baboon and Dog" spoken in Hausa...I think those guys over at the politics section down here to see how very easy it is to mis-interprete, miscontrue or blow way out of proportion, the simplest of statements! |
Yujin: @Kobojunkie, did you miss the part I mentioned about enlightened minds and illiterates? Let me ask you another question; which of these crowd is prone to become violent while in the course of a protest- an organized union or a free for all, illiterate dominated group? It might well be the "illiterates" that have a better understanding and would interprete those statements in the correct light as against what the majority of the anti-buhari posts here suggest. . .illiteracy doesn't really matter when it comes to such - if I may ask, how many of the proverbs, adages, bywords or saws did we, the so-called intelligentsia, learn from the classrooms in our schools!!? |
Buhari speaking in the native tongue of the people he was addressing is quite akin, in terms of purpose, to GEJ's "i grew up with no shoes". . . ![]() |
ritchboy: Cleverley, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes and Pogba.Fellaini is better than these guys!!? I no fit shout abeg! |
montelik: We have Ashley Young. One of the few things you can count on is his good efficiency from dead balls. It is not a pressing need as much as having deadly players on the end of the dead balls.I meant direct free-kicks. When was the last time we scored from all the free-kicks we usually get in front of the opposition goal!!? In fact, so rare is it that anytime we score from such free-kicks I know its going to be a good day ![]() |
figures: I am actually crying because all these things are missing in my marriage. I have been married for 4yrs with 2 kids. If I try to talk to him he ignores me or says I talk too much. Mind u, I am the introvert here, he TALKS tooo much disclosing personal stuff to strangers. He hardly appreciates anything I do. Despite the fact that I work full time, I didn't have a house help until I was about resuming maternity leave for my 2nd child( he didn't want househelp). I did all the chores myself, he claims there is a washing machine dat I don't do much. He sits around and sends me on errands. He even says I am lazy sometimes. Since I had a house help I have been relieved. Always complains about about food and he cannot even cook noodles. Many times I regret marrying him. He changed completely. The area of finance is another kettle of fish. I make 90 percent of our income. I work in an oil company ( dis was just after we got married). I see this as a priviledge, so we have 1 purse. He access to my account and monitors my spending. I am not extravagant by any standard. My issue is not in buying clothes etc, he gets angry when ever I send money to my mum or siblings( dey don't know about dis). I am the 1st child and it is my responsibility to take care of them. I have 3 siblings and they are all independent. But once in a while dey need things from me. In fact dey give me more than I give them despite the fact I earn more than dem. If he discovers I sent money home, he sends money one distant cousin too. In fact I have concluded dat he does not love me. I made greatest mistake of my life. Sorry for barging into ur thread op, I just had to vent. I have never discussed this wif any1.I don't have any reassuring words for you unlike some of the others. . .these bolded statements are all I am going to base my judgememnt on - four years is not beans and if that conviction in your mind remains amd grows any further, pack your things and leave that dude for good while you can! |
Where is your floor plan? I can only see the elevation, so therefore, any given answer or reply is incomplete.
Spoken like a true Pro! |
Who could forget veteran Cameroon striker Milla Ro'jay (as the french would pronounce) setting the 1990 World Cup alight with his brilliant waist wiggle? The 38-year-old grabbed four goals to propel The indomitable Lions out of the group stages and into the quarters – all celebrated with his hilarious hip gyrating by the corner flag. Ah, the stuff of legend!
I'm not the one who sets the level. Lagos government and Lagos folk decide what they want the minimum quality level of a doctor to be for their state. But once they've decided what X is, then buy as much labor at that quality level as they can. Which necessarily means finding the cheapest guys you can at the level of quality you want..
Doesn't look to me like they have a say in any decision-making in the state - just ask the folks at Lekki! |
These Lagos doctors are not different from boko harams since they both have -zero regards for human lives.
And the LASG has so much regard for human lives that they have decided the people of eko are better off without Doctors. . . I laugh in Swahili ![]() |
Mcdondayan: My question is, is it by force to work for the lagos state govt?I think he shld focus on recruiting more docs who are willing to work in lagos owned hospitals. These guys deserve no mercy at all. Imagine how many pple ll die in these fedral hospitals because of "the solidarity strike"Did they force LASG to hire them!!? |
Fulham looks a place to go hunting for players. . .they've got some very decent players there and that big, deadly looking chap - my, oh my - kind of guy I'd love to unleash against the likes of Kompany, Terry and co! ![]() |
A midfielder with decent dead ball skills will be very welcome. . . I say we scour the middle tier teams in Spain, Germany and Italy; forget big money buys and headliners - but if Real are willing, Lass should be a target. |
Homar: Sevilla na dead club like liverpool their glory days are over .Shuo. So make people no support dem again abi!!? |
Marouane Fellaini..Please
I'd rather we exhumed Gravesen from wherever he is holed up! ![]() |
Juan Roman Riquelme's scincillating performance against Inter Milan in the 05/06 ucl quarters. . .and oh, that audaciously, vicious, swerving shot from the most ridiculous of acute angles; very near the left-hand corner flag of Inter's goal - fantastic save by Toldo too - but Roman was in the spirit that night! |
