hmmmmm. . . . just wondering the kind'a response Carlito's gonna get from UTD fans - I just hope it don't turn out nasty! |
@ maedan, Absolutely outstanding. . . . simply picturesque - just like in everyday life. what am really interested in seeing is how u patch up ray & tiara back together again - if indeed they'll get back together - from what i just read, i think its a bit of a tricky spot u've put yourself in with this last scene. . . . it'd a lot of guile to craft out something "believable"; consistent with what has just transpired. i'm really looking forward to seeing how u work it out! Pretty sure u can pull it off, u've shown too much potential already. . . . am just so fascinated to see how! |

tkb417:Yes oh. . . . for me, he is up there - he is like a much "skillful Fletcher" and his finishing is just top-notch. Emperoh:Ah. . . . that when u have to be careful cuz outta nowhere, he pops up and gets a goal. . . he is a "thinking" player, u are not gonna see a lot of flashy work from him but his brain is always working - i really respect and admire him a lot. |
The only citeh player that strikes fear in my heart is Ireland. . . . probably the best midfielder out there in the EPL. He is such a phenomenal athlete with great goalscoring instincts - just hope we can keep him quiet - any other person, no shakes we go shackle them. 4-4-2 is the way to go; as long as we can keep the opposition on the backfoot for long spells, we stand a better chance of winning. This is no time to be showing a great del of respect! |
Great win for UTD - a win away from home in very difficult terrains is certainly a good way to kick of the UCL campaign. Wish we can get the 1st round of matches done by the 4th so we can focus all our resources on the Ligue and other cup competitions! |
Please i'd really love for tax, labour and other economic gurus, scholars and practitioners to throw some light on this matter - it is a true scenario maybe a bit sketchy, i hope you can make something out of it and advise, i'll be glad to offer more details where i can: A group of workers are contracted to a major O&G company XLT via a contracting agency ABC. Now, agency ABC has explicitly declared that these fellas are not their employees and XLT only regards them as contractors. These guys reside in various states of the federation but work in the niger-delta area. Work is rotary - 2weeks on and 2weeks off - wages are worked on a day-rate basis and it is a pay-as-you-work arrangement. According to terms of service agreed upon by the workers and Agency ABC - just about the only thing that ABC does is to pay the workers their wages plus any other extras as approved by XLT mgt. My 1st question is, according to Nigerian Labor laws, under what category of workers will these guys fall ? What kind of taxes are they eligible to pay and do they pay their taxes individually or does the agency ABC deduct it from what they earn? Who do these guys pay their taxes to - state of residence or work location state? |
night and day, na so she dey pray, make d thing jus be play, im go show back and e no go too 'tay, eye neva see since may, and even for phone word don scarce to say, small small na so dem waka different way, by her side im for like stay, run thins' togeda till anytime dem dey, love yanfu but na how to hol' am for tray, sun don off and dem no make enuf hay, finally dem don waka far away, carry their ka'ya and seperate am today, no how wey dem fit make tomorrow be like yesterday . . . . |

Abegi leave matter. . . . . Adebayor has not even been abused yet and he is behaving like a tout in the Oshodi of old. Has he been the target of more abuses than Samuel Eto'o or other players that play in european ligues where racism is almost uncurtailable. . . . how many times has Eto'o incited a semi-riot in any stadium with provocative actions or gestures. Cantona gave a fan a flying drop kick - did anybody ask what the fan had said or done didn't Cantona get sanctioned ![]() Abegi, admit he bleeped up by not using his head - shows a lack of discipline, professionalism and restraint on his part - that in itself is enough to get him banned; very unsportsmanlike! |
Y'all c'mon. . . . don't try to take the shine off Del Potro - he beat the best and second best players in the world to win this GS and it was no fluke! @ chic2pimp, wey u. . . . like sey u bet now, shebi i for don chop small money for d week! ![]() |
now tell me how there won't be an upsurge in the rate of disgruntled marriages. . . . |
@ Davidylan, see i told u it was coming. . . . the fairy-tale wouldn't have been complete without another unheralded occurrence - it was ominous; after kim's triumph, a Fed upset was just there waiting to come to pass. Its really not about form or who plays better; its basically just about the direction that lmother-uck's wheel is facing! |
Adebayor an embarrassment |
nateevs:TH14 view - we can see the stands EA25 view - we cannot see the fans |
chrisical:look on the negative side. . . . one day, you'll wait, wait, wait and wait for the backlash! |
maedan:Ha ha. . . . thats all u got to say!? |
Amodu is far better. . . . considering the no. of games Argentina have lost now - i mean, compared to Argentina, Nigeria under Amodu is like the "invincibles" - when last did they lose sef ![]() |
Look lets be very objective. . . . i'm not a gooner; but from indications it wasn't really a good idea for Adebayor to do what he did. Apparently, there was enuff bad blood between both parties before the game, absolutely no need whatsoever to push it any further. Its not even about the stamp on RVP - that cannot be anyway related to the response of the Arsenal fans; its all about the celebration and it was plain for all too see what he did. If he had no where else to go it would be understandable. . . . . but just look at that picture up there - it's clearly de-lineated - Gooners on 1 side Citeh-zens on the other and he had to face the gooners; what else can we conclude from that When u run the full length of the pitch only to slide and land in the bosom of opposition supporters, i really dunno what u're expecting - or perhaps he'd forgotten he wasn't a gooner no more! Another point to note is; fans will always be fans - they will go to lengths to make the most hated players miserable but as a proffessional sportsman, u're expected to be the gentleman and it takes discipline. Obviously Ade is still lacking in that area. We've seen players play, score and do even more significant things against their old clubs in the fiercest of rivalries and nothing over-board happened. . . furthermore, Arsenal fans do not even have a history of being malicious this manner which all the more points to Ade as the guilty party here. |
Wonder what the tv coverage situation is like now. . . . . am currently outside lagos and have access to only DsTV, now that HiTV has got the rights does it mean that DsTV won't show the UCL matches here in naija again!? |
This russian / ukrainian teams are very good. . . . happen to watch russian ligue games every now and then on Setanta and these guys are pretty impressive - Rubin, Spartak, Lokomotive, Dinamo - commendable local content with admirably talented young players coming thru the ranks all the time. |
