hmmmm. . . . . come to think of it, been quite awhile!

The last informal ones i wrote was during youth service - '06/07 in Jigawa.
Used to write to a friend, she was serving in the state capital, i was in one of the other towns. Used to send it through one of our female friends who served in the same town as i but frequented the state capital fairly regularly - from the gist i heard back then, all the chics used to think it was quite romabtic

you are right on the fact that for starters in Nigerian IT industry, its the IT Support / Helpdesk being the best bet.

I'm currently working as IT Support in the O&G and it wasn't easy to get the job - in fact, i have to say i was very lucky to get it. it was like the lotto; someone just picked me outta the crowd. Most of the top jobs go to the Expats - Indians, Americans, Brits etc.

So i think its best if the poster started out small and then grew on the job so to speak. . . . might take a while but i guess it'd be worth it!

Would like some real-life, hands-on info about the whole program and exams!

Inspite of the many ills, the hustle, the bustle, the difficulties. . . . . . Can't see myself anywhere else but Lagos!

I've done time up the dry, dusty north, down the wetlands of the south-south, the eroded, red mud of the deep east; tasted the different lifestyles - but none compares to life in Lag!

When i went to ABJ, nice place - but didn't wait to hear the last of what i was there for, took my bags and bailed. . . . . darn expensive! If you have to travel a lot of places in 1 day in that city, you'd need to have a ride to survive. . . . it was a far from pleasant experience!

I think the Imam's should be left out of this exercise. . . . i mean, how many of em mosque's in the holy lands of Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan Own private jets and go on world tours
